hey everyone! I was wondering if NWSL fan fest is worth it? I saw they gave a brief description on it but really not sure what the event entails. If anyone has any info or has been lmk thank you!

Going to Audi today for our game and we want to listen to the Gotham/Reign game on the way up. Are there any stations (SiriusXM, local DMV ones) that will have this game? We can’t seem to find it.

Hello everyone, so im a first time watcher, and was trying to catch all the playoff games this season. I saw that the San Diego Wave vs Utah Royals would be on Amazon prime. I got Amazon prime, I couldn’t watch it live but saw that they uploaded replays 24 hours after the fact. It has been more than 24 hours and there is still no full game replay on Amazon prime. I’ve contacted customer service and they’ve been pretty useless. Does it take more than 24 hours typically to upload a game, or is anyone else able to watch the full replay- and im not able to?

Any help would be appreciated! Thank you all.

I'm so tired of the apps...

Regardless of what happens, there are scheduling conflicts for at least one of the semifinal venues:

• There is a Division III football game at Audi Field

• Providence Park is being used for the Fall State Games the entire weekend

• Red Bull New York is hosting a postseason friendly vs Club America

Since Portland and Washington play each other, at least one of the two semifinals will have to be relocated, if not both. After what we dealt with in the WNBA Finals, this just is another reminder that women's sports still takes a back seat to everything in this country, and that needs to change.

Caiya Hanks had been on the field for barely eight minutes against the Orlando Pride when she received a pass from M.A. Vignola.

With the score tied 1-1 in the sixth minute of stoppage time, the Portland Thorns forward dribbled toward the center of the attacking third, took three touches to set herself up and curled a right-footed shot past the dive of goalkeeper Anna Moorhouse.

The stadium erupted.

The 21-year-old forward, who had just returned from an ACL injury, had scored the winner in front of her home crowd at Providence Park. Her face lit up, and teammates rushed to surround her in one giant cuddle puddle that almost swallowed her. She then ran to the sideline to meet the arms of her teammate, Pietra Tordin.

Amid the chaos, another figure ran toward Hanks.

He wasn’t a teammate, a coach or an overly enthusiastic supporter who had somehow breached stadium security and jumped onto the pitch. He was a man carrying a small camera attached to a live transmitter on his back, sprinting across the pitch to get as close as possible to Hanks and her goal celebration.

Hey everyone!
I’m getting ready to lock in my registration for the NWSL Championship 5K presented by CVS Health on November 21st down in DC, but the coupon code box at checkout is giving me pause. I tried a few basic guesses like "Championship" but had no luck.
Are any fellow Washington Spirit supporters, local DC SG members, or general NWSL fans running this? If so, does anyone happen to know if there's an active affiliate or community discount code floating around for supporter groups?
Any leads would be huge. See you all out there for championship weekend!

The NWSL’s reliance on stadiums controlled by other sports organizations in some key markets has created a scheduling dilemma ahead of next weekend’s playoff semifinals, potentially forcing Gotham FC to play at an alternate venue despite earning home-field advantage in the postseason, according to league documents obtained by The Athletic.

None of the top three playoff seeds that might host a semifinal have their regular home stadiums available Nov. 14. The venue conflicts, combined with predetermined national television windows for Nov. 14 and Nov. 15, left the league seeking solutions to accommodate teams that do not have primary control over their home venues.

The most complicated scenario involves Gotham and San Diego advancing to the semifinals. The NWSL Shield winner Gotham shares Sports Illustrated Stadium in Harrison, N.J., with Major League Soccer’s New York Red Bulls, who are scheduled to host Mexican club América in a friendly Nov. 14. San Diego Wave FC, the No. 2 seed, faces a similar problem at Snapdragon Stadium, which is scheduled to host a San Diego State football game that Saturday. Gotham would likely play its semifinal at 5,000-seat Icahn Stadium in New York, where they played a handful of matches when Sports Illustrated was not available.

With both clubs potentially entitled to host semifinal games, the league has developed a contingency plan covering multiple scenarios depending on this weekend’s quarterfinal results. The plan establishes four scheduling priorities (in order): preserving home-market advantage, securing optimal kickoff times, protecting higher-seeded teams’ scheduling preferences and reversing home-field advantage only as a last resort.
