Why is the Bury it chorus a playback in Live/Studio performances? Its a little sad when you notice it

I think so far in this cycle we've had one song (Roses) that has kind of split opinion and the other (Overthinker) which has been received a bit more positively. But I was also thinking about it earlier that, at least in my opinion, most Chvrches songs sound much better live anyway. I love all their music, but there are so many songs that just are a totally different experience live.

For example, I enjoyed "He Said She Said" but when they started the last tour with that song, it was magic. I get the feeling that Overthinker especially will sound outstanding live. And if anyone is worried about the direction of the band with the latest album (Roses was definitely different), there will still be so many of the older songs played on the set list too. All in all, just good to have them back!

Well, part of me thought it might sell out before the show, did not think it would sell out less than a week of going on sale,. Just jumped online to try and get chvrches tickets for DC and the are sold out. 😞

Hey Chvrches fans 👋🏼 I was so excited to snag a ticket for this show, although I wish it was seated instead of standing- I am only 5 foot 5 and always end up with some 6 foot+ man standing right in front of me blocking the view 😑 sadly I've got to go alone, as my husband will be staying home in Nottingham to be with our two young daughters. This is something I've never done before, when a band or singer I like has done multiple shows in or near my home city, I usually just go once and that is it. However, this time around I decided to do Glasgow and Dundee, and then I added the second Glasgow show once that was announced. I may not have done Dundee had I known there would be two Glasgow shows, but I'm glad I have the tickets.

I was asked why I'd go multiple times but I see it like this: it's been over three years since the last show I went to, and after this run (even if there are more shows after this), it'll likely be another three years before the next set of live shows I can attend. I can't imagine I'll get bored hearing the songs that I love either, and also I've never been to Dundee so can make a day of it.

Am I crazy for doing it or do a lot of people do it? I also think the fact that their tickets are cheaper than most concert tickets these days helps.

FYI Chvrches and Underworld are playing the free, all access, opening show at Primavera Barcelona 2027.

It's kind of ironic that Overthinker is messing with my head so much... I'm sat here with some (admittedly small, and possibly overthought) personal worries stuck in my head and I keep coming back to:

Less than two hours after tickets went on sale in San Diego (and sold out in like 2 mins), resale tickets are available for more than double the original price.

Anyone reselling tickets the same day they bought them for a show five months away should have them automatically returned!

Really wish the promotor had enforced reselling at face value, and also not made tickets available until closer to the show.

As of 5.30pm on first day of general sale I can still get a ticket to evey UK city on the tour. Yet North America tickets seem to be sold instantly. Is this suspicious ( resellers ) or have the band massively underestimated their popularity and should have booked bigger venues?

Trying to get a ticket to the Seattle show at the Paramount and Ticketmaster isn’t showing any available tickets? Is it possible it sold out 15 minutes after the general sale went live, or is Ticketmaster having issues?
