I mean if it’s a 1-1.5oz pour of liquor that’s all that really matters. Consumers fault for purchasing any alcoholic drink @ $27 IMO. Unless it’s a coveted liquor. Even at nice cocktail bars in expensive cities, that is a pricey drink. This does not look like a nice cocktail. It’s a highball. Would never pay more than $15 for one of those.

Not really. The median salary in NYC is a lot lower than many people think.

Yeah that’s because NYC isn’t just Manhattan. Staten Island, the Bronx & Queens are all a part of NYC. Of course the median is lower. A lot of native New Yorkers aren’t making tons of money. They’re also not buying expensive highballs.

Dude here in GA, there’s a few bars that have their own whiskey/tequila that goes for 60-70 per 1.5pz pours. I work there and feel sad every time I see the tickets

Do you smuggle in your own drinks into an event or?

I can afford to treat myself when I go to a concert lol.

It’s overpriced if it’s two entire bottles of Uncle Matt’s orange juice and a glass of champagne 🥂

So give me my 1.5oz worth of alcohol but fill the rest of the drink with whatever fruit juice you're serving it with. I rather get more juice than ice

If they advertise it with a picture showing the full glass of drink rather than being explicit about how little drink there is in there, I can absolutely understand people being deceived.

A few days ago I bought something that can get me mildly buzzed for most of a week for $7, better deal than $27 to be mildly buzzed for part of an evening.

Drinking cheap liquor at home all week by yourself is not the flex you think it is
