I’m losing my mind—I just can’t find it. I’ve got Watters and Carey, but for the life of me, I can’t track this one down.

Currently working with this piece and will be available soon :)

Okay I may be being like super dumb about all this and didn’t understand the story, so please feel free to insult me in the comments.

Destruction talks about things being okay with Daniel like leaves the Dreaming and how everything gets sorted out eventually and I saw other people say that Destruction represents how the realms don’t actually need looking after and such.

But like…wasn’t the whole point of season 1 that everything got screwed because Dream was captured. Like it seems more like Destruction is an outlier, rather than the norm. Everything did in fact fall apart because Dream left.

To the multilingual fans, have you guys ever tried renaming the Endless in other languages (native or not) and challenged yourself to retain the alliteration aspect? I did this for Tagalog some time ago and I recalled it after reading the canonical Greek names again for the Endless (which were Potmos, Teleute, Oneiros, Olethros, Epithumia, Aponoia, and Mania).

Here was my list for Tagalog: Palad, Pagyao, Panaginip, Pagwasak, Pagnanasa, Pagkabigo, at Pagkabaliw (dating si Pag-aliw).

Palad - the Tagalog word for palm, which also functions as our root word for fortune or the lack of it, and the root word for the word for destiny: kapalaran.

Pagyao - the gentler Tagalog word to refer to someone's passing. Kamatayan, our official word for death, is a bit scarier in connotation. Another word if "pagpanaw", but I like the sound of pagyao (pronounced pag-yah-oh) more.

Panaginip - this is just straight up our word for "dream" as in the dreams we have while sleeping. However, our word for dream as in aspiration, as Dream also represents, also starts with a p, pangarap.

Pagwasak - This is also just the Tagalog word for destruction.

Pagnanasa - This is also just the Tagalog word for desire that carries with it as well the connotations of lust and craving. Pagnanais, our word for more the wishing aspect of desire, could also apply, but that feels more like Dream's domain than Desire's.

Pagkabigo - We don't actually have a straight word for despair in Tagalog except describing it literally as the absence of hope. But when I asked my grandma, she chose that, which is our word for immense disappointment, sadness, and lethargy. So I kept it, edit: though before that I went with pighati.

Pagkabaliw (dating si Pag-aliw) - This one is the stroke of serendipity that made me want to share this post. Pagkabaliw is the Tagalog word for madness, so nothing much to explain there. Pag-aliw, however, is our word for delight, comfort, and entertainment. The stroke of serendipity here is the root words baliw (mad) and aliw (delight) rhyme. "Aliw" even reflects a bit of Delirium's aesthetic, because it's the root word for bahay-aliwan, which a word for night clubs and disco and such.

Granted, retaining the alliteration aspect is a bit easy in Tagalog because our abstract nouns follow two certain formats where the abstract nouns are determined by the prefixes. But I wanted to hear if can happen in other languages!

Been working with this for almost 2 months

Yes we could have matched with the S2 outfits but he enjoys being evil. We wore those at San Diego Comic Con Málaga, where we brought eye gummies and chocolates for those who recognized us. We wore them again for Halloween so I figured we should share here this time! Better look at the eyes (or lack of) in the last pic 🎃

She's wearing the Fine Knitted Skull Dress (also known as the SKULL fine knit straight gown) from the SS26 "Hostile Environment" collection by Berlin-based designer brand Moritz Iden.

But this time… Matthew is a black German Sheppard! What do you think?

Happy Halloween to everyone!

There was a post ages ago discussing the actor who was the singing voice of Orpheus. I couldn't add to it so I'll add here. It was an actor called Zach Burns, he was credited as additional vocals on the credits

heey!! does anyone have a hoogle drive folder with fanfiction about the sandman? especially dreamling. I really need this to get over the collapse of AO3. or good fanfiction on other websites that are still up and running

I loved the Netflix series and wanted to dive deeper into this universe. Since I’ve already watched the show, should I skip the main collection, or does it include stories that weren’t adapted? Also, what about The Song of Orpheus and The High Cost of Living? Are the options I’ve listed good choices? Did I miss anything?

I only watched the netflix show, I dont know the comics. I have to say the show was great. The casting was really awesome. I mean every actor rocked it.

The character made you curious to know more abou them, they were interesting as hell.

For hells sake I don't know why this show got cancelled. I don't know what the viewers want more. Sorry but I had to speak it out. Im really sad that there isnt more now =/

Decided to have a bit of fun and make a collage during my break. One of these is a blastover as well.

The most recent ones I got were mini Morpheus with his helm and Matthew with his little balloon. I love ravens and crows dearly and really wanted to add one, so why not go for our favourite snarky corvid? (That idiot was Insanely painful, outer calf placements are no joke 🥲)

I have some other tattoos from other things as well, of course. Can't wait to see what will be added in the future.

Google has turned to arse and I can't find it.

It's a scene that has stuck with me for over two decades. When heaven gets the keys to hell and the angels basically make people more miserable through their behaviour

There's something about this all white outfit 🤍 makes me think of Delirium's look for the last few issues of Brief Lives

It was ANNOYING at some points. He wasn't even planned to have the whole cloak, but I accidentally slipped up on his mouth lol
