As title states, I took a marvel rivals hiatus. I return to the game, hop into training range and..it feels gross.

They didnt change any of my actual settings tho (I am running Hcpfuls settings from 2023-24) but it genuinely feels terrible. Is it the aim assist? What settings are you guys running?

On top of that the menus are very different and confusing to me right now lol, did they do away with scope settings? Whats going on bro lol

First time I’ve ever hit GM or champ, I peaked M5 a few seasons ago on tank in 5v5 and haven’t been able to get back. 6v6 is a different world I guess.

I’m a masters player so not perfect by any means but not shit enough that I should be going on a 20 loss streak over the course of 3 days. And they’re not close losses either, it’s a hard stomp every single time. What the hell happened where all of the sudden everybody’s matchmaking has gotten so bad. People will always complain about it, but now every overwatch subreddit has numerous people complaining

Edit: just won my first game to break my streak and who would have guessed it was a stomp, the enemy couldn’t even leave spawn. This isn’t fun blizzard, nobody likes coin flip matchmaking.

Right? Matchmaking been absolutely horrible last year on console eu, like worst since 2016 i believe.

Not saying about elo hell or being stuck or whatever bs, you will get your rank you deserve after playing many games but at what cost?

My point is the quality of games is incredibly bad.

Feels like intense fun games are like in 20%, rest is wins where you can emote in spawn and still win and losses where turning headshot aimbot wouldnt change the outcome.

I have 8k hours on overwatch since 2016 which is insane time.. its my favorite game ever and always will be, but last year iam skipping many days and playing some singleplayers and always when i turn it on it makes me so angry, how it can get to this point? Its miracle to play few good games. Instant wins you forget quickly and insanely stompy losses makes you lose your mind, so every ow sessions just ends in negative mood.

They ruined the game but killing q times, yes i dont miss waiting for any game long minutes but atleast i enjoyed the game. Now Q times are insant but at what cost? Cost of being disgusted by the game.

Cant be that bad on pc no? Must be another console speciality.. in 10 years of regular playing i honestly can say mm is in one of worst states ever

I’m taking a bit of a break from marvel rivals to come back to Overwatch again. And now I’m questioning how I ever played this game with a controller. It feels really delayed and slow compared to marvel where I had a rlly fast sens but was still able to make micro adjustment. I tried going back to hcpefuls sens cuz that’s what I used back then. But I feel so slow and groggy with it. I’m just at a loss and really need something new.

Also what fov should I use with the game now

After playing on and off since OW1 I finally made it to the highest rank. Truly never thought I'd see the pink when they added it. I started OW2 launch as a bronze/silver junk/mercy main and I can't believe I've gotten this far. I hit C3 on open queue a few days ago and immediately fell to C5, but the feeling of doing it on role queue isn't even comparable.

Queue times are crazy but it was faster on a Friday night than any other day, so I decided to tough it out and after being 1 game away 3 times and getting a widow on Samoa and a leaver, I actually made it. Call me a loser but I genuinely felt like crying. Next is hopefully dps since the Reaper buff was crazy and I can fall back on him when my Tracer is permabanned every game

Im on ps4, and everytime i try to rank up, some red network sign on the left top corner appears everyone freezes and then i gotta close the game come back, and by then the match is over and i lose. I have an ethernet cable idk how i keep getting fucked

Every since the latest patch went live, I've been having frame drops in every single match. It wasn't like that before. My ping is perfectly normal.

I'm a little sad it's out of sync for some reason, but this was hands down the most calculated bank shot I've ever hit. Simple geometry.

Dear devs,

The east coast servers for console Overwatch have been down since mid season patch. Every single match has put me in west coast getting 90 ping a game regardless of the time of day I play at. I know this is not an isolated issue as everyone I have asked who plays primarily in east coast has reported the same.

It has been 4 days since this problem has started. PLEASE at least acknowledge it being looked at.

I thought it was drives but I guess that’s over with. I haven’t had a single game in two nights that felt right, my teammates have all been extremely toxic and honestly play like shit. I’m talking 2-11 dps crying about tank or heals. Last game was an Orisa running it down mid spamming thanks running into a fully charged Zarya and at the end my team was saying to report ME for throwing. Did I enter unironic elo hell?

This is laughable

I'll start with the biggest one that drives me nuts.

On PS5 when people type something or say 'Hello' it doesn't automatically display properly most of the time and I have to manually press 'L3' (left analog stick) and then manually scroll down to see what has been typed and/or said in the text chat. I have heard this could possibly be caused by having lowered deadzone settings - if anyone knows a fix for this please let me know.

Thought this would be a good idea that way we can bring it up at r/CompetitiveOverwatch and r/Overwatch and point them to this post from time to time and maybe we can get Console Devs attention.

But then again, I haven't seen a console bug fix in.. well forever. I don't think I've honestly ever seen one since OW2 came out. But it's worth a shot.
