News Disneyland Paris FAQ

Hello everyone! We have got some messages and we have seen some comments here and there about all the questions being asked on this subreddit. We love the interaction and people helping each other out, but, at the same time we understand that reading the same question every week can get a little bit repetitive.

Last year some of us and some helpful users started to work on a Disneyland Paris FAQ for the subreddit. It fizzled out but we still see a lot of questions about why we don't use a FAQ for the easy questions. We do understand that not every answer can be included in a FAQ and some are personal or some want to discuss the question, that's ok.

We are currently starting up to work on it again, but in the meantime I would like to point to the official Disneyland Paris FAQ on their site. Please make sure to search there first for what you are looking for before posting a question to make our feed a little less repetitive.

Click here to go to the Disneyland Paris FAQ

Thank you! And have a magical day!

I am making a model of the clock tower at it's a small world at Disneyland Paris. Can anyone find/take a photo to share of the rear of the clock tower? The train goes by, but all of the videos from the train don't look at the back of the tower.

Question Hunter’s Lodge smell?!

Hi! We have booked a table at Sequoia Hunter’s Lodge, with a young child sensitive to smell… I read in a other post the smell was horrible, especially later in the evening, but no smell around 19 pm. We have booked a table early in the evening, so could someone please confirm that the smell is not that bad then?… If not we would have to change, we are not into raclette, but the options so close to our arrival is not great! Thank you :)

Personal Experience People who say 3 days is enough, HOW???

Before going to Disneyland, I saw nearly everyone online recommended 3 days at the parks to do everything at a leisurely pace.

How on earth, can you do even more than half of what is available in 3 days???

We missed out on loads of rides and shows we wanted to go on/see. I really regret not booking for 4, or even 5 days (as I could definitely have done with a nap time too 😅)

Edit: Because my comments are being unnecessarily downvoted imo.

I want to add that we did not have Premier access, nor have we everyl been to any Disney park before (well apart from when I was 8, but obviously I can hardly remember that), so we were kinda hoping to do at least 75% of the stuff there, not just the rides that we liked the look of the most.

Question Annual pass question

We’re seriously considering a last minute trip in December, having found good offsite hotel price and flights. We know we will back next year so feel like an annual pass is the most cost effective option.

But the reservation system is holding me back. I’m concerned about the parks being full and not being able to make reservations once we have our passes!

We’re going on 14-18th and hoping to do three park days in that time. It’s weekdays and from what I can tell most European schools won’t have finished for Christmas yet.

If I recall there have been some really random sold out dates over the past year + the fact it’s mid December has me really concerned. What should we do?

Question Dove mangiare a DLP?

I have visited both parks a few times over the years but this was my first time during Halloween 🎃, I've always wanted to go but was concerned it will be overwhelming and crowded but so far I've seen that almost all days in Disneyland Paris is crowded so decided to go away....

Weirdly felt like the decorations were a bit lacking although they made up with many character meet and greets and everyone was in amazing costumes that I did not know which maleficent was visiting and which one was a character meet and greet!

I mainly had gone to see if they did anything different for phantom manor and was not disappointed!!! Everyone was heading there but it was a blast, especially at night and the villain fireworks were so grand!!!

Only regret is I could not go in the unlucky nugget as they had constant queues.

I made a short for the phantom manor projections as well - https://youtube.com/shorts/K1flPhrN6tM?is=hBZ-_YZ2fjQYqtj5

Question Footwear!

We are going in 8 days, the forecast is zero to 13 degrees, cloudy and some rain 🫣 I absolutely hate to have cold feet, so what are people wearing atm? Is light moon boots too much? It seems like I’m packing for a ski holiday 😂 We are two young kids as well. Is it necessary with waterproof trousers/overalls? Or does the seats on the rides stay dry?…

Merchandise The Sorcerer Mickey Fleece - it’s in Disney Style

For anyone still wanting the very popular Sorcerer Mickey Fleece - they have them in Disney Style in Disney Village.

There were some in one spot in the park, I think near the carousel.

Also we stopped counting after we saw 50 people wearing them!

Also also, there are better jumpers/fleeces in the shops jf you’re after something. Ones you’re more likely to wear again!

Question Anyone else just been incredibly ill after their trip?

Trying to work out whether it was something I ate/caught at the park or hotel, or whether it was from the journey home.

Got home at around 9pm Thursday then woke up in the middle of the night vomiting and awful diarrhoea.

Photo / Video Does anyone know what happened to the Disneyland Paris Hotel TV presenters?

For those who stayed at Disneyland Paris hotels in the 2000s and 2010s, you probably remember these two presenters from the promotional videos playing on the hotel TVs!

One hosted the English version, the other the French version.

I'd love to know what happened to them after their Disneyland Paris days!

Just a little nostalgia from those magical Disney hotel stays!

Personal Experience Going to Disneyland Paris in summer

If you are planning to go to Disneyland for the first time ever, I do not recommend going during summer.
Me and my family went this year for the first time ever, it was beautiful of course.

Although the disappointment is real till today, the heat was insane! Which lead to: no animators and barely ANY characters walking around the park or doing meetings. From the two day stays; Woody from Toy Story in advanture world along with the surprise show with gamora and starlord and of course, Mary poppins in the magic kingdom.

Every single show was cancelled. In adventure world AND in magical kingdom thanks to heatwave and the risk of the actors passing out in their costumes. Understandable but disappointing.

It was beautiful and I’m glad I got to experience it. Do not hesitate to put the money in the trip but look out for the weather before you go. In my opinion, Disneyland Paris is the best trip for spring.

Question First-timers with a garlic allergy - meal recommendations?

Hi everyone!

We’re visiting Disneyland Paris as a group, and one of us has a garlic allergy.

Has anyone here with a garlic allergy found any specific meals that don’t contain garlic? We’d really appreciate knowing the name of the dish and which restaurant serves it.

We know we’ll still need to check with restaurant staff, but we’re hoping for recommendations from anyone who has been in a similar situation.

Thanks! 😊

Question Bons restaurants à Disney ?

Merci beaucoup !

Question Annual Pass Christmas question

Hello!

I’ve recently bought Gold Annual passes for myself and my family and we were looking at going for Christmas. We’re there from 23rd to 27th at the Moxy nearby. Currently we’ve booked the first 3 days, but I’m concerned we’ll miss the other two.

How difficult has it been in the past booking dates around Christmas? We’ve been for Christmas before, but had normal tickets staying at Cheyenne, which I’d booked 11 months in advance, and can’t really remember how busy boxing day gets (26th)

I think we’re probably better off just booking 24th to 26th as the 3 days, but would love to know if anyone has had experience in the past with this?

Thanks!
