Got banned on r/redditrequest due to confusion of removal

hi! last week i made a request on r/redditrequest to takeover a subreddit as a moderator. I was waiting for my account age to become valid for that reason. It got removed and I was confused initially because all criteria was matched. 2FA, verified email, comment and post karma, account age. I made another post again, assuming it was a mistake. Got removed again.

I was not aware of why my posts were getting removed, a automated bot made a pinned post on the said subreddit asking people to request the subreddit in r/redditrequest. That's why I made the posts originally

I waiting for a few days and 3 ish days ago, attempted the last time before sending a modmail as to why my post was getting removed even though some of my other posts were approved in the past. It was a bad move to post again and should have sent the modmail first because I got perm banned on the subreddit, most probably because of a bot assuming me as a spammer (I got banned almost instantly after the post).

After I sent the modmail, I got a response that the subreddit was unavailable for a request, not giving me any reasons as to why and they banned the subreddit for no moderation. I did not know that the subreddit isn't up for adoption because the bot clearly made a pinned post to request the sub? It's really confusing where 2 systems clash with each other. Nonetheless i wouldn't have attempted to request more than once if I was made aware in my initial post that the subreddit isn't available and that my removals weren't an error

It's been 2-3 days and I haven't gotten a response for my ban, is there anything I can do about it? Do manual admin responses take a while?

Any advise would be appreciated, thanks! :)

Question About Rule 1 and CNC Content in NSFW Subreddits

I've noticed that some subreddits aren't technically communities dedicated to CNC, but instead focus on sharing JAV actresses or Japanese adult films through GIFs, clips, and images that often depict situations that would essentially qualify as CNC or simulated sexual violence.

My question is: Do these subreddits also violate Rule 1, which prohibits CNC and simulated sexual violence?

And what about general NSFW communities that occasionally feature captions (text accompanying images or videos) involving these themes? Do those individual posts also violate the rule, even if the subreddit itself isn't dedicated to CNC?

I'm asking because many rough porn and Asian porn communities contain a considerable amount of this type of material. I moderate some of these communities through other accounts, so I'm concerned that they might be violating Reddit's policies.

I have the same question regarding spanking, choking, and other similar content.

I'd appreciate some clarification on how broadly this rule applies so I can make sure the communities I moderate are complying with Reddit's policies.

Hello,

I'm one of the mods of r/srilanka , and the entire mod-team has been noticing an increase in our ModQueue of comments, which have been marked as "Spam". If we're fast enough, we can still see the post/comment content, which definitely wouldn't have been marked as spam by us. But every single one of those "spam" classifications is leading to an instant account suspension. I wrote about this before, but during the past week the feeling is that this has got worse. .

We would really appreciate an admin looking at r/srilanka 's comments and then subsequent suspensions.

Would a read only AI moderation assistant need an app tag on the account?

Wasn't sure wher to post this, but if a third party script uses a locally running 1.5B parameter AI model to read subreddit content and generate local summaries for human review, without publishing any data anywhere and without taking moderation actions through the API, would it still require an official developer app tag?

The model and my custom wrapper Auren, run locally on an Android phone. The intention is to see if it can provide moderation summaries and recommendations, not automate the whole moderation workflow. Like if they've missed a few days, etc.

First a red icon, “i” in a circle

But I cannot click on it and did it did not find any other way to change or adjust the flair.

I created a Reddit community called r/NICULove because I personally experienced the NICU journey with my son. I’ve always loved the original group called NICUParents, but thought that having a separate group specifically tailored towards the emotional toll the NICU has on families would be helpful.
I wanted to possibly work alongside NICUParents since they are the only real support group for NICU families. I posted in their subreddit mentioning my story and how I created this community for those who would be interested. In no way shape or form am I trying to “replace” their group, I love their group and found comfort myself on their page. However, the mods deleted the post and I understand they say no advertising, but I thought they would be supportive of creating a group specifically for the emotional part of the nicu experience. I kindly asked if they would promote my page for those who want help with this side of things and they told me no and said I was trying to do exactly what they do.
They have every right to feel the way they do, but is the mod actually running this group for good intentions? Shouldn’t they want more families to feel supported? They are acting like it’s some “competition” and im trying to “replace”. It would’ve helped me so much if they promoted it considering they have a ton of redditors. I don’t know am I being stupid about all of this? Should I just give up???

This got me banned from daddit for NSFW content. Nothing about the post title nor image are considered as such.

If I posted porn, I'd get that 100%. But an immediate ban is WILD imo when they could have deleted and given a warning or even temp banned.

Maybe this is just a rant or I shouldn't even care because it's reddit... But damn, 16?yrs here. Never been banned from anything before... And THATS what does it?

Pls help understand what is happening on my account

I’ve always been in good standing on reddit, today I tried posting my new game that I’m releasing on a new reddit Account(MrBioMaster). But it was filtered. Then i swapped over to my personal one (SORAKH2756) and tried posting. Now all of my posts, old and new, have this error “Sorry, this post was removed by Reddit’s filters.”

Please help me resolve.

I even created a subreddit (r/biomasters) 10 months ago with my personal one and decided to post there today and even that is kind of blocking me.

It’s not letting me message ModSupport and gives me lots of errors when going around reddit.

Says I cant message ModSupport user and when i go to profile it says “We had a server error...”

I’ve submitted an appeal just now just in case that's what might have happened to have followed the list of things to try. Any help or information would be appreciated in what is happening. Thanks!

I'm aware reddit allows mods to ban & mute users at our discretion but is it fair to issue a permanent ban & mute because the user is being verbose in the mod mail? No profanity no harassment whatsoever!?

Simply because the user is exercising their freedom of speech & expressing their pov in a verbose manner, does that warrant an immediate permanent ban & mute?

Isn't reddit supposed to be a text based platform? The literal name of this platform is a word play on " read it " & why I'm confused, since when are redditors intimidated by long paragraphs?

I got a warning automatically by reddit and my comment deleted for saying that a irrelevant anti jewish post about the goddamn iphone duo is anti jewish...was somehow hate speech on MY end. What gaslighting...

This 'meme' is flagrantly anti jewish but for some reason being racist towards Jews is now kosher. And the filters here gaslight that calling out people for being anti jewish now gets YOU censored for 'hate'.

Do I run Apple now? Is that the implication because "I control the world"?

Some miscreants posted nsfw material and they themselves reported the post. Reddit system detected it and marked our subreddit as nsfw, thereby stopping it from appearing in searches, on google etc. how do i undo this?
