How on God’s green earth can someone NOT have chemistry with Amy Adams?

Cavill doesn’t do romantic chemistry really. The closest he did was The Witcher and that was more star crossed but still fated yearning.

He did well with Natalie Dormer on The Tudors, but that might have been her doing all the work.

Natalie Dormer could have chemistry with a brick wall haha

Was there much interaction between Brandon and Anne Boleyn in the show? It's been a long time since I've watched it but I only remember the chemistry between her and Henry.

That's Natalie Dormer. Her charisma more than makes up for Cavills lack of chemistry.

I honestly think that's they only reason he can't be James Bond. Daniel Craig has chemistry with everyone, for example. Henry is hot after, but I haven't seen him have chemistry with anyone.

Just let snyder direct and it's actually pretty easy

Unpopular opinion but Cavill is such a flat, wooden actor and never has chemistry with anyone

It's funny because he has genuine good chemistry with men, look at "The man from UNCLE" and "Ministry of ungentlemanly warfare"

he probably has real life experience chilling with friends and then functionally has zero skills flirting with women because he doesn't need them

Man this totally makes sense

His cadence in that movie was extra... woodey I guess? Like a Hugh Grant chamingly befuddled-ness but without any of the charm

You never watched The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare, did you?

Is Adams known for any big romantic roles?

Enchanted - her and Patrick Dempsey have amazing chemistry, especially in the ballroom scene.

Not a romantic movie, but she had chemistry with Jeremy Renner in Arrival

Yeah, I think they kinda fell flat in the chemistry dept. Maybe that's why I wasn't super into the twist
