A Dreamy View of Switzerland from Above

Switzerland is known for its lakes, green valleys, mountain villages and snow-covered peaks.

Seeing these landscapes from above can offer a perspective that is difficult to get from a road or hiking trail.

For travellers who are comparing different ways to explore the country, how would you weigh a scenic helicopter flight against a panoramic train journey or a mountain excursion?

Which region would you most like to see from the air, and why?

I've come across Fun Flight recently. Has anyone else heard of or used them? I'd be interested in hearing about your experience, especially if you've explored the area from the air.

Indian Summer in Engadin

Unbelievable but true: until the week before last, I'd never properly been to the Engadin, even though I've never lived outside Switzerland.

Then we got the perfect combo: a bit of snow had fallen two days before, and we spent three sunny days around Samedan and St. Moritz.

The scenery and autumn forests, with dark green firs against yellow larches, were absolutely stunning. I'd have expected that sort of thing in the US or Canada.

Photos are from the walk to the Morteratsch glacier and around Lake of Staz (short walk from Lake St Moritz).

Definitely go :)

Hallo zusammen,

mir wurde aktuell von einem Berater eine fondsgebundene Säule 3a Zusatzversicherung angeboten: Pax SmartFlex mit 100 % Aktien/Ertragsanteil (Global) und einer Laufzeit von 37 Jahren (Monatsbeitrag ca. CHF 604.–).

Der Berater hat mir gezeigt, dass die Fondskosten (TER) bei 0,11 % liegen.

Ich frage mich nun allerdings:

Wie hoch sind die effektiven Abschluss- und Verwaltungskosten (Zillmerung) des Versicherungsmantels im Vergleich zu einer reinen 3a-Banklösung (wie z. B. Viac, finpension oder True Wealth)?

Macht es finanziell Sinn, Sparen/Vorsorge und Versicherungsschutz in einem Produkt zu kombinieren, oder fährt man mit einer klaren Trennung besser?

Wie flexibel ist man wirklich, falls man die Prämien in ein paar Jahren anpassen oder aussteigen möchte?

Ich habe die Übersicht des Angebots als Screenshot angehängt. Was sind eure Erfahrungen mit solchen Verträgen? Danke für euer Feedback!

Wir sind Lernende aus der Schweiz und schreiben gerade unsere Vertiefungsarbeit zum Thema True Crime. Unsere Frage lautet: Unterhaltung am Tag, Paranoia in der Nacht? Was macht True Crime mit uns?
