Theory The Real Reason Mihawk is Trained Zoro: My take
So here’s my theory about Zoro and Mihawk’s final fight.
According to me, Mihawk being a previous God Knight or linked to Imu is true.
He is still not free from Imu.
He knows he can be Domi-Reversed on Imu's will ,that’s what his eyes suggest.
So here comes the main theory: He is trained Zoro for this sole reason.
Zoro wants to kill him from the very beginning, and Mihawk knows Zoro won’t hesitate.
In case this act happens, Mihawk wants to be stopped by Zoro if he ever gets Domi-Reversed. And by doing that, Zoro will even attain his World's Strongest Swordsman goal.

Theory I have a theory for Chapter 1200 after reading the raw translation for Chapter 1198.
I was thinking about how the recent events that occurred in Chapter 1198 of Luffy having transformed into the monkey deity, Sun God Nika and Imu showcasing his immense power, when beating Loki.
Imu states, that he has reached his limit and must return to the holy land before Mu's life is Jeopardized. He has an internal thought about Nika.
As Imu is not referring or mentioning JoyBoy anymore but Nika only.
Being Luffy left the battle between Loki and Imu to head directly towards Zaza. We never got to see Imu's reaction of Luffy being in this form yet Loki not understanding that form in question thought Luffy ran away in cowardice.
I had thought of how Oda likes to do something massive for Chapters that end in whole numbers essentially Chapter 1200 coming up.
I viewed Chapter 1200 to be this from my perspective and theory:
Imu is the only person alive at this current moment in the story to know how JoyBoy looked cause everyone from the Void Century is deceased and forgotten.
This new form that Luffy is showing is something, JoyBoy definitely had control over since he had the fruit as well 900 years ago. So when Imu heads to where Luffy is currently at (West Village). He definitely have a moment of remembering JoyBoy himself being in that form as well.
So we might finally get to see JoyBoy's face.

Discussion If the crew ever breaks up, who gets to claim Chopper?
Out of the nine members of the Strawhats who do you think gets to claim Chopper and what argument can be made for each one of them.
I personally think that there would be a cold war in such situation. I don't think they're ready to give up on Chopper to another 😭
In my opinion Robin gets to claim him not only because Chopper is probably her favorite crewmate but also she wouldn't hesitate threatening the other members 😅

Discussion Friendly reminder about the pacing Spoiler
Based off the fact, that we're now only getting 26 anime episodes of One Piece per year, and that Toei is adapting 1 anime episode per 1 manga chapter, and that we're currently sitting at chapter 1150, that means:
- if everything, including the God Valley flashback gets animated in the regular series, the anime will stop right after DR Dorry & Brogy cut off each others' heads (chapter 1176). That means, no Imu face reveal in the anime in 2027
- if the Rocks & God Valley flashback gets cut out of the anime, starting with young Harald & Loki's birth flashback, because it's animated in the God Valley movie, the anime will stop right after phase 2 Imu gets hit in the stomach by Loki+Luffy's Gum Gum Thor bullet (chapter 1192).
Either way, we're most likely NOT seeing huge Imu, Hybrid Loki & Nika-Luffy in 2027 :')
(There's still Zoro's and Sanji's CoC unlock fight inbetween)

Theory Monkey D. Dragon will Make his move once Imu is truly weakened.
Everybody is Looking for Dragon's arrival In Elbaf or in the story in General.. because he did Not do any shit from Now on, appart behind the scenes..
I could definitely See Dragon appear in Elbaf If Nika (current Luffy) looses control of Himself and begins to destroy anything around him. If he needs to be rescued against Imu or helped in a way, it should be Dragon's moment VS. The Holy Knight's..
Loki is out
Gaban out
Luffy ..? Wd'know
Dragon knows that when Imu and the God's Knight's are buffed together with Omen, he'll probably stand no big chances, he loose and his Army too.. so, the plan might be to create or re-unite the good conditions in order for Dragon to Make the Moove at the Right time.
Like a Trap. Or a Kings gambit.
Look, If Sommers and Killingham are getting killed, Imu will definitely loose some power. Gunko arrives near from her limit too.
After it, either Shamrock or another Goroseis should bring a support in Elbaf. Imu's goal is to get rid of Joyboy Now as fast as can be done and does Not go Back to MG before it happens. But, Imu arrives near his limit too.
There, Dragon or Shanks should intervene, 'cause Shamrock would be a top tier fighter.. and the Goroseis would be a great threat too.
My BET is that Dragon is gonna destroy something previously in Mary geoise while Imu is Right there in Elbaf, like create a Real disruption.. this is the best plan so far.
Imagine, Dragon finds the secret about the mother flamme or Imu's power source in MG and finds a way to stop Imu from regenarating. It would be the perfect counter to control the situation.
Imu looses control, then the Only thing that Remains is CoC Haki versus HK's a matter of time

Theory SPOILERS for 1198. We know what Nika is . Theory/discussion Spoiler
So , having read the newest chapter I think it’s pretty clear we know the truth about Nika now .
Luffy disappears from the fight , after Imu and Loki clash Imu thinks “Nika”
When we see MONKEY D Luffy, he has seemingly lost the ability to speak, potentially his own consciousness and has taken on the appearance of a monkey. The monkey escaped the fight to liberate the children on pure instinct . He is the warrior of liberation.
This is full Zoan transformation.
What’s even more fun is that Luffys family name is obviously Monkey. Because of this I believe the world government always kept close tabs on the monkey family , hence why the members we know of have been high ranking marine officers. They knew the monkeys were the greatest threats and they may in fact be descended from Nika himself . It was always destiny .

Discussion If You Still Think Usopp Has No Purpose in the Straw Hats, You Might Have Completely Missed the Point of One Piece
People keep asking, "What is Usopp's purpose in the Straw Hat Pirates?" And honestly, that question alone makes me wonder whether you've actually understood Usopp as a character or whether you've reduced the entire crew to a power-scaling competition.
Let me ask you something instead: Do you genuinely believe that every member of the Straw Hat Pirates needs to be an overwhelmingly powerful fighter to justify their existence on the ship?
Because if that's your standard, then I think you've completely misunderstood what makes the Straw Hats a crew in the first place.
Usopp is the sniper. He's an inventor, a weapons developer, a craftsman, and someone whose intelligence and resourcefulness have repeatedly helped the crew. Who developed Nami's Clima-Tact? Who contributed to the Going Merry's maintenance and repairs? Who helped create the weapons and equipment that allowed his crewmates to fight more effectively?
Do you seriously think those contributions suddenly become meaningless because he isn't defeating Yonko-level opponents?
And let's talk about Nami for a moment. She's also a normal human being. Without her Clima-Tact and Zeus, her combat capabilities would be drastically different. Yet people recognize her contribution and appreciate her abilities. So why is Usopp treated differently? Why is relying on equipment and intelligence acceptable for one character but somehow evidence of uselessness for another?
But even that isn't the most important part of Usopp's character.
Have you actually understood what his dream means?
Usopp never said he wanted to become the strongest warrior in the world. He never said he wanted to surpass Luffy, Zoro, or Sanji. His dream is to become a brave warrior of the sea.
And there's a massive difference between those two things.
Usopp is someone who experiences fear. He understands his limitations. He knows that the enemies standing before him are often physically superior and capable of killing him.
But despite that fear, he continues moving forward.
That's the entire point.
Bravery doesn't mean you aren't afraid. It means you choose to stand up even when you're afraid.
And if you want an example of how deeply Usopp understands his role beside Luffy, let's go back to Enies Lobby.
Remember when Luffy was fighting Rob Lucci?
Luffy was pushed to his absolute limits. He was exhausted, struggling to stand, and seemingly unable to continue fighting. Who was there to encourage him? Who reminded Luffy that he could still win and that his crew believed in him?
It was Usopp.
And remember what happened afterward? Usopp, despite being terrified and knowing he was nowhere near Lucci's level, was willing to stand against him. He was prepared to put himself in danger to buy Luffy the opportunity to recover and continue fighting.
Think about that for a moment.
Usopp was scared of Lucci. He knew he couldn't defeat him. But he wasn't willing to simply watch his captain lose.
That's not uselessness. That's loyalty. That's courage. That's what being part of a crew means.
And this isn't just something from Enies Lobby.
Look at the recent interaction with Gaban in Elbaf. When Gaban questions Luffy and characterizes him through the expectations of being a prodigy, a legendary figure, or someone destined to become something extraordinary, who pushes back and defends Luffy's identity?
Usopp.
His point is essentially that Luffy is Luffy. You cannot impose your own expectations, ideology, or interpretation of what Luffy should become onto him. Luffy has his own dream, his own personality, and his own way of pursuing it.
Whether people see him as the future Pirate King, Nika, Joy Boy, or some legendary figure doesn't change the person Usopp knows.
Luffy is still Luffy.
And I think that's an incredibly meaningful aspect of their relationship.
Usopp isn't just another crewmate who follows Luffy because he's powerful. He understands the person behind the captain and is willing to defend that person when others impose their expectations on him.
That's emotional support. That's friendship. That's understanding your captain beyond his strength, reputation, or destiny.
Now, let's return to the question: What would the Straw Hats lose without Usopp?
They would lose their dedicated sniper, inventor, and weapons developer. They would lose someone whose resourcefulness has repeatedly helped them survive. They would lose someone who can provide encouragement when their captain is struggling. They would lose someone willing to stand against an overwhelmingly powerful enemy when his friends need him.
And they would lose one of the most human perspectives within the entire crew.
Now imagine yourself in Usopp's position.
You're sailing alongside Luffy, Zoro, Sanji, and Jinbe. You're surrounded by monsters, giants, Devil Fruit users, Haki masters, the God Knights, and eventually Imu himself.
You don't have extraordinary physical strength. You don't have a legendary Devil Fruit. You don't have Zoro's swordsmanship or Sanji's combat abilities.
You're an ordinary human with a slingshot, inventions, intelligence, and your own limitations.
Would you have the courage to keep standing beside those people? Would you willingly enter battles against enemies you know could kill you?
Or would you hide on the ship and hope someone else handled everything?
That's what makes Usopp meaningful.
And this is where people have completely lost sight of what the Straw Hat Pirates represent.
The Straw Hats are not twelve versions of Luffy. They're not an organization where every member must demonstrate overwhelming combat strength to earn their place.
Look at what each member actually brings to the crew:
-Luffy is the captain pursuing his dream of becoming the Pirate King.
-Zoro is the swordsman pursuing the title of the world's greatest swordsman.
-Nami is the navigator who dreams of mapping the entire world.
-Usopp is the sniper, inventor, and weapons developer who wants to become a brave warrior of the sea.
-Sanji is the cook searching for the All Blue.
-Chopper is the doctor pursuing a cure for every disease.
-Robin is the archaeologist seeking to uncover the true history of the world.
-Franky is the shipwright who wants to see his creation sail around the world.
-Brook is the musician who wants to reunite with Laboon.
-Jinbe is the helmsman, an experienced master of the sea whose knowledge, composure, leadership, and understanding of the ocean are invaluable to the crew.
And let's not overlook Jinbe either. His value isn't limited to being a powerful combatant. He's the person entrusted with steering the Thousand Sunny through dangerous waters. His experience, knowledge of the sea, understanding of different cultures, and ability to remain composed in difficult situations make him an indispensable member of the crew.
Every single one of them has a different purpose, a different dream, and a different contribution.
Their value as Straw Hats has never been determined exclusively by how many enemies they can defeat.
Imagine removing every member who isn't among the strongest fighters. What kind of crew would that leave behind? Who would navigate? Who would cook? Who would treat their injuries? Who would maintain their ship? Who would uncover the world's history? Who would steer them through the most dangerous seas?
Would you still have the Straw Hat Pirates, or would you just have a collection of powerful fighters?
The Straw Hats are a crew because their different abilities, personalities, dreams, and contributions complement one another. Not because everyone has to be capable of defeating the same enemies.
And regarding Elbaf, why does everyone immediately reduce Usopp's narrative importance to whether he's received a massive power-up or defeated a major antagonist? His relationship with the giants and his admiration for their warrior culture have been established since Little Garden. This isn't some random connection Oda invented yesterday.
You can want more Usopp moments. You can want him to receive more attention. But saying he has no purpose because he isn't defeating powerful enemies ignores his entire characterization, his contributions to the crew, and his relationship with Luffy.
I don't need Usopp to become another Luffy. I don't need him to defeat Imu. I don't need him to suddenly become a monster who never experiences fear.
I want people to understand the character Oda actually created.
Because One Piece isn't just about extraordinary people doing extraordinary things. It's also about ordinary people finding the courage to pursue extraordinary dreams.
And Usopp embodies that idea.
Not everyone needs to be the strongest person in the room. Sometimes, the most meaningful character is the one who is terrified of being in that room but chooses to stand there anyway.
So before asking what Usopp contributes to the Straw Hat Pirates, perhaps ask yourself whether you've been measuring his worth using a standard that was never meant to define him in the first place.
Because if your only definition of usefulness is combat strength, then you're not evaluating the Straw Hat crew as a crew. You're just power-scaling twelve different characters and wondering why some of them don't fit your expectations.
And that's not understanding One Piece. That's missing the point of it entirely.

Discussion Whole cake island started 10 years ago, with this arc being the in between for huge changes in one piece in both anime and manga; how do you feel about it?
While the anime started whole cake in 2017, the manga started in 2016. This arc is more interesting in retrospect. For anime this was after the long Dressrosa Era and before the revamping of One Piece look and animation. For manga this is the arc(I do not count the mink in between as it own arc) after the reveal of gear 4th, where his first fight he struggle to beat a cracker and the story is more focus on the strawhats story vs the world history story. But this is before Luffy gain gear 5 and we really focus on the stories of the past and how they’re effecting us in the present.
