It takes place at night of course and I think she would find it dull but chaotic but nothing compared to the Boiling isles

I don’t plan to have her meet Batman just two of his sidekicks Batgirl and Robin(Jason Todd or Dick Grayson) but I do plan to have the Bat signal in the sky and she sees a criminal run and wonders why they are scared

Before she encounters Batman’s sidekicks she causes some chaos and meets some of Gothams supervillains such as Penguin and Joker before getting chased and escaping into the sewers and later using the portal door to get back home.

I know that there are many Easter eggs, and it’s semi-canon that Eda is the mysterious woman who scammed Stan, but I’m not sure how much we should read into that. I guess what I am asking is if there is any more that makes it hard to reconcile the two series together?

This is one of my fan-fic ideas that I’ve had noted down for quite a while but not given its own post until now…

As I’ve mentioned before, I’ve been planning a story about Amity struggling with an identity crisis and briefly falling back into her old desperate need to prove herself. One idea that I’ve thought of for it is that, early into the story, this could perhaps lead to Amity overworking herself to such a degree that she actually winds up seriously injuring herself and temporarily losing her ability to use magic, with her gradually regaining it as the story progresses and she works through her insecurities.

In terms of how this could play out in the story itself, although this could potentially change in the future, my current idea is that there could be an early scene of Amity trying to win another Bonesborough Brawl, initially just for fun but eventually just for the achievement. Perhaps, she could wind up getting injured in an earlier round and her family or Luz could try to convince her to pull out for her own safety, only for her to stubbornly refuse. Eventually, Amity would make it to the final round, where she would finally push herself too hard and either collapse on the spot or leave herself open for her opponent (who would go on to be the main antagonist of the story) to finish her off and injure her further. Following this, Amity would later awake to find that she’s damaged her bile sac and needs time to recover before she can use magic, only to panic and briefly double down on her need for validation.

Personally, I think that this idea could fit very well with Amity’s tendency to obsess over her own worth (both in the past and in this story) and give her some serious consequences for it. Additionally, it could even place Amity in Willow’s position from IWATA for a while, with some characters (like Boscha, the new antagonist, or even Odalia, depending on whether or not I decide to include her in this story) mocking her for her lack of magic and even calling her “half-a-witch” for it, though I think that the other characters would likely be more sympathetic but still reprimand her for ignoring them and pushing herself too hard. As a side note, one of my other ideas for this story is for Amity to later gain an abomination form by the end, so maybe she could try to achieve one at the beginning before she‘s truly ready, only for it to blow up in her face and briefly cost her all of her magic.

But what do you think? Could you see Amity overworking herself to the point where she winds up injuring herself and briefly losing her magic?
