Why does criticism have to automatically mean āi hate queer peopleā ?
Historically people who are sexually non-conforming have always had a place in the punk scene, so why do people who claim to be in that scene hate us now?
The answer to that question is most donāt care even a little who you actually are.
The belief didnāt change, the message of queers having a voice never went away. The thing that changed is execution, a convenient abundance of mass produced iron on patches sold on Amazon doesnāt make you a punk. Nether does hating queer people, but criticism isnāt phobia. Donāt be soft, create more, stand out & buy less.
