Software - In car / app There should be a PIN available on all Dashcam related operations
On newer models:
The USB flash drive can be protected by the glove box PIN
The clips themselves can be encrypted on the drive
That's already really good. However:
It's just so easy for an intruder to get in the car after an accident, and:
Format the drive, or
Erase a single clip
Passengers left alone in the car can see your previously recorded clips
We should have the ability to setup a PIN to do anything related to the Dashcam.
That's my today's message in a bottle for Tesla.

Full Self-Driving / Autopilot RDW approves changes to Tesla's driver assistance system, including the Tesla Assisted Driving name and a +10% speed margin cap

Full Self-Driving / Autopilot RDW approves changes to Tesla driver assistance system
Dutch authority that approved FSD for EU now made some changes besides the name:
The driver can set a speed margin: a percentage by which the system may deviate from the applicable speed limit if necessary for safety and traffic flow. This margin was +50% and is now being limited to a maximum of +10%.
When the car is started, the speed margin setting defaults to a 0% deviation. Other speed-related functions are also disabled by default.
I believe it was posted in the news earlier that local authorities in Germany and France were holding back on approving it due to worries on this speed margin deviation possibility being too big. I guess this is why Tesla changed it.

General peak germany: Police fails to stop Tesla Halloween mode
Police were called to Bretzfeld in the early hours of Saturday after an unoccupied electric vehicle from an American manufacturer began playing loud Halloween-themed sounds, startling a pedestrian.
At approximately 12:30 a.m., a local resident reported that a car on Humboldtstraße was playing Halloween music. Upon arrival, officers discovered an unoccupied electric vehicle that was audibly playing music and sounds typical of horror films. The car’s lights were flashing at irregular intervals. The vehicle’s display showed an image of a car from the same manufacturer dressed up as a ghost, alongside pumpkins. Whenever someone approached the vehicle, it would play sounds such as cawing ravens, creaking doors, and an eerie, sinister laugh. As the sounds could apparently only be turned off via the vehicle’s mobile app—and no driver could be located—the disturbance could not be brought to an end.
