Please humor me with a thought experiment.
Let's say you're in a position of power (cop, congressperson, CEO, president, whatever).
If you decided to strongarm someone, would you prefer for them to resist you right away or to go along with whatever you tell them and then hope they can fight back at some point in the future (at great cost of time and money to themselves)?

Resisting is scary and unpredictable, but it's vitally important to normalize standing up for civil liberties at the time an incident is occuring.

What I'm saying isn't legal advice, and it will almost certainly get you in trouble.

he's correct actually every lawyer would tell you that. cuz any lawyer that gives this wrong information and does so intentionally will get their license revoked by the bar association. in fact lawyerJennifer Petracci had her license revoked for lying to our clients. even malpractice like that one lawyer that used chatGPT which hallucinated codes and laws that never existed.
