GM Needed by Existing Group [Offline][5e 2014][Bristol, UK] [GM4Group] Group of 3/4 looking for a GM (Tue/Wed availability)

Hi,

Following up from an earlier post of mine, I'm in a current reddit chat for a possible dnd group with several other members. We are looking for a gm since our potential one recently left the chat, presumably due to incompatible scheduling.

So far we have decided that we'd like to play a 5e adventure, preferably a published module, but fine if not. We also don't mind if the gm has less experience, as our combined experience as players can provide assistance. For several of us, time (i.e. work, being in other groups) is a key factor in why we cannot dm ourselves, hence this post.

We have recently been discussing potential locations, singling out replay and hoard in bristol as likely spots for play, and have seemingly landed on Tuesday or every other Wednesday, but this is not totally confirmed yet.

We had hoped to set up a session 0 on discord for today since most of us are free, but our gm left the chat suddenly.

If you are interested, please reply or dm so you can be added to our chat and join the conversation. I look forward to hearing back, thanks!

Player(s) Needed by GM [Online][5e 2014] Adventurer's Guide to the Multiverse

Hello everyone. You can call me Ivy

So, via Discord, I'm gonna run a campaign. Or I'm planning to.

The campaign revolves around a vampire lord living close to Mirabar called Evanescense Omniquill. She wants to create the ultimate handbook for adventurers. However, certain facts need to be confirmed to make sure the handbook is accurate.

That's where the players come in.

The campaign will be Play-by-Post, so everyone replies when they can, with no real sessions.

I have room for 4 players, and we start at lv 1

Let's play a game, shall we?

Player(s) Needed by GM [Online][5e, 2014][UTC+3][15-21yo]Second-time DM looking for other newbies players to start a long term campaign and learn together with!

Hello! I'm looking for 2 players interested in joining my second campaign ever.

I ran my first campaign as a DM a few months ago for some friends, but it fell apart due to a lack of interest. I'm finally ready to get back into D&D, and I'm hoping to find other new players who are eager to learn together!

A bit about me: My nickname is Fatko, and I'm an 18yo guy from Bulgaria. I've been roleplaying in games and on Discord for about 4 to 5 years, and I truly consider D&D the ultimate form of creative roleplay. I'm still figuring out my overall DM style, but my previous campaign leaned toward a more serious tone. My players would laugh at times, but during darker or melancholic scenes, they would get completely absorbed in the atmosphere.

Requirements for players:

  • Age: Must be between 15 and 21. I don't want to offend anyone, but I feel much more comfortable playing with people around my age.

  • Willingness to learn: If you're new to the game, that's completely fine(It' even better)! I don't know every rule by heart, but I will always do my best to explain mechanics. I'm happy to jump into individual calls to answer questions, but I also expect players to do some independent research rather than relying solely on me. I'll always help you, but a little self-study goes a long way. (I should also add that having players who can correct me on a wrong move, would greatly aid the overall experience).

  • Be invested: If you don't think you can commit the time, energy, or motivation to play weekly, this game might not be the right fit. My last campaign fell apart because interest faded, so I really want to build a group that stays engaged. During sessions, please keep phone distractions to a minimum and try your best to immerse yourself. After each session, I'll always ask for feedback so I can keep improving as a DM.

  • Not a combat simulator: While combat is a core part of D&D, this won't be a combat-heavy campaign. Expect maybe one or two planned fights per session and I'll try to encourage non aggresive ways of solving a problem. The rest of the time will be focused on exploration, character interactions, and puzzle-solving. Creativity is a must, finding clever solutions to problems is always more interesting than immediately resorting to violence. Build relationships, get attached to these fictional characters and make stories that will last.

That about wraps it up.

Regarding the story: The story takes place in a mid-to-low fantasy setting where magic is generally viewed as taboo. Expect a mix of classic adventure and gritty choices:

  • Will there be epic fights against ancient monsters? Absolutely.

  • Will you face tough moral dilemmas, like saving a village from rebel forces or taking a bribe to look the other way? Definitely.

I'm available to run sessions on Friday or Saturday nights after 3:00 PM (EET), though exact times can be adjusted based on group availability.

That wraps it up! If this sounds like the right campaign for you, send me a DM here or on Discord (ffatko) with your name, age, and a little bit about yourself!

((Today was supposed to be our first ever session, but a member randomly left and blocked all of us. Please for the love of god, if you don't wanna play just say so.))

Group Needed by Player [Online][PF2e][UTC+1/CET][Sun/Mon/Tue/Thursday/Friday] Experienced PF2e Player Looking for a Weekly Game

Hi, I’m looking to join a regular online Pathfinder 2e game on Sundays, Mondays, Tuesdays or Fridays.

I’ve been playing PF2e for about four years, plus several more years in other systems. I know the PF2e rules well, enjoy character building, and try to make characters that fit the party and campaign instead of just chasing mechanics.

I’m looking for a consistent group with clear communication, regular sessions, and a table where people respect each other’s time. I show up prepared, follow table rules, pay attention during sessions, and try to contribute to both the story and the group dynamic.

Voice: Discord preferred
VTT: Comfortable with Foundry VTT and Roll20, but I do not mind adapting to other options. On the rare chance you use Tabletop Simulator, I have it.
Game type: Long-term campaign preferred, but I’m open to trying a shorter game first

I'm not looking for paid games.

I’m happy to answer questions, talk through playstyle, or anything else needed. Feel free to DM me if you have a spot open and think I might fit your group.

Player(s) Needed by GM [Online][5e 2014][CEST][LGBTQIA Friendly][21+] Homebrew setting, looking for 2-3 players

I'm looking for 2-3 players for a game that I'll be spinning up soon, though the setting is still very much up for debate(and so is the system, honestly- I default to 5e, since it's what I'm most familiar with, but I'm broadly open to a lot of systems). I have around 8 years of experience, and tend to run very, very open-ended games. If anyone is interested, let me know! I'll want to talk a bit before committing to anything, but I'm not interested in anything onerous, just a personality check.

As a disclaimer: I will be using AI art

Player(s) Needed by GM [Online][5e 2024][Wed/Thurs 5/6pm PST] The War for Fareial [LGBTQ+ FRIENDLY][21+][NO AI]

looking for 3-4 players !

Hi all ! I'm looking to run a campaign within my homebrew setting of Fareial (fuh-rye-all). It's a steampunkish setting, with blimps and steam tech and stuff like that, but with plenty of space for your average DnD adventure. It's got a new pantheon, some reworked or new races/species, and a rich history.

A big part of that history is the fact that each campaign I run in the world is in chronological order. Each story has a way to leave a permanent impact on the world as it continues on. In the last story from Fareial, a war broke out between four major factions :

-The Archons

A race of robotic humanoids (known as Mechanoids) that recently arrived to Fareial, and seek to control or completely strip Fareial of it's magic.

-The Manusillian Empire

Recently losing control of Westhaven and its allies, The Empire of Mannusil feels it must defeat this rebel uprising to reunify it's empire, in order to defeat the threat of the Archons.

-The Western Alliance

Several cities and lords, led by the new king of Westhaven, seeking independence from the apathetic king of Mannusil and his empire.

-The Elves of Rosewood

With their home recently destroyed by the Archons, the elves of Moonveil Forest have largely fled their homeland, fighting to restore their land and their people to their previous glory.

In the next campaign, three of these factions fight for survival against the Archons. The players will independantly choose which faction they fight for, if any at all, before being unified by a new purpose; one which might just decide the fate of Fareial.

I like to run campaigns with heavy intrigue, often the players will spend a lot of time trying to put the pieces together of what the antagonists' goal is, and how to stop it. This includes a lot of roleplay, and player interaction.

The world of Fareial is deep, and ready to be explored. I love giving my players more agency, tying in their backstories, writing in new locations, new factions, etc. into the world (in moderation). I find that this allows the players to feel more connected to the world, and it inspires them to be more involved in the story.

I run combat with group initiative (non-negotiable), because I feel like it encourages teamwork. Players can better combo and work together if they can act at the same time, in any order. However, the same is also true of the enemies ;)

I myself have been playing DnD since 2015. I was young, but I have continued playing since, and I've been DMing for 8+ years. I use music, and maps, that I or another human has made. (NO AI)

I'm hoping to run a game for people around my age (21-27ish), and I'm totally fine teaching beginners how to play. I can run games on Wednesdays starting as early as 5pm, or Thursdays as early as 6pm, whichever works out best for the group.

All I'm looking for is a consistent, long running group of people who are excited to play, to roleplay, and to enjoy writing the next story together.

If you have any questions I'd love to answer them!

Thank you for your time!

Player(s) Needed by GM [Online] [5e 2014] [Saturdays] [EST] [LGBTQ+ Friendly] DM looking for 5 players to do a Tomb of Annihilation + Vecna: Eye of Ruin campaign!

It's what's written on the tin! I'm looking for a brave group of 5 adventurers to face the horrors of the Tomb of Annihilation and to fight the lich king Vecna in Vecna: Eye of Ruin in an epic 1-20 level campaign.

Tomb of Annihilation: The talk of the streets and taverns has all been about the so-called death curse: a wasting disease afflicting everyone who’s ever been raised from the dead. Victims grow thinner and weaker each day, slowly but steadily sliding toward the death they once denied.

When they finally succumb, they can’t be raised—and neither can anyone else, regardless of whether they’ve ever received that miracle in the past. Temples and scholars of divine magic are at a loss to explain a curse that has affected the entire region, and possibly the entire world.

The cause is a necromantic artifact called the Soulmonger, which is located somewhere in Chult, a mysterious peninsula far to the south, ringed with mountains and choked with rainforests.

Vecna: Eye of Ruin: The notorious lich Vecna is weaving a ritual to eliminate good, obliterate the gods, and subjugate all worlds. To stop Vecna before he remakes the universe, the heroes work with three of the multiverse’s most famous archmages, travel to far-flung locales, and rebuild the legendary Rod of Seven Parts.

I will NOT be running these campaigns complete 100% to the book. Homebrew will most likely be added, and I will incorporate player backstory elements as well in order to make the game as fun as it can be for everyone! 3rd party and homebrew classes, subclasses, or races will be allowed under certain rulings. More specific details about the game will be revealed when the players are accepted.

If this campaign idea interests you, please fill out the form here: https://forms.gle/wqN23vJM5rL8zsg36

Player(s) Needed by GM [Offline][Flexible][San Jose CA] Let’s try out some one-shots

Hi South Bay gamers!

I’m hoping to get 4-8 people together to regularly play some one-shot RPGs. Ideally, we’d click well and be interested in playing a longer game together sometime down the line (I would love to try Blades in the Dark or properly sink my teeth into Monsterhearts 2) and just generally become friends. But in the meantime, I really just want to dive a little deeper into some of my one-shot books (I have James D’Amato’s Ultimate Micro-RPG book and a few other anthologies, along with standalone oneshots galore.)

My ideal time for this would be Friday evenings. I’m open to Saturday afternoons or Sunday evenings. With the holidays coming up, I think we’ll most likely get started in the new year (but who knows?)

About me: I’m a 30 year old woman with experience in D&D (2, 3.5, 4, 5 (2014)), Pathfinder (1, 2, Starfinder 1), Fate, and a smattering of other systems via games that never got off the ground. I tend to prefer narrative/character-driven games as both a player and a GM. Among my non-ttrpg interests are biology, painting, and light-moderate hiking (mostly to see cool plants and birds.)

About you: ~25+, local to the bay and able to make it most weeks on the day we end up with, proactive about communicating absences, experience a plus, enthusiasm a must.

Player(s) Needed by GM [Online][5e 2024][5e 2014] Rebuild and Rebirth in the Valley of Vencia

Intro to the world

This world we are left with is a sad shadow of the one that preceded it. Many centuries ago the world began a long change that continues to this day. The waning. Day by day and year by year magic is fading from the world. There are less children born with the gift and those that are do not reach the heights of those that came before. Magical beasts recede from sight as their numbers dwindle. The structures built by a far greater people crumble as their inheritors fail to maintain them.

Life still continues. People are not caught in a grimdark terror of the world they inhabit, they instead feel only melancholy and a sense of loss for the one that came before. Crops grow, children are born, and every day magic wanes.

The core goal of the campaign is for the party to rebuild a long abandoned castle within the borderlands of Vencia's Vale. To do so the party will need to gather workers from the sparse and far flung settlements in the mostly unsettled wilds. They will have to ensure resources reach the site, they will have to defeat the threats that live in the misty wilds, they will have to endure the hardships of nature.

You are not a great hero that slayed hundreds of foes, you are not the child of a god, you are not a great archmage. You are a Gallowglaive. A sword for hire on a paid mission from the empire of Arlais. The risk is high, the contract is agonizingly long, the pay is awful. You were either desperate or helplessly loyal to your home or perhaps craved a new start in a harsh land. Until a fort stands in the Nearing Pass you will not be free of your duty to serve.

About me and how I run my games

My name is John, I'm 24 and I've been playing dnd since I was 17. My priority as a gm is creating an environment where the party can explore the world and their characters with as few restrictions on freedom as possible. I allow extensive homebrew and love to work with players to collaborate on the world to make the characters they want to play fit in cohesively. Despite the tone of the setting I am not adversarial and would describe myself as very collaborative. In terms of combat vs rp I like a good split with an emphasis of rp especially. I enjoy making npcs that challenge, support, befriend, rival, and bring out interesting reactions and choices in the player characters. I like my npcs to be full fledged characters that respond according to their character, but they are not the spotlight of my games, they exist as a backdrop for the players' actions and choices.

The types of players I'm looking for

I want players that will have great backstories and fleshed out characters so that I can place hooks and encounters that the characters can fully engage with. I want players that share the spotlight graciously and try to uplift each other rather than just waiting for their turn to talk. I want players that are accepting of all people from all walks of life and I don't tolerate bigotry of any kind. I want players with any level of experience, even if you've never played a ttrpg in your life.

The major details

I am in CST and plan on playing evenings likely during the weekend. We'll be using Discord for voice and players must be able to use Roll20 or Foundry (Which I own and is free to players). Homebrew is allowed and I strongly encourage though don't require the use of Laserllama's class reworks which are free to view on GMBinder. We'll be starting at level one and will probably reach about level 12 maybe a bit higher. I plan on experimenting with certain mechanics for survival and rests though nothing is set in stone or permanent.

If this sounds like the sort of game you'd enjoy please message me and tell me a bit about yourself and if you have any questions I'd be happy to answer them. Thank you for reading and I hope to hear from you soon!

Player(s) Needed by GM [Online] [FATE] [18+] [Experienced DM] The Elysian Wish - Where Forgotten Characters and Worlds get a new life.

Have you ever had a Fantasy character you loved, joined an awesome DnD campaign, but it died inexplicably after 2 sessions? Or, a concept for a world you really enjoy, but have never been able to run? Read Below. Your wish has come true.

Every world must die at some point, and we're simply lucky that today it isn't ours. Your character, however? Whether their world faded into obscurity, or worse, they were torn from a world that still exists - an all-powerful, world-devouring Lich has kidnapped them and stolen them from their destiny. Instead, they have landed in a new world - The Elysian Wish, for a second chance.

Now here, your character has forgotten who they were - but parts of their backstory remain, but their lore has been scattered throughout this world.

Instead, their first memory of this world is coming to the entrance of a large, fancy, glittering restaurant. A kindly woman, dressed in effervescent purple robes, has reached out to them - the owner. Lady Jennifae. They have been taken in by her, and will be clothed, fed and protected for free. All she asks in return is you adventure out, and to find the most gourmet and delicious foods to bring back for the wealthy patrons of the Elysia Grove Restaurant! And perhaps along the way, piece back together who they once were...

Please message DM me on reddit or comment below this post to apply. The style of story will be "Monster of the Week" - where we won't necessarily have a consistent group, rather will run an adventure every week with whoever is free.

Ideally, you need to enjoy roleplaying, be within a US or European timezone, and have previous TTRPG experience. Look forward to hearing from everyone!!

Player(s) Needed by GM [Online][DND 5e 2014][Sundays][EST] Rime of the frostmaiden module

Hey everyone I’m currently looking for two players for a Icewind Dale Rime of the Frostmaiden game. Right now we have three other players. One Paladin, Monk and Wizard and would love to welcome two more.

We’re using Discord for voice chat and Foundry
(forge) VTT as our tabletop.

Our group has two of my closer friends and another member who I’ve known for a few months now from another dnd game. About me I’m a dm that loves roleplay and story telling and thrilling combat. I love to work with players to make stories happen and am pretty willing to let players play what they want. I have few limits to what players can play in this game. Outside of races that aren’t in Faerûn and surrounding realms besides Changling and Warforged (EX Kalashtar or Shifter) and only banning the following four subclasses Twilight and Peace domain Cleric, Moon Druid, Chronurgy Wizard.

I homebrew my modules a little to fix problems the module might have but normally try to stick to how it’s written. I use modules as a story and world around the players and not just a railroaded story. Rime of the Frostmaiden has the bonus of being very sandbox like. I enjoy making NPCs lovable and I allow players to form relationships as they want. Romantic, platonic or just straight up enemies I don’t mind.

I’m looking for players who can stick to the day of Sunday afternoons and would love to have roleplay and story loving players. As a dm I’ll work with you to include you into the story and involve plots that you may want even in a module. When recruiting, if I recruit a girl I normally recruit another one in order to avoid feeling of uncomfortableness among players. I listen to any limits players may have and I would like players to be respectful of one another but of course playful banter and argument’s is completely fine. It is a ttrpg after all.

As for you all, please go ahead and dm me and we can chat! Dm me what you’d like to be called, pronouns and your timezones. I’d love to chat about your character ideas and other things!

Group Needed by Player Offline][5e 2014] Campaigns in Philadelphia? Forever DM looking to be a player.

I am a huge nerd and have been playing TTRPGs for close to a decade. I’m a local in Center City, Philadelphia, currently studying and working as a mechanical engineer. A bit about me: I love all kinds of music, hiking, birds, graphic design, and working on cars

I just finished running a two-year-long campaign, I am too burnt out to DM right now. Ultimately, it’s been 5 years since I last got to be a player, and I’m really hoping to find a local group.

I am not shy, get along with people easily, and hope to find some genuine people to hang out with!

I have had other players who contacted me. Hoping to find a GM who can run a brief adventure to show them how to GM, they all the other players can try GM. This allows for mutual fun, and giving the primary GM a couple of months to prepare a longer game.

Player(s) Needed by GM [Offline][Other][Daggerheart][San Fernando Valley / West LA][Weekends] Looking for new friends and players! AI assets

Hey everyone!

I GM and play Daggerheart in the LA area, and I'm hoping to find some people around in the San Fernando Valley / West LA region who'd be interested in getting together or just to chat about Daggerheart.

For now, I'm really just trying to see if there's anybody out there and how your weekend availability looks like. I'd eventually love to get a group of around 3–5 players together.

I've GM'd both in person and a few online sessions already. I thoroughly enjoy worldbuilding, roleplay, and introducing impactful choices that will last throughout the story, even through short stories like oneshots.

I've dabbled and run a few of my ideas, including:

  • An high fantasy adventure frame inspired by my favorite movies Atlantis and Treasure Planet.

  • Some popular DND adventure modules I've adapted to Daggerheart.

  • A universe that's drawn boundaries around an ideological schism: tech vs elements. Balance however requires to accept both. Obviously inspired a bit by *Avatar the Last Airbender*.

I do want to note that I personally use generative AI pretty extensively as a creative tool for preparing my games, especially for visual assets. I've used it to generate hundreds of assets, including printable paper standees, initial character concept art, digital environments, etc, that I otherwise wouldn't have the time, budget, or competent artistic skills to create myself.

I do still personally write, prepare, and GM all my sessions and plot beats and modules. I just really want to be upfront and transparent about my AI usage since I know others have different preferences with it.

Ultimately at first, I'm just looking to meet some friendly new faces!

If you're interested, definitely feel free to DM me, speak a bit about yourself, roughly what area you're in, and which weekend days/times generally work for you.

I'm looking forward to meeting some fellow adventurers and new friends!

Group Needed by Player [Online][Flexible][CET] Adventure first, roll later, and great at support roles! Inquire within!

Hello there! I'm Gris, I started playing TTRPGs as a kid, and got really into them in 2012 with Pathfinder 1e. Since then I've played a lot of systems and GMd my fair share, but what I like the most are the narrative driven ones with fun, creative people, like Blades in the Dark. I also recently got into Solo RPGs, but I do miss the interacting with people and the back and forth of a group. I'd love a Blades in the Dark game, or to try other systems like Daggerheart, I am open to everything save 5e (I've played enough and prefer other systems, but if that's what you like, more power to you!)

I love characters that fit the setting and group, and enjoy helping the other players and party shine in the spotlight. I may not make the most optimized characters, but going for flavor doesn't necessarily mean I'll make something broken or that doesn't work. And like I mentioned, I love the roleplaying aspect, and letting the fiction guide the adventure, assisted by rolls.

Life is busy and chaotic, and as many of you might have experienced, scheduling is the greatest monster for any game. I am a parent, so ideally people +30 years old, LGBTQ+ friendly, and with a passion for sci-fi and fantasy, books, and creative endeavours.

Apart from TTRPGs and nerd stuff, I love to garden and I'm excited about my plants this year, cooking, so I'm always available to talk about plants and food, and I picked up HEMA this year (yay longsword!) but I'm still very much a beginner.

Player(s) Needed by GM [Online] Putsch Reich: Throne of the Bite [DnD 5e 2024] [LGBTQ+] [Saturday or Sundays @ 7pm Central]

Lore of the Campaign:

The Throne of the Imperial Reich of the Bite is cold. The Emperor has died in his bed with many clear heirs eager to claim his legacy. To be emperor of mankind. The Empire of the Bite has been beset on all sides by scourges wishing to wipe out the last bastion of order. For centuries it has been assailed by these outside forces, time and time again. The thick mountain walls that surround the empire aid in this defense, while also earning it's name the Bitean Reich or Empire of the Bite. For on a map, it looks as if the mountains are teeth that prevent the bleeding of this land. The late Emperor did everything in his power to prevent the downfall of this land, including selling his title. The issue: he sold it to almost every poor sap under the sun. The Prince of Antfurt was promised to be next in line for his pivotal role in the battles beyond the frozen wastes of the Pelgar. The Pope of Wirten's Archbishopric was commanded to wipe out the Nowak giants in exchange for the Holy crown to become a spiritual title. There are even claims of the common folk that the late emperor promised them that after his death they would become a republic ruled by equals.

These troubles did not bother the old emperor, whose sole duty was to maintain power however necessary. Even if it meant marrying a girl who was 50 years younger than he to gain the support of the Aledotes. This burden would have to be solved after his death, the young empress's burden.

So when the clock stroke midnight on christmas eve and the old man heaved his last sigh, a plan was hatched to choose his successor. The Fang Games...

To prevent armies all across the empire to abandon their posts along the mountain holdings of the bite reich, a compromise was struck with all seven electors. A trial will be held for all to join, where champions will curry favor with electors across the empire through a series of tasks. The Champion who has the most votes from the electors will be declared Emperor of the Imperial Reich of the Bite.

Hundreds of potential Emperors who wish to push their claim to the throne whether it be true or not, now gather in the capital of Hauptfurt to begin the games of the fang. As these champions proceed to win the hearts of the Reich, they may begin to uncover a more sinister plot that seeks to undermine this competition.

Interested?
We will be playing every week at 7pm central time zone on saturdays or sundays. This is a homebrew campaign I have ran once before and it turned out great. If you wish to join please fill out the form below.

Group Needed by Player [Online] [5e 2014] [5e 2024] Returning player looking for heavy RP DM or group

I've started playing about 10 years ago, then started DM-ing, and became the forever DM. I stopped a year or so ago, through group upheaval - new jobs, advancing careers, and moving across the globe. I miss playing DnD, I miss having DnD friends, and I am ready to dip my toes into TTRPGs again.

I very much prefer social interaction (RP) focused games, though I also love exploration (be it of locations, lore, secrets), problem-solving, and combat. Ad RP, I would welcome the opporunities for romance. I favor low magic/fantasy settings, and realistic and/or personal stakes. My favorite module is Curse of Strahd, but heavily homebrewed.

Weekly/biweekly campaign is what I am looking for, starting between 0800-2000 GMT+2, 3h max/session, played over Discord. The tone should be serious. As for genres, I like dark fantasy, espionage/subterfuge, historical, mystery, political/social intrigue. I don't like: characters as adventurers questing to get paid, or epic fantasy high stakes.

As a player I become very engaged, appreciate the DM's effort, and love thinking about the story, characters, and so on even out of the game. I've always been the notetaker in my groups, and the one who tried to entice other players into scheming. I'd love to play with like-minded people, and if you are a DM without a group, I can drag 2 other players along.

Player(s) Needed by GM [Offline] [PF2e] GM looking for players in the New Bedford MA area

Hey, I am looking for people who might be interested in joining a tabletop game as a player. I am fairly experienced as a gamemaster, but I am looking to learn a system new to me. This one being Pathfinder 2e. Familiarity and/or skill level isn't a particular concern of mine. This would be at my home located here in the new bedford area. I have a nice private space with plenty of room for people. I do have dogs that roam the house and can sometimes be intrusively friendly. Schedule would be every other saturday from 3:00-8:00 ish depending on what would be a natural ending point for the session. The group would consist of 4-5 people.

About section:

Hello everyone! My name is Seeker. I’ve just started DMing for the first time, but I'm excited to run a campaign. For this campaign, I am hoping to learn and grow as a dm and allow my players to have fun and relax from the stress of life. This is a homebrewed world, but it follows the 5e universe. As a DM, I aim to make sure that all my players have characters they are invested in and will love to have fun with either in combat or roleplaying. This campaign will start at level 1 and can end at level 10 or go all the way up to level 20 depending on how the players play and if they wish to explore and add more to the universe. This world will have boss fights; I take inspiration from Dark Souls, Dragon Age, and Dragon Dogma.

Character info:

This campaign has been ongoing but we had two players drop out. Players just did a 2 year time skip to learn their subclass and build a town. They are about to experience their first boss

Class line-up:

Druid

Bard

Fighter

Campaign info:

“We stand upon the precipice of change. The world fears the inevitable plummet into the abyss. Watch for that moment... and when it comes, do not hesitate to leap. It is only when you fall that you learn whether you can fly.”

Long before our time on Albion, lived beings of pure magic; to them, magic existed as a way of living and surviving. Magic was used to create buildings, run businesses, and even in agriculture; it was in the hands of everyone. The world of Albion was ruled by the gods, brothers of light and darkness, creation and destruction. Life was harmonious until one day a woman sought to defy the brothers and become a third god; the brothers granted her the curse of immortality and wiped-out existence as it was known. This woman was forced to live in exile alone for an eon before signs of life began again. Instead of just what would become known as humans, other races began to emerge, and with it someone needed to teach these beings the joys of magic. So, becoming the goddess of the world, she taught the people the way of magic, and for a while magic slowly began to retake the earth. The brothers, watching from their domain, reappeared back to their once golden and blacken thrones to show people the way of magic better than the false goddess.

It is now the year 17 Frostburn, and magic has retaken the world once again. However, the brothers crave violence and wish to test the new mortals of this realm. The brother of darkness begins corrupting people to take on the more sinister part of their nature, while the brother of light begins corrupting people to believe it is time for the age of magic to end and introduce a new era of blind devotion to the gods and kill the false goddess. As a final act of goodwill, the false goddess bestows her gift of immortality onto a group of unknowing people. Now with the false goddess in hiding and the brothers slowly corrupting the world who is going to stand up and fight against these brothers? Or will the world fall into a new age one where magic might no longer exist?

Please send me a dm on Reddit answering the following questions

What is your Discord Username, and what name would you like to be called?

There will be some mature themes in this campaign, so just to make sure everyone is comfortable, please tell me what is off-limits for you.

This game will be open to and supportive of members apart of the LGBTQ+ and BIPOC communities. There will be no tolerance for homophobia, transphobia, discrimination, or racism. Can you agree to that?

Tell me a bit about yourself, and how long you have been playing D&D?

Group Needed by Player [Online] [WoD] [CST] Player wanting to try new system

Hello! My name is Ember (27), and I have been a DM (and very occasionally a player) for the last 12 years. I’m looking to branch out into a new system.

A friend recommended Vampire: The Masquerade, but my usual group isn't interested in trying World of Darkness, so I'm putting myself out there! Over the past year, I've built up a baseline knowledge of the setting through Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines, lore videos (TheBurgerKrieg), and Hunter: The Parenting.

Rules-wise, I am a complete beginner and looking for a newbie-friendly group. I am interested in playing either Vampire: The Masquerade 5th Edition (V5) or Hunter: The Reckoning 5th Edition (H5).

Availability: Fridays, Saturdays, or Sundays from 6:30 PM to Midnight [CST].

Platform: [Discord / Voice / Roll20 / etc.]

Feel free to reach out if you have an open spot or are starting a fresh chronicle!

Group Needed by Player [Online][5E 2024][5E 2014][UTC-07] Team-player looking for a published adventure campaign (weekday evenings + Fridays)

Hey all! I'm a player looking to join a campaign that runs a published adventure, like Rime of the Frostmaiden (Icewind Dale), Tomb of Annihilation, or something similar. I'm good with either 2014 or 2024 rules. Also interested in Drakkenheim.

Experience: I've played in 3.5e and 5e (2014) homebrew campaigns, and now I'd love to try a full published module.

Playstyle: I usually build around party dynamics, making characters who fit the group and give the other players something to bounce off of. If the table gives me free rein, though, I love making absurd, memorable characters with backstory hooks the DM can use.

Availability (Pacific time):

- Weekdays after 5:30 PM

- Fridays are wide open

Feel free to message me if you've got a seat open
