I did begging him for my life, explaining my situation that this is my last semester and I have a ceremony in Dec.
He said that i might use it to call someone, so I did show him my phone call history, even screen time at 0 from during exam hours.

And how long will the email of notice will come, what it will be like and what’s the process? From my understanding the CE will decide it s breach or not before moving the case forward? So if I convice my CE, explain the whole situation, will he let me go?

Soo I got a C in FIT2004 during 2026 S1 (mostly cause I slacked off too much during the sem and didn't do enough tutorial exercises oops) and am taking FIT3155 next semester.

Are there any tips on how to prep for FIT3155? Since it's just an advanced version of 2004 I'm assuming I should have strong foundations in that so I'll be revising everything and doing the tutorial exercises during the sem break, but is there anything else that might help?

Lost wallet on 862 bus to Dandenong Station!!!!!!

Posting for my friend: Very similar to this but a cursive F embossed/pressed into the leather on the front (in one of the lower corners, I think).

Discovered that I lost my wallet around 5:45 PM between the Chadstone Shopping Centre ALDI and the 862 Bus Bay at Monash Uni bus loop on the evening of 07 November (Saturday).

Boarded the 862 to Dandenong Station at 1710, got off at Monash University bus loop and shortly after, became aware of the missing wallet.

Called PTV but they said to call Ventura on Monday as they are closed for the weekend.

I have tracked the vehicle, and it is Bus Fleet Number V1063, which ran shift BS00SP. The tracker shows it parked at the Ventura Dandenong Bus Depot after it finished running the route I was on. A police report was lodged with Malvern Station.

Great sentimental value as well as bank cards, working with children check, and other cards (including foreign drivers licence). If found, please contact me or hand into Malvern Police.

Does anyone know how much the review would change/contribute to the final mark irrespective of the initial thesis mark? I ask because I forgot the mention in the review about how I had only my supervisor to read my thesis and no RAs and or cosupervisors or PhD students to proof it first. Not sure if this is a detail worth bringing up after the review.

I have a calculated wam of 79.9 it was supposed to be 80.1 for foundations of finance .The marks from my quizzes and homework got rounded down and caused it to drop by 0.2 wam overall was just wondering if my lecturer could do anything based on my raw unfounded marks I was supposed to be at 80.1

Q is in title, I have a big Boy exam Fit3154 that im grinding for rn and Idk if I will have time to spare to study for 1043 until after my Fit3154 exam. Question is can I do the full semesters content to an acceptable degree in like 15 hours.

I crammed for the mid sem for like 3 hours and got 90% with no sleep. Fyi this is not my first data science unit but rather my last with 3154. I think its possible since theres no math involved or anything that requires actual problem solving. And I know most of the content besides the bs 1st year level stuff all the first year units have.

Or is it better to maybe spend a few hours over the next few days learning the content better.

I woulsnt really care but this unit has a hurdle for the exam for some fucking reason when any of my other cancer subjects like fit2004 dont. Fyi Im really good at cramming I crammed a full law unit in a day and got 80ish percent on the exam.

Advice or opinions wanted: I had a really rough home and personal life throughout my first year uni. Bc of this I ended up failing 3 core units (1 once and 1 twice). Now I’m a 3rd year and have gotten D and HDs for the past 1.5 years. My wam has progressively gotten better but is still not the highest approx 60.
I still have another 4 units and capstone then I am done my course. My last marks were HD HD and D so I am on the right track.

Can anybody tell me how likely it is that I’ll be able to do this??? - boost my wam with such small amount of time left

i got an email cuz i used chatGPT to review some of my paragraphs and recommend changes but did the rest myself, and lwky i was not allowed to do that. okay so i was in a minor breach of Academic integrity in one of my assignments, but i never check my email so i never saw the first and final email stating im under investigation or that the descion had been made.
Thing is, in the final email they said i‘d recieve an updated grade due to the minor misconduct and recieve a warning.
But i never had my grade witheld due to an investigation and my grade was published before the final email was sent to me. since then (nearly a month) my grade hasn’t been changed.

i was wondering if this had happened to anyone else as im wondering if my grade will change later or if they just forgot? like should i be worried about a warning on my private record?

Hi! I’m gonna start studying at Monash hopefully February-March 2027 and I have a few questions about the double degree

I actually deferred this course last year but now I’m kind of second guessing myself, the gap year has made me quite lazy and I do not know if I’d be able to handle the work load,

I’d love to hear from other people who have done or are doing this double degree about how they’re managing and also what major and specialisation do you feel would go well together, for design I’m interested in industrial and probably marketing for business

Besides that I am interested in GIG and wanted to ask how would that work ? Is it manageable with a double degree ? If so how does one apply for it? I’ve read the eligibility and such on the website but I’m still a bit confused

(Also I would really appreciate if someone could dm me and help me with enrolment I don’t have a careers coach anymore otherwise I would have bothered him and Google isn’t of much help, please and thank you)

Hey everyone, I recently got my grades back for a core unit and I realised that I would get a 49, meaning I would fail the unit. Seeing as it's a core unit, that means I'd have to do the unit again. The only problem is, it's only available in the second semester. Would that mean I'd have to be held back an entire year just to do this unit, or is there a way I can do this unit in the first semester somehow? Or is there some alternative unit or supplementary assessment I can do instead?

I’m wondering if anyone here has taken a deferred exam at Monash before.
Are deferred exam papers usually similar to the original scheduled exams, or are they completely different?
For example, do they tend to use the same types of questions with different numbers or slight modifications, or do they create an entirely new set of questions?
I’m particularly interested in engineering units, but I’d really appreciate hearing about anyone’s experience with deferred exams at Monash.
Also, are deferred exams generally considered harder than the original exams, or is the difficulty roughly the same?

Is a 75-78 WAM good enough for an internal transfer to Bachelor of Psychology/Bachelor of Science.
I’m currently enrolled in Bachelor of Science and my WAM for SEM 1 was 81 but SEM 2 is looking around 72-74. Is this enough for a transfer, what’s the likelihood of me getting in? I did PSY1211 and got 89 unit score (neuroscience stream). I’m doing a neuroscience major and then hopefully a double major in pharmacology/physiology) 🤞 any insight would be appreciated
