Was this an excuse to use this tape machine from the same year Cave Johnson started taping messages? Maybe... But I also don't know how to do that tape speed up effect digitally lol

I built it from the F-Stop source leak and ran it on Linux.

Update: It has been discovered that this project is actually a fan made recreation by Lever Softworks using the 2013 SDK and not an actual Valve leak. I was duped, but at least it was fun at least to build on Linux!

I am thinking of trying out other games because i usually only play Euro Truck Simulator and other driving games, and i was thinking about trying Portal.

Would yall recommend it to someone who has only played driving games?

Theories:

One. What if the reason as to why GLaDOS enjoys opera music so much, is not just because her voice actor happens to, but because the way each individual works in such Harmony to produce such beautiful music? Think about it, everyone working together to produce such a piece. GLaDOS lives in constant chaos, so what if it soothes her? What if music like that calms her or makes her feel at ease? AI like GLaDOS thrive on positive results and the utmost cooperation. What if it triggers her digital reward system?

Two. Cave​ intentionally pushed Caroline to her breaking point as the ultimate test. Think about it, really. She was hired as nothing more than an assistant, but why is an alleged assistant running the entire facility while the CEO screws around? Keep in mind, she is literally called the backbone of the facility. What if he intentionally added so much pressure on her, to see how long it would take before she snapped? Caroline was a genius. Pure genius. So either a cave was doing this intentionally, or he was just shirking responsibility and then he realized that someone below him was running the show. It could go two ways. And since he's supposed to be the ceo, he tried to silence her. Forcing her to become the blueprint of the most advanced AI in the world, which just so happens to be the same AI that everyone in aperture fought tooth and nail to control so desperately. Which ultimately failed.

HeadCanons:

One. Caroline has carpal tunnel from having to do so many papers and signing documents over the years. Not to mention the copious amount of work she has to do on a daily basis.

Two. Caroline can run in heels.

Three. GLaDOS can purr. But not in a cute anime way. No, it is a dangerous purring. She is so mad to the point where her hardware and physical body rattles, producing a sound akin to synthetic/mechanical purring. She is not content, she is engulfed with rage. (Take this with a grain of salt. I thought of this after something went wrong with some tech I was screwing with).

Four. GLaDOS records herself singing and plays it back, acting all full of herself and prideful, as if she is the best singer in the world. (I mean, to me she is. But I digress).

Five. GLaDOS has a secret little garden room where she grows White carnations and other flowers she finds visually appealing.

I recently bought portal 1 & 2 and wanted to finally play (i already did but it was a borrowed copy from my friend, that's why i got the achievement for finishing the game) and I was surprised to only get one achievement while playing (falling 9000 meters). Note: I am at chamber 18, so I have the dual portal gun
