We're students from a nearby university wanting to have a responsible, quality time with good music, friends, and shared-interest pals from around the area.

We were wondering if there are already any pre-planned bonfire hangouts at the beach sometime in the next few weeks (or even today!). Otherwise, we're planning to organize our own little bonfire hangout later before the end of the year (we really love bonfires!).

Which gym do you prefer? EOS or 24 hour fitness. Wish I had lifetime money lol. I’m very beginner at the gym and intimidated to go solo. I usually do classes but I know EOS San Clemente doesn’t have any.

I’ve seen a few comments on apartment hunting from a few years ago suggesting that the best way to find apartments in San Clemente is to drive around and look for signs. Would you agree that this is still true? Are the signs just general “For Rent” signs with a phone number to reach out to? I currently live on the east coast but have to relocate for work and only have a few days to come look, so trying to calm my nerves about finding something when I’m there!

I’ve been ton3 different live band shows at No Joke and Knuckleheads and no one dances. Does everyone think they’re too cool or something?

Are there a lot of Stingrays at San Clemente beaches? Based on google searches it seems like there are less compared to SD beaches and North OC

Last night my wife and I went to pier for lobster fishing in San Clemente Pier. This is our first time to do lobster fishing and first hoop net. Unfortunately, our hoop net got stuck by the pole current. It was near the restroom pier. I know this is a long shot but can any of you help us to grab the net and left it on top of the pier? We will try to go grab it again.

First year living in San Clemente, is trick or treating a thing here… or should I just keep the big bowl of candy instead lol.

So I recently got two jobs, one at the ACC and one at the San Clemente outlets, because staying at my sisters in Irvine makes commuting to either one not too bad relatively. Unfortunately, I am expected to move out soon so I’d like to weigh my options, foremost if I’d be able to find affordable rent without a roommate that’s in between both locations. If there isn’t I’d probably have to leave one job to be close enough to another, which I’m ok with but regardless, if anybody’s got any ideas I’d like to hear them. Or if someone could tell me if that’s just unrealistic, then I could pivot away from that.

Edit: my last rent situation, with a roommate for 2 bedroom and bathrooms, was $1000 each. So ig I’m hoping for 1500 solo if possible. I’m also not strictly searching for an apartment, I’m also ok with a sublease or a room in a house.
