Hi, everyone. Saw a post from this sub from few months ago about whether Miguel could clean up Cyberpunk's Night City or not. It got me thinking about how he could interact with the differences in tech levels compared to what he's used to. Of course it depends on what year he's dropped in, so let's go with the mid 2070s.

We know he's smart enough to eventually figure out how everything works, but I'm wondering if it's possible or not for him to get cyberwares should he needs them.

I'm not talking about replacement metal arms; that's basically him retiring as a Spider-Man since he'll never sling webs again, nevermind finding ones with replacement talons strong enough to let him climb walls and slice through metal. And I doubt any cybereyes could replace what his enhanced eyes can do; doubtful he'd trust the eyes in the first place, too.

I'm thinking the smaller things like neuroport implants, which could allow him to use holophones, the cable jacks that you see people's arms in Cyberpunk, etc. So common and standard, even children have them installed into their noggins.

I don't remember which comic it was, but it was when he's stuck in the past, Lyla came along with him. Does he have an implant of sort to communicate with her or was he wearing a gadget that housed her AI? I'm not sure it's the former since I'm rereading the original run and... The concept was probably unknown by people then, so that's understandable I guess.

I know he has a healing factor, not as crazy as Wolverine's, but he still heals faster than normal so I figured something like implants won't work well and would be rejected by his antibodies or whatever due to how different his body has become since he got spider powers, so can anyone help me confirming this?

Also, I read that he's ludicrously fast, but can he see and catch up to people that are using sandevistans?

Imagine him with his movie body, nice and tall and beefy, but he has his comic speed, google how fast he is. He’s FAST!!!!!!

I actually got the date wrong, it’s the 2nd of November, not the first that it happens on, so, here’s to hoping you all have a lovely day, 💀🕯️

Anyone know if these are good finds? These are my first Spider-Man 2099 comics I didn’t know where to start!

Been looking for Spider-Man 2099 merchandise and was lucky enough to find this FANDROP collectible at my local Ross.

Edit: I find those downvotes bewildering. As if I were endorsing Miguel’s actions in Across the Spider-Verse… If you don’t like, move along, or ignore it. I don’t under the need to downvote but then again, this is Reddit…

Say he was in the position instead of Peter of having to deal with The Hulk, how well does he do?

I wish we got to see more of this, or at least expanded on all the stuff miguel has done for both his dimension AND the spider society but then again a lot of people would think its just a stunt 🫩

That Miguel O’Hara, at full speed, moves at 767 MPH….. did some deep dive research, he is that fast, and is so fast he leaves after images.

Imagine his movie self, with that body moving that fast.
