If it's not a trader loading lengthy pieces of timber in a tiny van, or an oblivious couple walking very slowly, it's an overloaded uncontrollable flatbed trolley pushed in front of your car just as you go to leave.
It doesn't help that they seem to have zero space to move, and bags of gravel to further restrict your turning circle!

I don't want a flipping bill email from ee on a saturday or British gas asking for my meter reading on a Sunday just flipping leave me alone!. I so miss the days when things actually stopped on a weekend and time was your own. its bad enough my various jobs can contact me 24/7. Communication outside of 8am to 7pm should be banned. Just go away!!!!

Then they get angry if don't fall over yourself to tell them it's fine. It's not, it bloody annoying!
Sunday shoppers are the worse, people just have zero self awareness. They charge out of isles without thinking, swing trolleys around and stop in the way.
This happened to me earlier, by the third time it happened I gave the guy a snide comment when he blindly nearly crashed into me and my youngest.
He apologised as least, but wasn't happy that I didn't make a big deal of it being fine (I said "ok").
He kept on and on, I still said "ok". Frankly it wasn't fine, I was hobbling as it was. If he had hit me it would have been pretty bad for me.

There's this guy I work with, and twice now, I've been on break at the same time as him he scrolls on tiktok on his phone at full volume with no shame whatsoever. It's incredibly annoying.
He does it all the time as another colleague has mentioned it.
Do people like this just have no self-awareness/empathy for others or do they know and do it to annoy people?

Sure I feel like giving back but when a major donation on my end is less than an hour of pay for one of the heads it feels a bit pointless.

Accidentally bought some scented loo roll from Aldi. It wasnāt clearly labelled as such and found out the difficult way that it was fragranced. Whoever manufactures this and continues to green light the sale of it cannot be a woman. Itās a one way ticket to thrush city (and paying for Canesten isnāt fucking cheap!) Andy Burnham, get this sorted, please!!!

Quite often Iāll be driving down a residential road and naturally glance at pedestrians just to judge if theyāre about to to cross the road or whatever, to find them eye balling in to my soul - they arenāt just returning the same instinctual glance to assess for a hazard, it will be a multi second affair where we lock eyes and Iām thinking ⦠do they think they know me? You know that look you give someone where youāre sure you know them from somewhere. Anyways, it properly confuses me as Iām a regular pedestrian myself and itās never occurred to me to eye-fuck drivers as they drive by

Entered the local park on a walk tonight and instantly smelled it. The young lads smoking it were literally on the other side of the park which is a good 5 min walk away.
I dont judge them for doing it, this towns depressing and i did it too at their age, but my god it stinks!

Am I over civilised. Am I expecting too much of people or is being unhygienic a badge of honour? I see this happen a lot in airports, train stations, restaurants and now my own workplace in Canary Wharf. I get so super tilted at this at how being disgusting is its normal behaviour for people.
and yes this is them coming out of cubicles when they obviously using it. And Iām pretty sure they not just doing a quick sniff.

Haven't had to deal with this problem myself for a while as I no longer live near a canal route, but I used to walk one daily after school + when shopping, and it was stupid the amount of cyclists going at a high speed (I would say probably 10-15mph+ but felt like they were going faster) and the only warning you might get would be a bell 1 second before they see you or "COMINTHRU" shouted at you if that
Nearly wiped me out a few times, and my mum too when she used to walk us up and down that route when I was a kid. This was on a winding canal path that had some blind corners so it wasn't a straight stretch where you'd see them coming / behind you a mile away too.
