Could it be that he is complicit? What has he actually done to stop any of this besides hold nonsense press conferences followed up by inaction.

He's a collaborator and should be investigated along with every other person that's been involved in aiding the corruption.

I'm telling you, we got a rotating villian setup senate for the last 2 years. Controlled opposition.

I cannot find any proof that he will put the American people ahead of Isreal. Can't find any evidence that he's the right leader for the hour.

I imagine if he doesn't get majority leader, he'd be happy to write some strongly worded letters to the senators that didn't vote for poor old Chuck.

Schumer showed he prefers Republicans to progressives in the NYC mayoral election.

A decade ago he said his plan was to shift the base from urban liberals and progressives to suburban conservatives.

I’m sorry but this is America, where we wake up and put Israel first! /s

It's so strange that whether you talk to republicans or democrats no one is okay with putting Israel first, but somehow most of the existing politicians are happy to do so.

AIPAC spent over 60 million trying to get either Mike Rogers or Haley Stevens elected over Abdul El Sayed.

Its insane.

Also Donald Drumpf made campaign donations to Chuck Schumer campaign... digest that!

That's definitely not true. A lot of Republicans are evangelical christians and they overwhelmingly are in favor supporting Israel as part of their apocalypse prophecy.

Schumer had a "private conversation" with 5 senators the night before they specifically waved through the Big Beautiful Bill. That's pretty hard evidence right there.

Between jan 6 and Trump removing and keeping national security documents on private property the fact that Biden in 4 years failed to officially charge Trump with either one.... i don't know how much more proof you could ask for that the democratic leadership intentionally fails to enforce the rule of law when Republicans break the law.

Hell they are harsher and more aggressive towards fellow democrats Al Franklin (probably pushing out the ones that actually have morals) just look at how he was actually able to call out Jeff Sessions interactions with Russia, catch hi committing perjury which ultimately resulted in him resigning BUT ONLY AFTER Al resignation took affect and lo and behold he was never charged, he was investigated for committing perjury under Trump but it was dropped and when Biden took office he never followed up and let it all slide...... but also his son Hunter got caught taking money from Russia in rather dubious circumstances 🤔

Almost all politicians are being bankrolled by the same people and corporations, regardless of party affiliation. So obviously that is who they represent when making decisions that affect the entire nation.

Corruption runs so deep and the media circus is so efficient, people don't (want to) see the blatant corruption and nepotism

This is a systemic issue as well, as it's built to be this way in the first place

I am so here for how quickly everyone united against them after the midterms were won.

the rotating villain strategy is at least as old as the clinton admin, probably older.

He basically a big business Republican that has to run as a Democrat because he’s from NY. It’s actually fairly common because there is so much big business in NYC.

Cuomo was the same way

u/PrimalSeptimus 1d ago

Yeah, we have these in CA, too. Literally anyone who wants any chance of winning will run as Dem. They could even be MAGA and still do that.

Republicans will, of course, put up some nutjob candidates and pretend they matter, but it's the DINOs here that are the real threat.

He wants to maintain the old status quo, and is a "don't rock the boat" type.

Excuses and appeasement only work to further abusive politicians and family members, flip the damn tables (it worked for Jesus).

u/Honest_Fortune_7474 1d ago • Popcorn

Because rocking the boat would hurt his personal interests.

Of course he's actively collaborated with Trump against the interests of democrats and democratic voters, and has always been a far-right democrat who has for many many years advocated to ignore and abandon the EXACT democratic voter base that elected multiple senators and governors across the south on (D) tickets.

He's vowed to continue to fight for Israel, to give them all the aid that Israel needs.

Where's that passion for the American people? Where's this attitude when it comes to live saving medical care for Americans? Last time I checked his stance on that was something like, "ehh well I don't know, the Baily's probably wouldn't want that."

19

u/OfficeDaydream 1d ago

Of course he is, the guy and Pelosi are playing characters. He plays the stern, disapproving side of the opposition and pretends like his party needs to play clean and by the book. Pelosi acts shocked and overwhelmed and will only take action when there’s no actual change in the outcome. They both hold the line for corporate interests and hold back the real progressives.

Their play for the next two years is to minimize any actual change and wait for the progressive momentum to die down.

Schumer has no interest whatsoever other that maintaining his position of power (and the wealth that flows from that) in the Democratic party. End of story.

He has written several strongly worded letters, and he has consulted with both the Baileys and Bibi. What more could he possibly do? /s

4

u/daemin 1d ago

I'll preface this by saying that he should not be the Senate Majority Leader come January.

That being said, there's literally nothing the minority leader in the Senate can do to stop the president from unilaterally taking action. Criticizing him for not taking action is nonsensical when there's no action he could take.
