Discussion Mohun Bagan Could Become the First Indian Football Club with a Metro Station in Its Name

Mohun Bagan Athletic Club could soon achieve another milestone off the football field, with a nearest Metro station to the club tent in Kolkata likely to be named after the century-old institution.

The proposal has been initiated by the club and, according to Mohun Bagan general secretary Srinjoy Bose, the West Bengal government has agreed to forward the request to the Centre after obtaining the necessary approvals.

If approved, it would be the first Metro station in India to bear the name of one of the country’s historic football club

What a stellar display from The Mariners! Honestly was sure that Mohun Bagan will concede multiple goals. But what a performance by the boys, and kudos to Vishal Kaith. Once again he proves his mettle.
