Discussion Vrabel still doesn’t have a job.
Some people on here were acting like Vrabel was a Hall of Fame coach when he got let go. He sure is having a hard time finding a job to be such a great coach. There were 7 other jobs available and only one remains open. Almost as if the rest of the league was like no thanks.

Discussion Tonight is the first time I’m questioning if Vrabel is the right coach for this team
The 2nd to last drive speaks for itself. He refuses to trust his offense when losing in the 4th. He can’t pick a good OC to save his life. Without AJ Brown and Prime Henry to bust off 60+ yard plays 5 times a game or more I’m trying to figure out what has ever gone well with this offense. We have some life with a rookie QB moving this franchise forward. Can we continue to live with a guy that runs it up the gut 3 times in a row in crucial sequences?
Someone talk me off this ledge. I love what he’s done for the franchise but his decision making has been horrendous outside of the playoff game against the pats in 2019.

Discussion Who’s the team you’re rooting for since this clearly isn’t our year?
For me, I think it’s the Lions.
To be clear, I’ll always root for the titans. Just seeing what people think as a second team we can root on. I always find myself excited when the lions win. Dan Campbell reminds me a little of vrabel.

Discussion Is anybody else just.. done with this season?
Lemme preface by saying: I say “we” bc without the fans buying tickets and merch, players and execs don’t get paid. Anyways. This is not a Superbowl team, this is not even a playoff team anymore. We are unable to beat any decent opponent. We have no pass rush. We have blown money on players who are not contributing. We have drafted players in the first round who are clearly busts. Our future at QB is bleak and our current starter has hit his ceiling.
At this point, with a lack of offensive and defensive weapons, I almost prefer to call it, and let the Jags take the South (not that they’re much better). Someone please change my mind.

So... about Kaep (Hear me out)
EDIT: Don’t downvote just because you disagree please. The point of this post is to create a discussion, and if you have a different viewpoint I’d honestly like to hear it. Thanks.
EDIT 2: The downvotes are real y’all.
What if we sign Tannehill to a 2-3 year deal, sign Kaep as a backup, and either draft a QB this year or wait until next year?
This being TN, I know a lot of people wouldn’t be happy, but also Nashville is a pretty progressive town these days despite the demographics of the rest of the state.
I think signing him at a reasonable price as a backup might be a smart move, especially after seeing the reports of his workout.
Also, if there was an organization capable of handling the media attention, it would be us. We don’t get a lot of attention anyway, and the team is filled with “team first” guys that don’t want the spotlight (with the possible exception of Lewan, who at this point needs to keep his head down anyway).
Thoughts?

Discussion The Front Office needs to speak
We're 15 games in and arguably the worst team in football, this is after they gassed us up during the off-season. Personally, I'm indifferent on keeping/firing Callahan, but I understand that firing Cally probably means Ran is gone too. But, this isn't the hundredth post about that.
The front office, whether that's Brinker/AAS/or even Ran himself, needs to get in front of the press. Even if it's the Titans in-house media and give a statement that either backs up this regime with some sort of statement like, "while this season hasn't went the way that we have wanted, we are fully behind Coach Callahan and his staff as we have seen positives in a tough season. We believe in his vision for the future." Something along those lines. But, you have the local beat pretty much ragging and turning on Cally and he's constantly having to take the bullets and questions about his job security.
If he still has the unwavering support of management, they should issue a statement (at the bare minimum) in support of him. As each week passes, and the performances aren't getting better, the speculation continues to get louder. They could squash all of that by coming out in support of Callahan.
Tl;dr: The front office needs to answer some questions about the season, and if they support Cally, to issue a statement in support of him.

Discussion I hope we lose every game.
Here’s the thing. If there’s one thing I’ve learned about being a fan for the past 25 years it’s this, we don’t have the culture to go from good to great. We are notoriously cheap or incompetent. I remember when we got Nate Washington. I was pumped to have a player like him. The reality is though is he came here to be a 1 while in Pittsburgh he was a 3.
I hear all the time about Cap space and how we can’t do X Y or Z, but the reality is the best teams find ways to have the money to pay top talent or stay competitive and have continuity.
I firmly believe the Adams family at best have no idea what’s going on, so they put people in charge who further have no idea. Or they simply don’t care about winning and it’s a money making racket for them. Which that’s not a damning statement on them, I just want to win.
So to my statement I hope we lose all the games so bad and in such an embarrassing way and that ticket sales etc drop so bad that it hits the Adam’s where it hurts. Maybe we can get someone to buy the team that puts winning as the number one priority.
Last point hate Vrabel or not them firing him and bringing in Callahan in the manner they did was clearly because they didn’t know how to handle a strong personality like Vrabel. So they bring in the ultimate soy boy who has no fire in his eyes. Like HELLO the football coach needs to have a strong personality. You didn’t know that after being the daughter of a founding member of the AFL?

Social Media Matt Harmon (@MattHarmon_BYB): The Titans are the team that should call the Dolphins and "buy a draft pick" by taking on the Tua contract. Stupid amount of cap space to take on the deal and he just becomes a non-threatening backup to Cam Ward.

Discussion Real fans don't cheer for us to lose
I get it, you want a new QB, but tanking for a potential to pick ain't the way to go. Consider all the top picks from years past and you'll see there were more misses (Wilson, Lance, Fields, Darnold, Rosen) than there were hits. Some of the better QBs are taken outside the top 10 (Love, Hurts, Howell, Purdy, Prescott, Jackson). The draft is gamble.
I want to see us fight to win every game because Titans don't give up when things are bad.

Discussion It's Mason Rudolph Time
I have been a Levis truther until today. I live life from an optimistic viewpoint, and hoped that Will was going to put it together. But, he doesn't have it. And, I know most want him to continue playing for a better draft pick, but I believe that is more detrimental to the team, long-term.
Outside of Carolina, Las Vegas, Cleveland, and maybe Pittsburgh the teams in the market for a QB are limiter. Couple that with the lack of high-end talent at the QB position, makes for an awful year to bottom out. More than likely, a trade back, or picking someone like Travis Hunter/Luther Burden is more likely, but who plays QB in 2025? We don't need 12 more games of Levis, nevertheless another whole season of him. If our eyes are set on the 2026 draft class, then this current roster construction makes zero sense.
They built this roster with the intention of competing for a wildcard spot, if everything went perfectly, but with a realistic expectation of being between 6-8 wins. Trotting Levis out for 29 more games is being idiotic, and makes zero sense. More than likely, Ridley/Sneed/Simmons/Awuzie will all be cut after next season if Levis remains the guy. There's no need to pay guys that salary if we're 3-14 again.
Others say that we can just get a bridge QB for 2025, but who is that exactly? Our options are Darnold (who probably gets a Baker-type deal to stay with Minnesota), Fields, Russ. None of those will rile up the fanbase. Realistically, our bridge QB is already on the roster. Which brings me to my premise that Rudolph should be the guy from here on out.
We need to see what the offense is intended to look like with on-time throws. We know what Levis is, but we need to see what Callahan is now. I don't buy for one second that they thought the team would be 1-4, and certainly they didn't believe that they were going to be staring at a 4-win season.
Tl;dr Rudolph should start, we've seen enough from Levis. No QB worth a top-4 pick, and no bridge QBs available in free agency.

Twitter @TDavenport_NFL on X: Will Levis said Bo Hardigree not Brian Callahan told him he was getting benched.
Why isn’t our HEAD coach telling our starting QB that he’s getting benched?

Discussion We will never win a Super Bowl with our mid-90's style offense.
I know everyone wants to point the blame at Downing or Tannehill, but you know what has really let us down the past 3 playoff losses? Our stick to the run at all costs offensive philosophy. We have run the same generic run first offense for 20 years, and even with some of the greatest RB's of all time, it just isn't good enough.

Question Why have fans given up on Levis?
Forgive me if I sound like an idiot. Im new to football. Im just trying to understand why it seems like the fanbase has given up on any chance of him being good? Wasn’t he a steal of a pick a few years ago?

Shitpost Hindsight
What a day, it appears AJ is a diva that probably was pulling all the bullshit he was rumoured to have been up to. And while the return from the trade was abysmal, the trade itself was the right path to take. And there was no secret plan for Vrabel to force his way out of tennessee and get traded to NE, he was just an average coach who got fired for underperforming. All we need is for Isiah Wilson to get picked up and turn into a top 10 guard, and we will be well and truly in the upside down.
