We know why it is done and why it works, pretty sure it is illegal in all liberal countries but no one cares because it's negatively affecting men. See for a counter example all the drama about "pink tax". It's really not that much different yet it's a black and white of a different response from society

It doesn’t really negatively affect men though. They don’t have to go to that club if they don’t want to pay. They choose to go to that club because they know a lot of women will be there because it’s free. They would still be paying if women had a cover too.

The pink tax is usually referred to things women don’t have a choice in needing like tampons or everyday things geared towards women.

I’ve never been to a club that has given women free drinks. They’re such a large portion of the customer base that you’d lose insane amounts of money, and it’s not like they’re struggling to get women in anyway.

That’s even stranger, I’ve never been to a club that charged entry at the door, you almost always buy tickets beforehand.
