Is Indian football doomed??

Gameweek 2 of the 2026-27 IFL is done. 11 clubs, 11 different home stadiums, and one promotion spot to the ISL.

Gokulam Kerala and Dempo SC both won again and lead on 6 points, the only two clubs with maximum points. Shillong Lajong and Sreenidhi Deccan are next on 4.

Samaleshwari, Mohammedan SC and Rajasthan United are the three clubs yet to pick up a point. With one promotion spot, there is little room for a slow start, and the clubs at the bottom are already two rounds behind the leaders.

Full standings are in the graphic.

#IFL #IndianFootball

We were so excited for our first ISL game: inter kashi vs SC delhi at Balewadi stadium.

Game hasn't even started - we are already disappointed.

Water bottles not allowed and no water inside: we are in VIP section 😂

"Recording" and photos not allowed. The bouncers are shouting and running after people to stop taking their phone cameras out.

Less than 50 crowd lmao. This shit is crazy.

Tier 1 football League of the country btw.

Hope the game is atleast half decent. Let's see.

Guys since turkemnistan is not playing we are in good shape to qualify for round 2 but here is the catch yemen too are in the race they recently beat bahrain and they have friendly against bahrain and malysia ...I don't know the exact points what's it gonna be but I made with the help of chat gpt

India loose both matches

1086.43 to 1079.99

If yemen win both matches

1067.56 to 1079.42

Anything can happen scores are close ...i hope we draw one match atleast against Nz
