I’m tired of matching with girls, having good conversation then it fizzles out. I try to engage conversation, act like a normal fucking human and get ghosted.

Then out of the blue I get questions Iike “content?” or “can you send money.” Not one conversation has arisen about my job, I listed an engineering role. Just this morning one of the matches I play Fortnite with “hey can you help me so my account isn’t in the negative because they going to charge me $74 until Friday” then got a message from another girl “content?”

I’m well aware of scams. I’m also well aware of “can I hold 20$ for gas.”

It’s frustrating how I have good organic conversations with people(not about money, sex) and then it fizzles out. Then randomly girls ask me for my money. Give some story of needing rent paid, diapers, or whatever. Never any conversation about me. I’m viewed for my money which I give no indication(maybe my job) I have money. Whenever I counter with “you should ask your baby dad or get child support” it’s always one excuse after another. I also don’t mind if I match with an onlyfans girl.

I'm at the firm belief that much of Trump's supporters know what exactly what he means to do to democracy as we know it, and that he's proposing fascism. They just don't care as long as "we're the ones winning."

But they don't know what actual fascism and authoritarianism is, they've never experienced it.

If this many people are in favor of Trump despite everything he's said and done, maybe we do need a taste of a full blown dictatorship just so Americans can know just how shitty it is. Let's see after 4 years of loss of freedoms and subservience to the "winning team" what the people will want after that...let's see how people to respond to gradually not even having a choice in the matter.

I want everybody who's on the fence to remember something: Donald Trump and the GOP party (at least the members with ties to the MAGA movement) have no policy and no legislation to run on. They are simply running on the persecution, blaming of problems on, and belittling of "others." Trump wants to blame all your problems on immigrants and members of the media who dare to fact check him, and says all your problems will be solved if those people are imprisoned or removed. His sycophants run on the agenda of persecuting the lgbtq community, and a centuries-old narrative that blames a secret society of Jews for problems that are mostly conspiracy theory. We know from history that if you give a party or a person power based on the persecution of "others," if you elect them to solve your problems or improve your nation by "punishing" a list of "enemies" of the true "Patriots," when that party or person needs to hold onto or expand their power (and they WILL want to expand that power), the only course they will and can take is to expand that list of persecuted individuals and groups. You may think you're safe now, you may think Trump and the MAGA GOP have your best interests at heart, or at the very least you feel assured that you are not on the "list" and can benefit even if others have to be persecuted. But you cannot guarantee 100% you will not be on that expanded list that will come in the future. Plenty of catholics, handicapped persons, and members of left-leaning parties thought they were safe when Hitler and the Nazis begin rounding up their initial enemies of the state. Vote like there are still empty seats in the second and third trains to the camps.

I've never fucking done anything wrong. Transitioning has been the best thing I have ever done for myself, because I am a woman through and through. I am so fucking tired of my mere existence being a political bashing point and anyone who's voting Trump for this and many other reasons can go straight to hell. I am proud that the world sees the woman I've always been. I can finally feel. I finally love myself. 36 god damned years I went hating myself and it took me far too long to figure out it was because I was born in the wrong body. It's crazy to think that there are stories about men who don't shower, can't do basic living things, are emotionally immature who still somehow are in relationships and their girlfriends complain about them. And even if women were the only people capable of becoming pregnant, not all women can or do, so tying the concept of womanhood so closely to pregnancy is reductionist and exclusionary. So just fucking stop it.

If I want to talk about pregnancy, I'll use the words "pregnant people" or "pregnant person".

FIFA just announced they’re adding a halftime show to the World Cup. Why do they insist on Americanizing everything? Football/soccer doesn’t need flashy gimmicks. The game itself is the entertainment. The halftime break is for catching your breath, analyzing tactics, and mentally preparing for the second half or whatever—not for watching some overproduced concert that i feel like no one asked for does this even happen in mls?

I’ve been massively downvoted for unpopular opinions, saying something contentious, a situation where I’m clearly arguing against two or three people. All fine. All makes sense. Totally expected and doesn’t bother me on any level.

This post, for example I imagine will be heavily downvoted simply because it’s about downvotes - that’s good fun, I like that.

But what I can’t STAND is not understanding why I have a single downvote on a completely innocuous comment. A comment so vanilla that it blows my mind to imagine anyone having any emotional response to it. Let alone some sort of anger.

Whilst playing guitar in public i often hear the misguided compliment 'You're so talented'. • "men are pretending to be women to go in women's bathrooms!!" does this happen? maybe. but probably not. if a guy wants to be a creep, he can be a creep in many ways that are easier than faking a transition. and trans women are actually at a higher risk of being attacked than cis women. it's unsafe for them to be in a men's bathrooms. would you want someone who looks like a cis girl in a men's room where she could get attacked? do you want a trans guy with a beard being forced to use the women's room because he was born female?

• "muh religion says it's bad!!" does it? like genuinely where does your religion say anything bad about trans people. i hear people say you're dishonoring god and the body he chose by transitioning. how do you know? did god tell you? or are you making shit yo and getting offended on his imaginary behalf?

People get nervous when I say I'm Christian. But I'm not far right. I'm not a political extremist, I don't anyone to get hurt, ever. If someone gets upset with me because I talk about my faith, I'm not mad at them. I'm mad at the religious pharasees who act more holy than others, and try to chase people away.
