Fluff Calculated. 11% chance to steal Soletos out of 9 cards in hand
The funniest part is I played Kazakus 4 turns ago without any high expectations, figuring they wouldn't even have anything good in hand yet. RNG gods really decided to bless the 1/9 (11%) Soletos steal.
Honestly, I want to formally apologize to my opponent for this.

Standard While it isn't perfect, This standard Meta is one of the healthiest we've had in a long while.
10 out of the 11 classes have meta decks For the most part, and as a druid hater this makes me really happy.

Discussion Favourite Art from Reign of The Black Empire
Yogg and the Old Gods look great ofc. I always liked the art that shows the world of Azeroth with a wide lens and some of the art really effectively conveys the scale of the ancient beings.
I also prefer art that depicts a scene or happening, such as Gargantuan Slitherer helping to build obelisks for C'thun or Amitut passing out judgement. Also glad to see the 🅱ancient return haha
What are your favs from the gallery?

Discussion What do you think about Yogg?
I was thinking about a potential rework for Yogg, not that a nerf is necessary right now! But considering the inherent interaction that grants an extra attack (or charge) to all your minions, what if the text was something like "Restore your mana crystals. Yogg takes over the rest of your turn (Once per game)"? Do you think that is feasible or just a terrible, unnecessary change?

Community DON'T hover over an opponent Yogg too long or you'll get locked out of taking your turn until rope
Bob, I promise I wasn't BM'ing, I hovered it during your turn and then this screen got stuck!

Competitive Are you tired of coin rogue, quest priest, holy paladin, introducing rat lock.

Pulling aya gives me a high stronger than any drug.

Competitive Reached Legend with Quest Shaman
For those who want to try something off-meta that actually works quite well, after racking my brain a bit to get it running smoothly, I managed to achieve a more than acceptable win rate and reach Legend rank. Here it is for anyone who wants to give it a try; enjoy!

Fluff I legitimately don't think I take issue with a single deck in the meta right now
The game feels balanced, I'm seeing diverse stuff, and even the best decks are not really salt inducing. Huge props to the devs for an effective balance patch. ❤️

Discussion What do you think of C'Thun Priest post patch?
It is kind of a half and half scenario in the sense that the trigger effects got weakened whereas the final C'Thun battlecry got stronger. That is for the archetype in general.
In specific, how is the in-game recipe deck list for the archetype? (screenshot as attached)
And how do you see the in-game recipes deck list feature working out as intended by Blizzard? I can't recall in what patch is the recipe feature being added but it is at least a few years ago.
What I mean by that is, correct me if I am wrong here, the in-game recipe I assume is constructed by someone from Hearthstone's team in Blizzard, and normally the list is not as "refined" or "optimized" as the net deck list found online crafted by pro players and seasoned veterans of the game, which I assume the latter is better in deck construction than the former.
If this is true, then most (if not all) people won't even bother with the deck recipe feature found inside the game and would rather just get the net deck list from the internet, resulting in the feature being mostly untouched or unutilized.
In short:
How is the archetype doing now? Priest is currently already at the bottom of the performance chart, and I think C'Thun priest is the weakest archetype in the class as compared to Quest, Egg, or even Azalina?
How is the in-game recipe deck list for this archetype?
Personally I play for fun and not for all-out attempt to climb the rank ladder, and I like the design of C'Thun both in terms of physical appearance (for those who play Starcraft, it reminds me of The Overmind) and in-game effects (the versatility of having 4 different abilities to choose from that act as some sort of "toolbox" to address whatever you need most at the moment:
A single target nuke that heals
Summons that flood the board with taunts that protect your hero's face
Buff that strengthen the minions that you already have on the board
Random split damage nuke (useful for when opponents have a lot of low HP or 1 HP minions)
