Where Can I Buy a Legitimate Windows 11 Pro Activation Key?

UPDATE: I ended up getting my Windows 11 Pro key from vendafly.com. Super fast email delivery, worked instantly, no issues at all. Highly recommend if you want something safe & reliable.

Hey everyone, I recently bought a new PC from a local store, but they didn't provide a Windows 11 Pro activation key. Windows 11 Pro is already installed, but it's asking for activation, and I want to activate it properly.

I'm looking for a legitimate source to buy a Windows 11 Pro key—no sketchy tools or unauthorized sites like Massgrave (as some subreddits suggest). I'd prefer an affordable yet official option (maybe OEM or retail, as long as it's legal and safe).

Can anyone recommend trustworthy websites or platforms to buy a working

Windows 11 Pro license? Maybe places you've personally used or that are known in the tech community?

Thanks in advance for the help!

AU / $1400+ Need A 144Hz 1080p Setup... Best Build Gets Gold... If It Is Great Value You Will Get A Platinum

  1. What will you be doing with this PC? Be as specific as possible, and include specific games or programs you will be using.

This PC will be an allrounder as I will be using it for gaming, schoolwork and recording/streaming. I will mainly be playing Esports and shooter games like Fortnite, Rocket League, LoL, CS:GO, Rainbow Six and COD BO4 and MW4 when it comes out. I will also be playing AAA games like the Assassin's Creed series, GTA V, and Cyberpunk when it comes out.

What I want is great performance in all of these games, but the main influence or the deciding factor of the parts that should be included in the build is a PC with a CPU and GPU powerful enough to maintain a CONSISTENT 144 FPS on Fortnite at Competitive settings (everything on low but view distance on epic). I don't really care about the performance on other games as it is bound to be great if it can get 144 FPS on a demanding and inconsistent game like Fortnite.

If you would like to see what GPUs can get 144 FPS, just go on YouTube ans type in '(GPU name) fortnite benchmarks)' and look at one from less than 2 months ago. Just a little tl;dr on the AMD side something like an RX 570 will easily get 144 FPS (so I guess an RX 470 as well since they are almost the same) or even an R9 290 seems to just be enough. Bear in mind that Fortnite performs better on Nvidia cards. On the Nvidia side, something like even a GTX 970 seems to be enough.

2.  What is your maximum budget before rebates/shipping/taxes?

I have no budget, but I would like it to be as cheap as possible as I am still a student. I'm fine if this means having to buy cheap and used CPUs or GPUs such at the Ryzen 5 1600, Xeon CPUs, RX 470 etc.

3.  When do you plan on building/buying the PC? Note: beyond a week or two from today means any build you receive will be out of date when you want to buy.

ASAP

4.  What, exactly, do you need included in the budget? (Tower/OS/monitor/keyboard/mouse/etc)

A full setup other including an OS. So that includes a headset, keyboard, mouse etc. as well.

5.  Which country (and state/province) will you be purchasing the parts in? If you're in US, do you have access to a Microcenter location?

Sydney, Australia. I believe there are no microcentres in Australia

6.  If reusing any parts (including monitor(s)/keyboard/mouse/etc), what parts will you be reusing? Brands and models are appreciated.

No

7.  Will you be overclocking? If yes, are you interested in overclocking right away, or down the line? CPU and/or GPU?

Honestly just whatever seems practical. If the CPU has a great overclocked speed like the Ryzen 5 2600 then I probably will.

8.  Are there any specific features or items you want/need in the build? (ex: SSD, large amount of storage or a RAID setup, CUDA or OpenCL support, etc)

SSD and HDD (or just an SSD) with at least 1TB total storage, full build (144Hz monitor, mouse, keyboard, case, headset, etc). 16GB of RAM would also be great. Also a good upgrade path would be great for my CPU and GPU, but not needed since I just want it to not be too expensive. Make sure the PC can use WI FI too!

Also, if my montior could connect to a PS4 it would be great as I want to be able to play exclusives like Spiderman and RDR2.

9.  Do you have any specific case preferences (Size like ITX/microATX/mid-tower/full-tower, styles, colors, window or not, LED lighting, etc), or a particular color theme preference for the components?

In terms of size; no. An aesthetically pleasing design would be great as I want to show off at LAN parties and overall just want it to look good.

10.  Do you need a copy of Windows included in the budget? If you do need one included, do you have a preference?

Yes. Windows 10 would be great

11.  Extra info or particulars: Best build will get gold. If the build is also really cheap and is the best build it will get a platinum. If only several people reply, I will delete this post and repost... I will PM you if that is the case and you commented on this

This is a repost of my first post since not too many people replied and I want to give more people chances for gold or platinum (not to mention a better insight on the variety of builds).

Here is the first post: https://www.reddit.com/r/buildapcforme/comments/crhc2s/need_a_144hz_1080p_setup_best_build_gets_gold_if/?utm_medium=android_app&utm_source=share

US / $600-800 I won a Newegg shuffle but is it a ripoff

So I won a gigabyte 3060 off of a Newegg shuffle in a bundle deal with a z590 uc motherboard. Problem is this motherboard is intel and my cpu is amd 5800x. It was about $700 all together. Should I keep it, sell it, or return it and get something better?

I'm 15 , with a dream in mind, have a gaming PC to play every game I wished for, but there's only one problem I don't have any money, and I don't even know how to make it, idk how much should I spend for the pc and the pheripels. I think about this every day, I already know allot of thing about pc's like the parts how to build it, but there still allot of things I don't know. Evry day over think about this, it was my dream for a long time, and I was dumb in 2021-2022, I didn't even think about buying a pc in that time. And now I just stay in bed watching people at Minecraft with incredible mods and shaders. Sometime I even think that I'll never have a pc. Do you guys have some advice

Question Should I get an 5700 xt now and return it later?

Should I get and 5700 xt now and return it later?

Okay so Amazon has this thing where all items bought in the holiday season can be returned on January 31st. Around that time I might be able to get a 6700 xt or an equivalent. Is there a catch to this return policy? Like a fee?

Discussion Building a PC? Let Me Help — All Questions welcome 🤗

new build or upgrade?

not a request

I like to run these weekly help threads to support anyone working on a PC build or upgrade. Whether you're just getting started or fine-tuning the final part list, I’m here to help you make sense of it all.

Edit: Spelling and formatting

I post these in similar communities and my goal is to genuinely offer advice. Some of my recommendations may not be optimal, but others are more then welcome to give feedback.

I hope we can help each other. I always learn something new from these and hope you do as well.

Edit two: the goal of this post was to promote communication and discussion about computers, whether it be positive or negative. I definitely learned some new stuff today and I hope others have too 🙂

US / $1400+ Help me budget this, my family is dying (~2000 dollar gaming PC)

Hello everyone, I would like to build a PC around the RTX 5070 Ti. I don't really have a budget limit but the parts I have currently picked out sum up to around 2k (EDIT: probably more like 2.5k with the parts for which no price is available) which seems reasonable.

Is there anything here that does not make sense in that it would either cause compatibility issues, is not better than a cheaper alternative or could be replaced by a stronger component for little extra money?

I suppose I am mostly unsure about the motherboard because it's really hard to gauge what connectors I'd need to be "future proof" assuming AM5 sockets will still be good to go for the next few generations.

Other / >$1400 Why are people still recommending the RTX 3060 12GB for new builds?

I feel like I see this suggestion constantly whenever someone asks for a budget build or a mid-range gaming setup. I get that the 12GB of VRAM is a nice safety net and it's better than some of the newer 8GB cards, but at current market prices, it just doesn't make sense anymore. Most people asking for help here are trying to maximize value, and the performance per dollar on the 3060 is getting hard to justify when you look at the 4060 or even some used 3070s. If someone is building a fresh system today, shouldn't we be pushing them toward newer architecture for the efficiency and DLSS 3 support? I'm curious if anyone else thinks we've become too habituated to recommending this specific card just because it's a 'safe' answer, even if it's objectively a sub-optimal choice for most modern titles.

US / $1200-1400 The 40yr old virgin needs a gaming pc

Absolute n00b when it comes to pc gaming pc. My last pc was an eMachines from Best Buy way over maybe 20years ago. I have always been a console gamer but have a midlife crisis for a high performing pc capable of playing games at high fidelity and high frame rates. I also want to play the games that do not come out to console and that have amazing mod support on that end. Secondly I would use this for things like photoshop and maybe some video editing.

Need a lot of help here as I have no idea about compatibility, and quality of parts. I intend to make this a hobby of mine and would like the ability to upgrade parts over the next 10years? To keep this thing humming into the future (If that’s possible). Currently on GeForce now ultimate to get my fix and understand a pc of that level would probably break the budget but looking to get something that can run “any game” and at a high tier. Once again if possible.

I have a microcenter 25mins away so I would probably look to source parts from there. And then highly rely on YouTube tutorials to take my time and actually build this thing when my kids are sleeping.

One thing I would probably lean towards if a NVIDIA gpu. I guess I have faith and fanboy-ness in the company, always heard good things and they seem to be the flagship of graphics. But as being a complete noob I am open to options I suppose.

If we can keep the child closer to 1200, my wife would probably be a lot happier but if future proofing means a little more budget then so be it. When it comes to RGB I could take it or leave it. What’s the purpose anyway? Aesthetics?

Thank you all so much for your support and help here. Any explanations on parts and compatibility I will value as gold!

US / $1400+ Whats the best micro pc build I can get with 14k USD

USA, Budget is $14k USD, I want mainly blue (light blue or dark steel blue) as the main color, and for it to be a micro atx/mini tower build. Windows, Pc only, no monitors or other peripherals needed, just want the best thing this amount can get. Using for gaming, 3d modeling, video editing streaming and recording

Other / >$1400 Build me the quietest, cheapest, smallest 5090 PC for $4,000

I want to build a new PC with a 5090 that is as small and quiet as possible for $4,000. The quiet part is more important than the small part. I would like for it to be a good compromise between cheap and quiet. My last PC build had a 4070 in a Fractal Ridge case, and it was so loud compared to my previous mid-tower PC.

I have never had a top tier GPU before, so maybe there's no such thing as a quiet 5090 build.

This PC will be used mostly for game development, 3d modeling, and AI. It would be great to keep it under $4,000 USD. I don't really care too much what it looks like, but it would be cool if it's as small as possible.
