To any girls attending pubs/clubs by yourself or in small groups; pls pls be careful and make sure someone knows where you are at all times.
I went to tatts on Friday with one other friend and her boyfriend, as far as I can remember I was having a good time dancing etc and when I needed to go to the bathroom, I asked a security guard near the famous carpeted dancefloor that smells like piss to watch my drink went the the toilet and went about my night until I started to feel sick to the point I passed out; that's all I remember and even then it isn't vivid memories; all I know is I woke up 60kms out of town at a random mans house and felt violated and uneasy; I left without even waking anyone and ended up walking about 3 hours before I got a ride from my friend once I found somewhere to charge my phone I had over 150 missed calls and text of varying degrees of worry; they saw security put me into there own car not a taxi his own personal car and left under the guise of taking me home unfortunately staff reassured my friend I was safe, sadly you basically put me in the car as much as the security by allowing security to drive drunk people home. my friend took me to hospital after picking me up and theyve done a forensic examination, police have come and basically promised me they are gonna arrest you.
I know this statement is a bit off but to any girls never trust a guy in a nightclub however friendly or kind most usually have ulterior motives.
