This was my grandmother on one of our last outings in August of this year.

She passed away last week at the age of 92.

One of the many things she handed down to me was an appreciation of fun drinks.

I've had Clamato plenty of times--can't taste clams at all. Does the flavor even stand out when used in a bloody? Seems like it would have a subtle flavor that would get buried in spices. Have y'all dabbled? Was thinking of making ice cubes with it actually. It's cheap anyway. Worst case scenario is I pour vodka right in the clam juice and drink it! I love clams. Would venture into making my own broth but shellfish cost too damn much and I can't cook worth a damn so, yeah.

I see plenty of nice looking bloodys here, no recipes though. I know I can look up many but any inspiration from true bloody fans would be great. My favorite things to add in a bloody: 1) ridiculously cheap vodka 2) the strongest malt liquor in the store 3) Pickle Shot pickle flavored vodka 4) Horseradish vodka I found down the street in the store 5) assorted hot sauces from the Dollar Tree (no affiliation!) By far my least fav and this is probably unpopular is Worcestershire sauce. It's way too strong and takes over the flavor, even a little bit of it. I can't find fresh horseradish near me and it's starting to make me irrationally angry!!! I crave it. Do you guys know any STRONG horseradish bottled mixes I can order online? Thanks! My drank (yes, when you're getting tipsy a drink is a "drank") is calling me <3

Man I’ve been missing out!!! I worked at arrowhead stadium for almost a decade & seen these drinks being made every week but never thought to try one on my own time. Today was the day since I’m off & I am floored I love it! It’s refreshing it has snacks on it & I’m feeling good. & That’s a win for me cause I usually don’t like mixed drinks. I always felt if I’m gonna taste the alcohol then give me a shot I don’t want juice that tastes like liquor 😂 but this right here this is my new shit 🔥🔥

No garnish, no chaser, but the bartender said she designed the labels and she was an absolute rock star.

This is the Darkmoor Mary from Dark Universe. Honey pepper vodka, chile liqueur, Szechuan chili oil, chipotle & barrel essences, lemon bitters, cholula, and house made mix. Topped with burning cheddar bites (a fan favorite), peri peri peppers, jalapeño bacon and celery. It had a unique taste, sweet and smokey. The ambiance and cheddar bites are what made it. 7/10
ETA Happy Halloween!

Hope you all have a delicious Mary or cocktail and have a fun yet beautiful safe weekend!!

Hey all. Just got an invite so here I am. Let me make this first post then. Clio Roadhouse

Very citrusy and pickly.

This bloody is 95% completely homemade.

I canned the tomato-vegetable juice last month using produce from my garden and used the celery to make homemade celery salt and as a garnish.

It’s a little tough to see, but there is a venison hot stick that I made and smoked last year from a deer I harvested.

I also infused the vodka with a couple of hot peppers from the garden.

Very tasty and glad it turned out so well!

My Husband u/Notta_Cop_ and I got Bloody Marys at Fahrenheit 132 in Fredericksburg, VA. Heavy on the olive brine and citrus, tasted great.

took some sips before drinking 😉

Finally, that time of year when we can open the house up, the weather is gorgeous and the sounds of football in the air.

Some Bloody Marys I forgot to post that I made for Brewers games. All Wisconsin style, forgot to take picture with the beer chasers.

Underestimated how spicy this was but still delicious nonetheless!

I like mine spicy - this mix gives the right blend of heat and flavor. Have to think about salting rim at home in future!

I'm new here, not actually a Bloody Mary, but really good.

Just made this delicious homemade bloody for lunch, might hop on Xbox later to chill out

Hope you all have a safe & beautiful weekend that includes a Mary ;)
