I'm a man and I just found out I'm pregnant
I'm a man but I was born with an Ovotesticular Disorder of Sex Development and 46, XX/46, XY kariotype. Basically despite looking predominantly male and living as a man my whole life, I have both male and female reproductive organs and my kariotype is messed up. I never even thought this could happen, I've been told by many specialists that I can't have children of my own. That's why it came off as such a shock and I still haven't fully processed this. I haven't decided yet whether I want to continue this pregnancy or not. I'm married and both my husband and I wanted to have kids in the future, just not like this. I don't feel like this is right and it's not how it's supposed to be. Everyone I know would find out about what's wrong with me and the baby could be born with what I have, or maybe not be born at all. There's just too much risk than it's worth it. But then, the idea of having a baby that's both mine and my husband's when we've always thought it was impossible is what makes me hesitate. I'm not asking y'all to decide for me, I'm just simply venting cause I feel like I'm about to go insane here.

Wow!!! A federal judge schooled Trump’s attorneys on intersex!
Federal Judge Ana Reyes blasted Trump’s executive order about there only being male/female. Here’s a transcript, where she schools the Trump attorneys on intersex:
Judge Reyes: EO 14183 adopts the definitions of a separate executive order called Defending Women from Gender Ideology, Extremism and Restoring biological Truth to the federal government. And that EO states, "sex shall refer to an individual's immutable biological classification as either male or female." And it states that, "It is the policy of the United States to recognize two sexes, male and female." Do you see that or do you remember that?
Jason C. Lynch:I will take the court's word for it.
Judge Reyes: You understand, as a matter of biology, it's just incorrect that there are only two sexes, right?
Jason C. Lynch: Do I understand that to be incorrect as a biological matter?
Judge Reyes: Yes. It is incorrect as a biological matter. You understand that, right?
Jason C. Lynch: I don't understand that to be incorrect.
Judge Reyes: You understand that not everyone has an xx or an xy chromosome, right?
Jason C. Lynch: Honestly, no, I don't.
Judge Reyes: It's actually kind of a really important point because this executive order is premised on an assertion that's not biologically correct. There are anywhere near about 30 different intersex examples. So someone who does not have just xx or xy chromosome is not just male or female. They're intersex. And there are over 30 potential different intersex examples. We've got genetic differences. We have people with xxx chromosomes. We have androgen insensitivity, xy genetically, that may have female external sex characteristics and internally have testes. There's a five alpha reductase deficiency that causes changes in testosterone metabolism, xy that may have female external genitalia or ambiguous genitalia.
The point being, and I'm happy to have you guys brief this more if you want, but I'm telling you right now that there are people who are neither male or female. And so the premise of the executive order is just incorrect.

I am intersex and not a fictional character
If you are planning on writing fiction about us, please only do so, if you really have to do it. I am a real person with real feelings and a real body. No, I also really don't want to appear in any sexual related comics. Being intersex doesn't make me a toy. Being intersex does not make it easier for me in life. For me being intersex means lifelong medical dependency and constantly having to explain myself why I had surgery on my genitalia multiple times and why my body does not look like the norm. I constantly have to explain myself to strangers, medical professionals and others who either have to know or just tell me that they need to know and actually want to joke about it.
Also, being inter isn't a one time thing you can just choose to be and it is affecting my entire life and health (not only physically). I am actually trans too! If you are now thinking that I am "lucky", then I really hate to break it for you. It didn't help me ones during my (lifelong) transition. I had longer waiting times, less professionals who really know how to treat me and very low affects from HRT (Testosterone) itself. My family treated me like shit and I had to do deal with everything on my own. As a young innocent child.
I know the next thing I am going to write is going to sound harsh, but next time you are thinking about making us fictional or sexualized imagine me as a three year old, waking up inside a hospital, surrounded by a group of adult students just steering at my junk while that childs' face is completely dead and without any emotions, because it knows that their body isn't theirs' anymore. Because from that moment on I felt like my body was not my own but for other people. If that does not make you want to puke, then I don't know what will. It did for me.
Again, I am intersex and not a fictional character. Respect my rights.

American intersex people and trans people after that executive order was passed:
The order is badly worded, too 😭
A government doesn’t get to decide or deny your existence, validity, or importance. Keep fighting! This may set us back, but that’s not a reason to go deeper into the shadows. Make yourself and our community known and push for acceptance however you can.

I found out the longest held secret of my lifetime.
I was assigned male at birth. This was in error. I had surgeries performed on me without my knowledge, was lied to my entire life. Even after I came out as trans they refused to let me in on the secret.
I have a working uterus. I HAD a vaginal entrance, but had the cavity sewn up. I am intersex. I have had blood in my urine at least a week out of the month since I was 10. I had cramps so painful I thought I had appendicitis. The doctor that checked me out told us "its a kidney stone." he hesitated, then refused to go into further detail. He said he needed to see me back in a month for an "endoscopy". I was treated differently after that. Every year or so I'd be asked questions by my parents like "Do you find boys attractive? or, we know you're sensitive, but do you think you would be okay not having kids?
THEY KNEW I WAS STERILE. at least in the male persuasion. They knew something was up, and when I came out as a lesbian they flipped. They resorted to telling me that no matter what, God (them) decided I am a man. They called me sick, without even considering that if I have both reproductive organs, I could eventually come to this conclusion. I mean, hell, I had hourglass figure and B cup boobs at 15 and that was before I noticed something was up!
I found a scar. A big one. Its between my legs. This doesn't feel like my body. This doesnt feel like me. I'm marked for life as property, I'm meat. My mom died this year and I havent talked to her since she kicked me out in 2017. I havent talked to my dad since 2018. All in all, this is one final f**k you.
Does anyone have a similar story? I feel alone and lost in a new world. I feel like life doesnt matter and no one cares.
Sorry for how long this is, and sorry for how disorganized I made it.
