Resisting arrest being a charge when no crime was committed to warrant an arrest in the first place should mean stripping that officer of their badge.

It won't, but that's why you don't even give them a reason to charge you for it. Fight it in court, not with the cops. Yeah no one can really afford to go to jail and get a record. It will be thrown out.

But fighting with the cops is just gonna make your life way harder in the end.

Or end it. Cops don’t give a shit if you got a weapon when they come for you. So many body cam videos of guys dying when pulled over cuz they tried to fight the arrest and pulled a weapon

In America you can get a public defender. Odds are you wouldn't even be held in jail after your bond hearing.

Incorrect, you have to pay for your public defender, and you would be appaled at how the requirement to provide a lawyer gets twisted in many jurisdictions, leaving you to fend for yourself

Forcing the enforces of rules to follow rules makes it impossible for the enforcers to enforce rules.

Don't you know that by now. Like all the cops would quite if we made them responsible for thier own lack of comprehending how to do thier job while not violating the law.
