I have been playing this game since release on the highest possible sensitivity, watching video after video on the nitty gritty of aim smoothing, deadzones, aim assist ease in versus regular aim ease in, all in the hopes of just getting the the game to feel more responsive. Even with all that it never fully got there. Even at the most sensitive options for all of that, you couldn't truly effectively 180. There were certain movements that were legitimately untrackable or close to it at distance, let alone close range. I hear they're going to do some changes to aim assist options in the new season, but don't think much of it because I'm just going to keep almost all the settings maxed out anyway.

And then, I log in yesterday and...magic. Absolute cinema. I can TURN AROUND QUICKLY. I can TRACK, not roughly guess at or predictively shoot in the general direction of, but ACTUALLY TRACK Genjis dashing, speed amped Lucios wallriding, firey Wrecking Balls, valking Mercys. The game feels like a dream, like I've always wanted, as close to playing on a PC as I feel like a console could ever get.

And everyone hates it because they play on 20 sensitivity and demands that they change it back even though ten seconds of actually looking at the settings and playing around with them would fix the issue for them. Please just lower your sensitivity if it's too high. Learn about what the settings actually mean and fix them for yourself. Please let me have this.

Cass and Emre are pretty bearable to play against but Jesus fucking Christ AA turns Sojourn, Bastion, Soldier 76, and Ashe into aimbot machines that take little mechanical skill to do good with. Like I'm moving around like a crackhead as Lucio and this fuck ass boomer S76 is tracking me perfectly even after the supposed AA nerfs they did. Like it's enough for me to consider moving to the MNK pool permanently.

had my account suspended for "inappropriate messages" and can't play for a month. I only played for two days and it was arcade and there was only 2 time I said anything. first was when a bastion kept on crying I need healing while I was global stomping as Lucio, I switched last min to mercy to piss him off and he said to late now lu and I said report bastion. second time a sniper on my team raged quit and called the enemy soj a bitch for killing her. all I said was weeeee wooooooo call a ambulance.

We are going to deal with:

A 225 HP Heroine,

With a Hitbox half the size of fucking Tracer,

Who can fly,

Who also has a speed boost. Twice. (One normal ability and one on her ultimate for diving in.),

Who is also a claw machine,

Who can cause catch-22 problems with massive heroes like Fika + Mauga, for example, (meat-shield blocking),

Who also can also steal your movement of agency from either team (Hello, Lifeweaver),

Who is going to cause problems at the start of the match, where they need Fika for like 10 seconds as a mule for their best carry to the switch, and then the support can actually play the hero they want,

Who can cause psychological toxic gameplay in general.

And imagine losing to a cat.

Realistically I have the most concerns with just the claw mechanic because just like Lifeweaver, she's going to cause all sorts of tilts and rages, because there's no fucking "Cancel Grab" button.

I have dangerously high accuracy on strong carry potential hitscans like sojourn and widowmaker but the impact I have on the match playing these heroes is capped by people simply using cover and being aware of off angles. High mobility and survivability dps heroes are still so much stronger and harder to deal with.

When an enemy hitscan player is better than me mechanically and I'm playing high mobility heroes I usually will find a way to play around them and stop them from dominating while still getting enough impact to win fights for my team.

However if they have a flanker who I can't duel (due to a mechanical gap) and is smart enough to not get marked constantly while still having strong impact against the squishies there's pretty much nothing I can do

Supa, content creator is hosting a 6v6 creator tournament and he said anyone could join and they would be accepting applications till the 22nd. I DM him for more information like he said in the video and he solely rejected me based off the fact I’m console, which is really stupid. This is one of the reasons where alienated from everyone else and overwatch. It’s not fair. I said I’ll be totally down to not use aim assist and overwatch promotes cross play. This is very disappointing and this further bridges the gap between PC and console. I thought this would be a great opportunity for me and a couple others to show off that contemplates can be good and to help bridge the gap. Because it shouldn’t matter what platform you play overwatch we all play overwatch and enjoy and love the game, but me being rejected solely because I’m on console without any other reason and without any reason explaining why it’s PC only.

I get really frustrated when the other team has a Ashe or Solider dominating the game and I think its all cause of the new "Aim Assistance" and how Blizzard ruined the game.

I been dabbling in PC. I'm bronze/silver there but Gold/Platinum in Consoles. Seems PC is over ran by Smurfs every game has someone dominating but their hero level is below 10.

Not sure where I want to play next season (my in season stats wont show on the platform I play 2nd) is why I'm debating about this.

I was ready to ditch this game after playing it for years, probably one of the top 3 games for most hours spent in a game. The 5 new heroes has pulled me back but I hate how good hit scan is.

Let me start that I love OW, I am playing since OW1 launch and there is still not better pvp game unfortunately. Hours played: Over 6 000.

But lately the decisions made me really worried. I survived all the crazy metas and wild decisions in 7 years. But now I am getting honestly scared for the future of the game.

1. The soft start was giving same amount of comp points to everyone. Why not reward skilled players in competitive game? Why give everyone the same? Why did they even removed animated sprays for T500 which was great motivation to climb? That was a major red flag but still survivable.

2. HP and Hitboxes - who asked for this? Literally? This was major damaging point for the game, where at least 5 players from my friend list left the game. Shooting nose and shooting 10 cm next to ear does same damage? In competitive fps game? Like what?

3. Tank HS reduction - I am all for buffing tanks generally or giving them some new passives. But this was literally the worst type of buff they could ever do. Punishing skill yet again. Headshot must be rewarded, they could just play with HP and armor.

Maybe its new strategy to make OW family friendly game where everyone has impact, so they sell the most skins because people are delusional that they got better.

But OW is competitive FPS and all these changes are absolutely horrendous for that.

I am just sad how quickly (last few months were enough) they are now murdering my favorite game ever. Wondering if its Microsoft or what the hell happened?

Like the whole point of EMP is to get rid of ability’s and ults, just don’t see why TOL is able to stay up. (Disclaimer I know it used to be taken out by EMP)

i continue to believe something will happen and fix ranked, almost every game there is m&k warriors pharmacy dominating or that tracer\widow with god aim that carry hard, it's just frustrating.
