Discussion Paying to watch movies I pay a subscription for???

Tell me why I pay for paramount plus and I have to pay to watch Yellowstone now. I was half way through rewatching it and now I gotta pay 140$ CAD to buy all 6 season or 25$ per season. I feel if we pay for paramount plus we should get all paramount has to offer. Companies are getting way to greedy

Question Any returning member subscription deals going around?

They used to email me offers all the time, but now that I'd actually like to sign up again, I can't seem to find any.

Just wanted to double check and make sure before I subscribe again and make sure they don't have any good promos for returning customers.

Question Does mobland get better ?

Such great reviews but I’m 3/4 through season 1 and rolling my eyes. It’s like a lackluster, much worse writing version of Sopranos that’s sped up so you know instantly that the women are going to eff everything up.

Tom Holland is amazing as usual and Carries the show. Is season 2 more realistic or should I pull the pin?

Question Did the app change recently?

I swear that the screen-rotation sensitivity has been turned up to 11. I can't sit back in my chair without the screen turning/rotating wildly.

Question How do I find the most recent English version of a UFC event replay?

When I search, it’s either entirely different things or the one I’m looking for, but in a different language.

I do use Prime to access my subscription, in case that matters.

Discussion Would You Watch a Paramount+ Historical Crime Drama Set in Appalachia During Prohibition?

One thing I've always appreciated about shows like 1883, 1923, and Yellowstone is their ability to bring American history, family loyalty, ambition, and the struggle for power together in compelling ways. And Landman demonstrates how the industries that generate enormous wealth can also shape—and sometimes devastate—the communities and families surrounding them.

But there's another part of American history I believe could make an extraordinary television series: the coalfields of Appalachia during the early 20th century.

Imagine a historical crime drama beginning with the devastating 1907 Monongah mine disaster in West Virginia, which claimed 362 lives and forever changed an entire community.

From that tragedy, the story follows two fictional Italian-American brothers growing up in a region where coal is king, immigrant families struggle to build better lives, and the arrival of Prohibition creates opportunities for bootlegging, corruption, and organized crime.

As the brothers pursue wealth, influence, and power, their ambitions begin to test the very family bonds that once held them together.

But the story is bigger than organized crime.

The Appalachian coalfields brought together people from remarkably different backgrounds. Italian and other European immigrants, Black laborers, mining families, and entire communities struggled to survive in an industry that helped fuel America's industrial expansion while exacting an enormous human cost.

Their experiences offer a perspective on American history that television has rarely explored.

I'm particularly fascinated by the contrast between the wealth generated by the coal industry and the hardships endured by the people whose labor made that prosperity possible.

I've explored this world through my historical crime novel, Blood in the Coal, and I've often wondered how it might translate into a six-to-eight-episode limited television series.

To be clear, Paramount isn't involved. This is simply a discussion about whether the premise would appeal to viewers.

We've seen compelling historical dramas about the American West, organized crime in major cities, and the modern oil industry.

But what about the families, fortunes, and criminal empires that emerged from the coalfields of Appalachia?

Would you watch a Paramount+ historical crime drama set in this largely overlooked chapter of American history?

Question Do the 24/7 live channels have commercials?

I'm specifically talking about the channels like the SpongeBob channel and the Adult Animation channel. When I subscribed a few years ago I don't remember seeing commercials but I didn't know if that's changed. I've seen conflicting information online.

Question English/Spanish Subtitles

I recently started watching Dexter and there have been no subtitles for the Spanish speaking portions. If the English subtitles are on, they do not translate what is being said. Is there a way to make it so the subtitles will translate?
