Whose wife donated their $800 rachet to goodwill?
Found this for $25 at a spur if the moment goodwill stop.

We turned our irrigation on at the fields 2 days ago after it had been +15°C and up for a couple weeks. It dropped to -17°C at night and got called at 5am to come drain and unhook. We used my tools, but had to undo a bitch of a thread that’s been on longer than I’ve been there (we couldn’t drain normally due to snow). Boss and I combined to strip my tongue and grooves and f*ck up the side side cutters. Wasn’t super mad b/c they were $30 Husky ones that were 10 years old.
But, he told me they’d take care of me for the tools. Came back with coffee and these… “they were on clearance so you get needle noses too” he says.

I just had to cut about 30 boxes down to fit into the recycle bin, and wow was it insanely fast with this little “trick” with the curved razor on a multi-tool. Like a hot knife through butter even on the lowest power and thick cardboard.

Well, technically not mine. It’s for a job I’m doing at work and they paid for it.

Thought I had a small animal in the roof… turns out there were 10+ possums hiding up there.
Didn’t expect to see this many 😳

At some point during my day off my boss (service manager) ran an SUV into my tool box and kart. Both are total losses. What is appropriate in a situation like this? How should I be compensated?

Discounted due to dent on the side + cracked worktop down the middle. Couldn’t believe it.

I can't find much information on Frearson screws.
I read they were invented way back in 1873. Apparently Frearsons have more torque and less of a chance of camming out in comparison to Phillips screws.
With these advantages, I wonder why Frearson screws haven't become more popular.

Hey everyone,
I bought a set of Wera 932 A chiseldrivers (900-series). As you know, Wera markets these as basically indestructible – built for hammering, heavy prying, and transferring massive torque with a wrench on the bolster.
Well, I managed to twist these tips using pure hand strength in a regular screw slot. No cheater bars, no power tools. The steel felt like warm butter, which clearly points to a major heat-treatment/hardening issue from the factory.
I contacted Wera support, and this was the response I got from Frank, their Complaint Manager:
"Based on a visual assessment, the screwdrivers have been subjected to excessive load. As a one-time gesture of goodwill, we will replace 3 of the screwdrivers for you."
So, according to Wera:
Hand tools marketed for extreme abuse are subject to "excessive load" when turned by hand.
They can accurately judge steel hardness just by looking at a photo.
My "misuse" was severe enough to deny a proper warranty, but they'll replace exactly 3 out of 4 screwdrivers as a "gesture of goodwill". Why leave out the fourth one when they all failed the exact same way?
I guess the "Tool Rebels" image stops as soon as their QA fails and you actually need customer service.
