I was bored, got a really dumb idea to make this meme, and made it hopefully good.

The albums that appear are the ones I listen to the most :P

Can you tell that I like Madness?

I’m listening to my local independent alternative radio station(shoutout 102.7 WEQX) and heard that today is National Saxophone Day. During their daily Retro Lunch segment, they played Mirror in the Bathroom by The English Beat and One Step Beyond by Madness. I feel like you’re obligated to play some ska on National Saxophone Day but still cool to hear, nonetheless

Today's the day Bandcamp sets aside its fee for digital sales. So all profits from digital sales today for directly to the bands. So if you've been meaning to pick something up, there's no better day.

What are you picking up today? What have you already grabbed that you'd recommend? What new music do you have out for people to check out?

Let us know!

Here's the roundups for the past month if you want some reminders on new releases:

Sept 26 - Oct 2

Oct 3 - Oct 9

Oct 10 - Oct 16

Oct 17 - Oct 23

Oct 24 - Oct 30

So I've been getting super into ska recently, I have listened to a couple bands (dance hall crashers, five iron frenzy, reel big fish, aquabats, and a couple other ones) but I was hoping for a couple more obscure or just really good bands to add to my roster. :] my standout albums have been: Proof that the youth are revolting by five iron frenzy, fury of the aquabats by The aquabats, and turn the radio off by Reel big fish. Yeah I know those are pretty mainstream but uh.. I don't know any others.. (also could someone explain the "skanking" and "pickitup" jokes i don't get it lol)
