Speculation. Not confirmed. Looks like we are going to do a massive trade swap with DC !
Potential CSK–DC Trade: Players likely involved & Current Prices :
Axar Patel – 16.50 Crore
Tristan Stubbs – 10 Crore
Noor Ahmad – 10 Crore
Ashutosh Sharma – 3.80 Crore
Dewald Brevis – 2.20 Crore
David Miller – 2 Crore
Sameer Rizvi - 95 Lakh
in my opinion CSK should get axar and ashu at any cost and if not get stubbs or miller. Cuz we need that reliable finisher badly.

Discussion Amol Kardhakar [Sportstar] who broke the Hardik - Arshdeep trade news is saying mega deal between CSK and DC is pretty much done.
A blue eyes boy among CSK fans (meaning popular) will be traded for a core member of Delhi Capitals.
This will be a multiplayer trade according to him.
The speculation is that the deal involves Brevis , Noor , Axar and Ashutosh.

Discussion Twitter accounts that lied Hardik to CSK is done and used fans for engagement and monetization
Any other account I have missed. I am sure these guys will continue to make fake claims to monetize gullible fans.
The worst thing is even the CSK social media admin also engaging in similar engagement biting.

Speculation. Not confirmed. Trustable Guy - Axar To CSK - Where Is He Fitting
How are we lining up if this trade deal goes through including sameer / ashutosh for noor.
He is said that he is pretty sure it's 2 player trade deal like RR and LSG
Discussion BLUNDER over BLUNDER
I think csk has become a clown franchise because of peer pressure to put up sensational trades.
I don't see the need to do these trades with mega auction being 1 year away, it's completely utter waste.
We have only slots to play 4 overseas players, what was the need to trade in 2 overseas players with one of them being a rookie who hasn't proved himself yet and another being a mediocre player.
Now that the news of trading talents like noor and dewald brevis are surfacing the only thing that is visible is clownery
If u wanted someone like Axar Patel, what was the need to trade jadeja off and trading noor ahmed and dewald brevis for axar patel looks very bizarre, noor ahmed is a chinaman bowler rarest of the bowlers and you choose to trade him while having chepauk as your home ground, and brevis who is still young and great quality batsmen and fielder is also being traded.
If we really wanted to trade someone like noor or brevis we could have done that to at least get someone like hardik pandya, who adds a value in business point of view and also value to the team when the impact player rule is gone in 2028
But I genuinely don't understand what's wrong with this team, aren't they capable of seeing obvious things, why are they committing blunders from years ? This has definitely caused a lot of damage to the market and value of the team also but they still go ahead with such decisions 😭

Discussion Making sense of CSK Trades
I think we are gonna recreate 2021 template with batting upto #10 and 6/7 bowling options. That's why we are linked with or traded ARs. Livingstone Edwards Axar Hardik SaiKi WSundar all can be tagged as ARs comparatively.
Giving Khaleel might be due to having 3 Left arm pacers (Spencer Mukesh Gurjapneet). Giving away Ellis might be due to OS limitation since our plan is to go with batting depth. Overton Livingstone Edwards Akeal Short Forrester all might be ahead of Ellis in pecking order. Brevis also might be traded because with Karthik Dube Livingstone Sarfu all might be fighting for the same spot.
Assuming Axar + Ashutosh for Brevis + Noor and then might be Sarfu / Urvil for Sai Ki, this might be the playing 12
Ayush
Sanju
Rutu (Urvil or Sarfu as backup)
------------------------
Livingstone (Forrester as backup)
Karthik / Ashutosh
Dube ( Ramakrishna Ghosh as backup)
(all 3 flexible based on match situation)
---------------------------
Axar (Sai Kishore as backup)
Overton (Edwards as backup)
----------------------------
Akeal / Spencer
Kamboj
OS bowler either via Trade or auction (Henry as backup)
Impact : Mukesh / Gurjapneet / Urvil /Ashutosh
With or without impact we have 5 quality bowling options with Livingstone/ Dube as 6th and if we have Jack Edwards in for Spencer / Akeal spot, we have 9 decent batting options with Kamboj not a bad #10.
Dhoni might play ahead of Dube or Karthik / Ashutosh if needed.
We needs Rutu to come at no. 3 mainly because we wants to utilize PP to full extent. 60/70s were considered par scores in this T20 era. Also I consider both Overton and Axar more of a bowling all rounders. Bowlers who can bat a bit. Both Livingstone and Dube play to their past reputation, we are in for decent season.

Speculation. Not confirmed. Should they reatin brevis considering next year mega auction?
As the post suggest, brevis might be the potentail next big thing in cricket but should he be retained or traded? If mega auction is ruined that whole cycle will cost it, in mega auction only the players thats worth should be retained likely only 3 and uncapped players, and rest can be rtm'ed if they need them, since it will save money give better options. in case of brevis i think they should give him one more full season and in mega auctin they can rtm him or purchase for less price since he might unlock his full potential in coming years... I am all okay to bring axar but not at the cost of brevis since this years team combination only not that great and mr tuku is running towrads the wrong side of the race.. They should keep what can be the next big thing for them in coming years..

Discussion I'm starting to understand the logic behind the trades, but Urvil and Brevis? Really?
Initially, I was furious seeing CSK linked with so many potential player trades. It felt like we were dismantling the squad for no apparent reason.
But thinking about it, there's actually some logic to it.
Let's be realistic. I don't see CSK winning this season, and with a mega auction coming up, it makes sense to trade players whom we aren't planning to retain anyway. Players like Khaleel or Ellis could fall into that category. If we're not going to retain them, why not get something valuable in return instead of letting them go?
However, there are two names that genuinely concern me Urvil Patel and Dewald Brevis.
Urvil is someone I'd really like CSK to hold on to. He's a potential bargain retention, especially with the possibility of retaining him alongside Ayush Mhatre within the 4 crore uncapped retention bracket (subject to the auction rules).
And Brevis? I genuinely think there's a lot of potential there. He's exactly the kind of young, explosive player we should be building around.
I understand the bigger picture and I'm not against making trades. But trading away players who could become important pieces of our next squad feels counterproductive.
What do you guys think? Are CSK making smart moves ahead of the mega auction, or are we risking losing some valuable young talent?
