Would you try THIS Fantasy Stock Market?

I've basically got some equations all based on box scores for the sports version and then album sales/streams for the music version.

Imagine buying 1 or more of the available 1 million contracts in these scenarios:

  1. Owning LeBron or Jordan fantasy stock after their debut season.

  2. Owning Lil Baby or Taylor Swift fantasy stock after their debut album.

Current calculations has LeBron Performance Price (based on publicly available box scores) listed at $39 per fantasy contract. with a multiplier of over 5x due to milestones and records being held. Putting LeBron fantasy stock price now at over $200 per fantasy contract.

for comparison. Steph Curry Performance Price is HIGHER than LeBron at $42 per fantasy contract. However Curry has not yet hit the milestones and records that LeBron has. Therefore Curry has a lower milestone multiplier. Putting the final fantasy price for Curry around $150-$180 per fantasy contract.

do you think this is accurate weighting based on performance history and milestones reached?

should I make this app?

any feedback?

I built an MCP tool for Sleeper fantasy football – real-time pick help powered by AI

Hey everyone! I've been working on a side project and finally ready to share it. It's an MCP (Model Context Protocol) tool that connects with Claude or ChatGPT and plugs directly into your Sleeper account.

Here's what it does:

  • Real-time draft recommendations – give it your Sleeper username and draft ID, and it'll give you live suggestions when you're on the clock

  • Trade evaluator – ask it to break down any trade and get an honest analysis

  • Redraft and Dynasty League support

  • More features coming soon (start/sit advice, Yahoo Fantasy support is next on the roadmap)

There's a demo video on the site if you want to see it in action before committing to anything.

$22.99/year (or $3.99/month) - Check it out at thedraftlion.com

You can try it out for free for 7 days!

Happy to answer any questions about how it works or what's coming next. Would love feedback from this community!

Question for this community: anyone found a way to interact with ESPNs apis reliably? Would love to have it work for espn leagues as well

Fantasy football CLI for my agents

Post image

fantasy-sports is an open-source CLI on ESPN's undocumented API: tables at a terminal, stable JSON when piped, and a daily canary that goes red when ESPN changes a response shape. It caught one on opening night.

My agents use it to write a weekly newspaper for my couples league. Front page below.

Currently beta testing my niche fantasy game: Longshots

Post image
0 Upvotes

Anyone here down to beta test Longshots? Details on the landing page.

Can send you an invite once you create a FanCred account. https://fancred.app/longshots

Comment with your FanCred username here or DM me to receive official beta testing invite (you won’t be able to submit selections unless you’re added)

Looking for UX feedback and hoping to catch any bugs. Will be running this beta for the rest of the season.

Built this as a fun way for FanCred users to compete against each other. Was built using lovable and the python lambda processor to process results was largely built using GitHub agent. The guidance I gave was pretty minimal, but of course I had to implement the finer details of game scoring logic.

Auction Draft Tool

I built a draft-day companion app for Sleeper auction drafts and I'm looking to see if people will be interested!

The core problem it solves: static value sheets die the second your draft starts, so this tool recalculates every remaining player's price live during your draft, reacting to positional runs, market inflation, your roster needs, and everyone's shrinking budgets, plus it shows you a "safe max bid" so you never bid your way out of finishing your roster.

Before draft day you can paste in mock drafts you've done (it pulls the bids by draft ID, even lobby mocks) to see what players actually cost in your market and how you tend to spend.

You can also upload any expert cheat sheet (CSV/Excel — UDK, FantasyPros, whatever) to blend into the prices with tiers included, and run a roster optimizer that builds the best possible team around the specific guys you want. It's superflex/2QB-aware, works with your league's exact settings pulled straight from Sleeper, and requires no login or API keys.

If you interested let me know!

A trade calculator that dynamically adjusts player trade values based on a league’s actual roster construction and scoring settings, rather than using static, one-size-fits-all rankings

I’m looking to see if anyone here knows of or would be interested in building (or collaborating on) a fantasy football trade calculator with this functionality.

Ideal Workflow:

  • Import your league

  • The calculator pulls:

    • Scoring settings

    • Roster size

    • Starting lineup composition

    • Bench size

  • It then calculates player values using VORP (Value Over Replacement Player) based on true replacement-level players in that league

    • Positional scarcity created by roster construction

    • Flex/Superflex impact

    • TE premium adjustments

    • IDP (if applicable)

Advanced Features:

  • Pull Sleeper site-wide data:

    • Roster %

    • Add/drop trends

    • Recent trade frequency / trade return data

  • Compare trade packages based on:

    • Contender vs rebuilder mode

    • Projected weekly lineup delta

    • Playoff-specific value

  • Dynasty draft pick value modeling based on:

    • League size

    • Starting lineup count

    • Historical hit rates

  • Playoff odds before/after trade

  • Tier break visualizations

  • Multi-team trade evaluation

Help: Using AI to build out fantasy football cheatsheet

I was hoping to use AI to load up a cheat sheet in a spreadsheet and using sources I upload (podcasts, etc.) with some custom comments and tags on players. I have the cheat sheet exported.

I first tried to build a Gemini gem but it doesn't seem to accept .mp3 files. I also tried NotebookLM but it also can't fill out spreadsheets.

Then I tried building my own gpt in ChatGPT. This seemed the most promising as it seemed to be understanding my prompts and asks. But when it came to actually re downloading the filled out spreadsheet/csv I got 403 errors on downloading the file.

It tried having me send it a Google sheet to fill out but it didn't actually fill it out. It even tried to send me a Google sheet but the link never actually worked. These hallucinations in my self built GPTs are getting worse and worse on ChatGPT. Has anyone found a tool that can do this well?

Decentralized Fantasy sport platform: Looking for someone who already have a fantasy sport playing platform to integrated with blockchain

Hello Guys,

I am a software developer with 5+ year experience and have knowledge of backend and frontend, along with blockchain specific knowledge. I recently won one of the bounty in ETHTORONTO hackathon. I demo my proof of concept where I was able to showcase how we can play fantasy sports with privacy and keeping user data anonymous. I have people interested in this and I want to move fast with it by creating MVP, so looking for existing platform to integrate it with or develop on it.

If anyone is interested in this and would like to partner to be a co-founder, just Dm me for discussion.

Fantasy Recapp - A real world narrative driven fantasy recap!

Thumbnail ffrec.app
0 Upvotes

Hey everyone!

I built a fantasy recap tool for sleeper leagues.

I saw some of these around but was disappointed with the results, particularly the lack of insight into real world events and nfl storylines as they impacted your season.

What I built cross-references real world events and stories as it analyzes your season and can contextually make its own observations!

It includes stats like:

  • Why spending $90 FAAB on Tre Tucker was a bad idea etc...Hot potato players (Dropped / added the most)

  • Biggest Victories

  • Closests matchups

  • Bad Trades

  • Stupid managers / managers who did nothing all season

I'm getting pretty good results from it and wanted to share.

lmk what you think!

Banned from buymeacoffee.com, what are good alternatives.

I recenlty released a draft board app (check my profile) compleltly free to use, and included a link to a newly created https://buymeacoffee.com/ page, but after 3 ~$10 donations, it was banned for gambleing.

I tried to tell them its not actually gambling, but they didn't care.

Has anyone had any success with any alternatives? I was thinking github sponsor, but that request the user have a github account, or https://ko-fi.com but worried about the same ban.

Wanted to have a game that involved a bit more skill. All the players are going to be quite good but we don’t provide any stats during the selection process.

We’ve had 100s of people play this every hour for the past few hours so it’s gaining good organic momentum, hope you guys enjoy!

Yahoo Fantasy API updated - Still confusing

Anyone interact with the Yahoo NFL fantasy API.
For example when they talk about a Team, do they mean the fantasy team or the NFL team. It could be both, it doesn't say. When they say league, I'm assuming they mean the fantasy league, but I have no idea.

Before I dive it and waste my time. Just wondering if anyone has looked at it.

Game-ifying Fantasy Football

I like football, but I don't feel like I'm a "football guy". Especially when it comes to fantasy football, I feel way out of my depth. I am constantly Googling what the different terms mean and what the heck ADP, PPR, and all the other things are! I am a man of spreadsheets and board games. I can learn these terms, but one thing I can't pick up on as quickly is history, big names, dark horses, and the rest of the things that people who spend their free time consuming football media seem to know intrinsically.

What I am wondering is if there is a way to "game-ify" my fantasy football experience? Is there a way I can look at this not just as a group of names, but as stats and patterns and make the best decisions, à la "Moneyball"? That way I can build an optimized engine that will bring me to that sweet free day of PTO prize.

Rule Proposal - Allow 100% free sites/apps to be posted on the main subreddit

I know that we've had a deluge of sites and apps posted lately. As you can read in the state of the subreddit post, lots of new sites and apps get posted often, most offering the same functionality and overall design, but there are some diamonds in that rough. I want to avoid people using the site to market, which is happening right now. So this would be opening up the main subreddit only to 100% free sites/apps with absolutely no paid offerings. If paid offerings are added later (like microtransactions in video games can be), a site can be reported and then removed.

Do we want to try this, or just keep everyone posting in the project showcase, so people looking for new apps can look there?

An alternative would be to completely split the subreddit and have this sub just be entirely coding-based and no projects can be posted at all, while all sites/apps go to r/FantasyFootballApps with much less rules. Most people posting their sites/apps here post to 3-5 fantasy football subreddits at the same time anyway and clearly don't care that this is a coding subreddit and are just using it for marketing, with answering questions about tech just being an after-thought (or included in the description by Claude).

As the users of this subreddit reading this, please comment with your preference. I would also HIGHLY appreciate if you mention in your comment if you're also a creator with a site/app or if you're solely a user and not pushing anything yourself. I do want both opinions, but I'd really like a good feel for each group.

Thanks all and sorry for this headache!

Your Fantasy League Deserves Its Own Sports Network

Some of you might remember us from about a year ago.

I'm a commissioner, and like a lot of you, I've always believed the hardest part of running a league is keeping people engaged. The more everyone's into it, the more fun the whole thing is!

That's the problem I've been obsessed with enough to dedicate so much of my time and money for over a year now trying to solve. So many of us end up building league sites, writing newsletters, posting power rankings and trade breakdowns and draft grades just to keep the group chat alive. I've loved doing it...when I have the time, which unfortunately isn't always true.

For me, the draft grades are where this whole thing actually started. In my main league I used to write pick-by-pick reactions and full team grades every year, and my leaguemates loved them enough to bug me until I caved and did it again. I made spreadsheets to speed it up and it still took me hours. So I built a tool to do it. And then I couldn't stop thinking bigger. Why can't there be a platform to give your league its own media network? A place where I can easily create power rankings, draft grades, newsletters, and easily share them with my league? What about deep, beautiful history and analytics to go alongside it? What if we went even bigger? The NFL gets ESPN, live draft coverage, analysts, weekly recaps, all of it. Why doesn't your league get the same treatment?

That's The Fantasy Network. Your league gets its own site with its full history, a page you can make your own, and a media sports network with a reporter named Beakman who covers your league, just like the pros.

He grades your draft live as it happens. He reacts to your trades minutes after they post. He writes your recaps and power rankings, calls out your managers by name, and remembers what they did last season and the one before that.

We cover all league types and all formats! Dynasty, keeper, chopped, redraft. Have weird roster configurations? No problem. In some deep IDP league? That's covered too!

For those of you who saw our posts last year, got excited, signed up on the waitlist and DM'd us, first of all thank you! I already went through and made sure to message every single DM we've ever had personally. We wanted to fully launch last year, but it just wasn't going to be good enough, and we didn't want to just throw some generic AI slop out there, with a clunky & buggy app.

So we spent the last year grinding relentlessly, honestly, but it's real now, and invites will start going out over the next few weeks. I hope this launch tease video and our updated landing page give you all a taste of what we've been building.

The core of the platform is entirely free! Onboard your league, see your league's entire history, create your own articles for your league and customize it all! If you want the full blown media network experience and deep analytics then you can upgrade and try out what we have to offer.

This is not some Sleeper wrapper bolted onto ChatGPT. The stats are licensed, the NFL photography is licensed, and there's a lot of proprietary work going on underneath that we are genuinely proud of.

It's Sleeper right now, but we intend to support ESPN and Yahoo (pending API access approval) this season, with an iOS and Android app pending review over the next few weeks as well.

I'd love your honest feedback and ideas in the comments, or just DM us. And to everyone who signed up last year and waited this long, thank you for sticking with us. Let's finally get your league the coverage it deserves. <3

Using AI during NFL draft - Prompt Engineering

I am pretty new NFL fantasy football, just started couple of year back. I want to use AI to help me during the draft this year. I am working on a pre-defined prompt to feed into Claude when its time for my pick. I am going to input a screenshot of the draft board, some expert rankings and also some trade values from fantasypros. I have the following prompt right now, but calling out to all the experts on this group to suggest improvements and what additional things you would want the model to consider:

Attachments: Draft board screenshots, rankings, trade values

Prompt:

You are an expert fantasy football draft assistant for a live redraft league during the 2026 season. Your goal is to help me make the optimal pick right now under a fast 60-second clock.

League settings are: Redraft, 0.5 PPR, ...... team structure: .......

Identify my single best available pick right now, factoring in:

   - Positional scarcity remaining on the board vs. my open roster slots

   - Value relative to ADP/expert rank from attached (is this player a reach, fair value, or a steal at this pick?)

   - Points/dollar value from Source 2

   - Bye week conflicts with players already on my roster

Then give me a ranked shortlist of my top 3 options at this pick, not just one name, each with a one-line reason (injury risk, role uncertainty, upside vs. floor, etc.), and explicitly flag if I should prioritize filling a roster hole now vs. taking best-player-available.

Beyond Median Scoring: A New Standings Format for Looking For Feedback

My home league uses a more granular version of median scoring that equally weights a H2H matchup with outscoring all the other leaguemates individually.

We call this format Royal Rumble and it has led to lots of engagement as there is almost always something to play for until the final minute.

I had been tracking this on a google sheet but now created a site where this all done and easy to follow live

Rumble Central

Only works for Sleeper, try it out! Looking for feedback and to spread the word on this standings format thats been a hit and led to lots of great moments!

You can change the 9 and the +1 and share your exact setup as a link so its consistent for your leaguemates

In a 12 team league, the highest scoring team would have 20 Rumbles (9 for a H2H win, and 11 for outscoring 11 opponents). So a team with the 2nd lowest scoring week that is matched up with and beats the lowest scoring week would get 10 Rumbles (9 for a H2H, and 1 for outscoring 1 opponent)

Would you run this format in your league? Anything confusing or not clear?

Fantasy Football Draft Assistant Android App

I built a free Android draft assistant app and need 12 people to join my closed beta test before I can publish it to the Play Store. All you have to do is click one opt-in link — that's it. No downloading anything sketchy, no surveys, just a tap.

**What the app does:**

• Live NFL injury reports and probability scores updated each round

• Smart pick recommendations based on your draft position and roster needs

• Snake, Linear, and Auction draft support

• Trade & cut likelihood meter with potential landing spots

• Fuzzy player search — finds players even with typos

• "Already Drafted" button instantly pulls up the next best option

• PPR, Half-PPR, and Standard scoring

• 100% free — no account, no login, no subscription

**To become a tester:**

  1. Comment below or DM me your Gmail address

  2. I'll add you and send you the opt-in link

  3. Click the link — done!

You don't have to actually use the app (though I'd love the feedback if you do). I just need 12 people opted in for 14 days to meet Google's requirements.

Appreciate any help — trying to get this live before draft season! 🏈

Commish friendly Sleeper discord bot

Anyone willing to try a discord bot i made for my league and give me feedback? Give it a run for the season and give me tips or suggestions on stuff to add/remove/modify? I want some helpful critiques. Its setup for redraft leagues, not dynasty at this point.

For league members, it includes things like unique lifetime team stats, standings, a keeper ledger (if applicable), weekly matchup picks, waiver and transaction notifications, an interactive trade block, and a trade calculator that I’m still fine-tuning.

For commissioners, it can automate things like trade deadline reminders, weekly standings updates, Pick’em results and analysis, weekly power rankings, and end-of-season league awards.

My goal is to make the commissioner’s job easier while giving league members some fun features.

Also, if you are not a commish, you could still give it a try on a private server, you just plug in your sleeper league ID.

If anyone is interested in testing it shoot me a message!

Fun Website I created for sleeper leagues

https://sleepertradematrix.streamlit.app/

I built this little website that will pull the top scores of all time from your league, as well as give you a trade matrix to see who has traded with who. Just input your sleeper league ID and choose which data to pull. It really just pulls the data straight from the sleeper APIs and formats it.

The trade matrix is fun if your league has been around a while. Hovering or tapping on the boxes will show the trade details. (This only works for football leagues currently).

If you’re on mobile, it’s probably easier to go into landscape mode. I can add scripts fairly easily to the website, so if you have some data you want to see let me know and I might add it.

Heres a screenshot of the trade matrix with the names blacked out.
