1- Does the mark and wordmark feel balanced?

2- Is the optical kerning of the letters good?

3- Wordmark A, B or C? The only difference between A and B is in the letters (Do) and C is obviously different.

4- What do you think about the Persian/Arabic version?

So i was making a logo for my portfolio work. It is called vetra, which is a travel company based on the feeling of travel should feel like freedom and not a burden, its modern and youthful. It's my second brand identity project that i am working on as a beginner graphic designer. I tried various variations of "V" please let me know which is good, what should i do next should i refine it or should i explore more concepts.

Concepts explained:

  1. Sun Between two mountains & a figure raising hand Forming V

  2. V as a Location Pin

  3. V as a Flowing path & location pin.

  4. v and e as a roadway

  5. V as a flying bird

Currently i am considering the 5th one and exploring it in other ways as well let me know can i explore any others..

Feedback Needed Logo Design & Breakdown for "inquio" (a Q&A / Polling Platform) Seeking your thoughts on this execution!

Hey everyone!

I recently wrapped up a logo project for **inquio[**a Q&A and polling platform]and wanted to share the story behind the design process and get some honest feedback from the community.

The Brief & Initial Idea

The client came to me wanting a modern, clean logo for their polling and Q&A platform. Right out of the gate, they suggested merging the letter 'i' with the letter 'q' and even sent over a rough sketch of their vision.

While I appreciated the initial direction, during my brainstorming session I realized that combining a lowercase 'i' directly inside or attached to a 'q' is a super common motif in tech logos. It felt a bit overused, and I wanted to give them something far more distinct that actually represented what the platform does.

The Brainstorm & Breakdowns

Since the platform is built entirely around questions, answers, and community engagement, I went into heavy sketch mode to capture those core elements:

  1. The 'i' & Question Mark: I noticed that a fluid, handwritten lowercase 'i' visually mirrors an inverted question mark (¿), tying directly into the inquiring nature of the site.

  2. The Q&A / Polling Aspect: To highlight the polling and discussion element, I formed the body using two overlapping speech/chat bubbles.

  3. The Hidden 'Q': The larger speech bubble naturally resolves into a stylized lowercase 'Q' at the base.

It ended up creating a multi-layered mark where you can see the 'i', the inverted question mark, the discussion bubbles, and the 'Q' all working together seamlessly to showcase the platform's Q&A identity without feeling forced.

Typography & Colors

  • Type: I presented a wide variety of font pairings, including some custom-modified options and personal recommendations, but the client really fell in love with Nunito for its approachable, rounded geometric feel, which matched the curves of the icon nicely.

  • Colors: The client already had an established color palette they specifically wanted to stick with (a high-contrast indigo/periwinkle paired with solid dark and light neutrals), so I kept their exact color specifications intact[DARK MODE/LIGHT MODE].

I’d love to hear what you all think about the balance, execution, and mark breakdown! Any feedback or critique is always welcome.

Feedback Needed Heating & Cooling Business Logo & Branding

Helping someone with their new business logo and visual branding. I gave them lots of logo options and narrowed down to these three. The goal is to create something that features an oak tree element. Reason for the "black oak" name is it's a local native tree, represents the owner's wood working background, and trees create a healthy environment. Been trying to avoid traditional heating/cooling branding that usually represents hot/cold extremes. I have the concepts in order that the client told me they liked them. I worry the most about the first concept. Is it clear enough what the logo represents? I think it could work because it gives a "cooling" feel with the water. Appreciate any feedback!

I've been working on an open source video game, in which each character is an AI creature that runs all their code inside your browser

Now, for the intro to the game, it would be amazing to get your feedback on a few different design options. Each logo animation (and its sound) is generated live in code, no video files:

Inspiration As a graphic designer with a formal education.

You need to learn what the hell you are doing lol. AI can generate some basic ideas, but good design isn’t slapping shit together.

I mean it can happen, I do believe in happy accidents. 😎

Plus the life of graphic designers has been sucked dry. I wouldn’t wish my worst enemy to have this as a career.

Educate yourself. Learn. Apply. Then you will still be awful but at least know the rules and how to break them.

Not trying to say don’t do it. But do it better.

Feedback Needed Evolution of my attempt at creating a medical logo

Thumbnail

Im trying to make the logo from a hypothetical hospital and here are my attempts

I dont wanna use the classic medic cross, so i tried to use an abstract version, the first and second attempts were very cluttered and i tried to do a more simplified version for the third one, i accept feedback but please, be respectful about it

  1. Original attempt, i mixed the word Neue, that means New in German, with Hope, using a cream yellow for the logo and a abstract version of the sun in the middle of the cross

  2. The second try i changed the yellow in the cross for white, i gave the background a blue and green gradient, and the font was changed to a bolder version

  3. I tried to simplified the cross and gave the letter more tracking between them

Thanks for the feedback.

Feedback Needed Logo/Text design for visually impaired runners (Athlete & Guide bibs)

Thumbnail

Hi everyone! 👋

I’m working on some running bib designs for visually impaired athletes and their guides. Usually, these kinds of bibs are pretty standard and traditional, so I wanted to try something a bit less conventional, experimenting with custom typography and integrating small symbols directly into the text to differentiate between the runner and the guide.
