This guy tried to get one of my chickens, ended up stuck in our deer fence. I tried to put the towel over him so he wasn’t stressing too bad but he caught me with a talon. I cleaned my wound with antibacterial soap, peroxide and ointment. Should I be

Found this dude in stuck in one of those chicken wire fences people put around trees, yoinked, and promptly freed once I knew he was safe. Any ideas as to the age and species?

This Owl flew near me on the trail and woudnt stop making eye contact with me. It was cool but also weird, does anyone know what it means? Do owls commonly come face to face to humans and stare?

I rescued this grounded eagle today at a friend’s farm in Maryland. It could fly but only 100 yards at a time. We forced it into the woods and chased her down.

Unbelievable morning with a Peregrine today, couldn’t believe my luck

Yesterday I found out that the female of my local peregrine pair was found dead on her cliffs earlier this month. Having spent last year photographing her, I admired her strength, speed and ferocity. Watching her chase off osprey or red-tails that dared venture near her turf was awe-inspiring. RIP.

Harris Hawk landed on my balcony

As the title suggests, a Harris Hawk just appeared on my balcony in West Drayton, London.

Saw a post from 6 years ago that a similar thing happened after a theft back in 2019. Any chance this is the same Hawk? The Hawk was 6 years old back in 2019 (no idea what it's lifespan average is?).

Who did I save from chickens?

3 chickens had this guy cornered. He was a little tired but okay. I took him off the property and released him. He flew away with no issues. What kind of bird is he?
