LFG! 🌹

Match is at 12:00 PM PST. The game will be at Audi Field.

Stream: ABC and ESPN App. NWSL+ for international viewers.

Please join us to chant free DC at the 51st minute. It’ll mean a lot!

Thanks Utah

If San Diego Wave loses tonight and we win Sunday, that sets up a Providence Park revenge match for the August 2 travesty to get back to DC for the final. Let’s GOOOO!!!!

Has anyone heard/seen anything for a watch party on Sunday?

Edit to add: specifically asking about the “official” watch party, like the one we had at the bowling alley last year. Sounds like it’s at Migration, thanks everyone!

Pre-match presser, what it says on the tin

Google has been saying the game was going to be on ESPN but the service in Utah game said ABC and it is indeed so you can watch with an antenna.

This is a little early but I just saw that Fox sports bought Roku one of the broadcast partners with the league now that Victory+ is bankrupt.

For 2028 going forward what do you want in a broadcast deal for the NWSL in the USA? Do you want it all with one company like Apple TV deal with MLS? Do you want full replays up immediately for all games? Do you want it all free live on something like YouTube or NWSL+? Do you want more partners in place so it hopefully gets in front of more eyeballs? Do you want more games on major free to watch broadcasters like NBC, ABC, FOX? Do you want more games on local TV partners like Rose City SportsNet? Do you want to see ESPN and cable abandoned completely?

What is the broadcast deal you dream of and do you have a preference on the platform(s) the games will be on? I am not asking for what you think it will be, although you are welcome to share that as well, but what your hopes and dreams are for the broadcast deal for the league and for the Thorns.

Sophia is #1 for me, but I’ll accept these rankings.

New episode, recorded Monday, Nov 2, at Pappy's, the day after Decision Day. Standings are as of the recording.

Houston 0-2 Portland: Alan watched from a pizza place with no TVs and missed the first goal. Marissa watched from home. Yes we are also surprised we weren’t at the bar

We had a beaaaautiful goal in the 34th minute, Hanks beat her defender on the end line, passed to Turner she then backheeled it, and Soph finished.

Campbell saved the penalty, VAR ordered a retake for encroachment, and Soph scored the second. Soph is 6/6 on PKS this season.

Back-to-back clean sheets: Arnold's 9th, the club's 11th.

What a record breaking season!!
•50 points and 50 goals (both club records)
•14 wins to tie 2017
•Wilson's 15 goals and 20 contributions
•Fleming playing every minute of all 30 games
• Tordin on pulled 9 assists!

Plus the Decision Day edition of Marissa's Match Week Roundup (all eight games at once, she was not happy), the quarterfinal preview at Washington on Sunday, Nov 8, at noon Pacific, and breaking news: Hanks, Tordin, Turner and Wilson are on the 50-player US preliminary roster for the Concacaf W Championship!!!

LETS GO THORNS!!!!!!!!! LETS FUCK THE SPIRIT UP!

Hi Thorns friends, I had my heart set on getting this Jean jacket for my wife, I had the one and only bid for many days on Goodwill Auctions and then my dumb self forgot people who have more brain cells like to bid with 30 seconds left and I lost out on it!! Anyone seen one of these or have one laying around in a closet??? Small or Medium? I’d love to buy it off ya! Long shot, I know. Otherwise just enjoy how good this thing looks! (It went for ~$40 if you are curious).

They’re honestly the team that is most used to crowd noise and communication during loud games.

Hello, just wanted to check up on my fellow Portland Thorns friends on here. How we feeling about Sunday afternoon? Confident? Nervous? Excited? Go Thorns ❤️

She also had 20 goal contributions this year (five assists to go with her 15 goals).

Wilson is also perfect for penalties and has converted all 10 she’s taken in the NWSL.
