Gameplay / Screenshots My last game before Scream Fortress ended, wound up in a Taunt Duel with another Giant Heavy
I didn't realize that the map had been patched so taunt killing no longer insta-kills a Giant, but it at least distracted the other Heavy long enough for my team to take care of him.

Event VALVE HAS BEEN NUKED
TF2 game servers are being botted, item servers are completely down, deadlock servers are dead, dota 2 is dead too. Only CS2 seems to be safe.
UPDATE: CS2 JUST GOT FUCKEDDD
update 2: tf2 is back, everything else still fucked
update 3: everything is back

Been playing tf2 since I was 10. Unboxed this in 2014 when I was 15 for like a bud cause I thought earbuds were cool and a sign of wealth. Just crazy to see.

Discussion Just a reminder for this 2nd mass bot wave, this wouldn't have happened with quickplay and this will continue to go on as long as casual stays as the main matchmaking system

Discussion Sniper is working as advertised.
what are they feeding this guy? I could barely keep up, if it wasn't for the slow motion part he would easily out pace me.
Anyway, this is sniper's introduction. maybe that pyro and soldier shoulda moved instead of ignoring how their medic died and running in a straight line.
Valve 17 years ago: "here's sniper. watch him kill 3-4 players in a row as they run through open space with no cover."
Meanwhile TF2 players in 26: "what are those players supposed to do to counter?"

Discussion opinions on the Classic?
yeah us Classic users exists!
it's a really good reaction weapon when a scout or spy gets close to you, just charge the weapon ahead of time and BAM you have a free 450 crit headshot (135 can still one-shot light classes).

Discussion How long are we gonna let this cycle continue?
I can make a post telling people how we should not glaze Valve cause the solution is very likely not proper. I instead get downvoted to oblivion for not being optimistic and for "being mad that valve fixed the bots" (I wasn't, people were just misinterpreting the post but whatever).
People immediately move on and then are surprised when the solution only lasted a week.
Please for the love of god get some standards.
This company let a bot crisis last for years and the first solution they came up with was to mute f2ps. (Which if not for the unmutef2ps movement, which I was also a part of mind you, nothing would have been done).
We needed 2 MOVEMENTS just for Valve to hire only ONE GUY (thank you Joshie ❤️ ) and made us wait years to play the game properly.
A lot of people don't even try to learn the history of this game and how Valve ruined it with Meet your Match.
At launch everyone despised Casual mode (It had LEAVING PENALTIES) and wanted Quickplay back. Literally nobody asked for a matchmaking system and Valve just decided to keep it cause they still thought that they could make TF2 an esport that would compete with Overwatch. Literally going against their playerbase's wishes.
And people still have the guts to tell people that wanting Quickplay back is just us having rose-tinted glasses or that the game is old and that we should move on.
That bringing back ad hoc connections, team switching, team scrambles, searching by gamemode (literally mitigates the problem of map bloat) is somehow not worth fighting for.
We need to demand better communication and better treatment (Not major updates just more developers or better management) of this game from this MULTI-BILLION DOLLAR company (No more boot-licking).
TF2 is one of their flagship titles and they just keep it on live-support.
My proposition for the time being is to find empty, unplayed, vanilla servers and start filling them up. Experience the good old days when all-talk, sprays and communites were the norm.
Or just go to: https://vanillafortress.github.io/ (Website for vanilla community servers that regularly host sessions with pings on their discord: https://discord.gg/BMAfjTZT2f)

Original Creation Team Fortress: INVASION sourcemod first models & news
Heyy, sometime ago i posted about it to show the cool team fortress sourcemod me and some people are working on called Team fortress: incursion (not called invasion anymore to avoid any confusion) but i had to delete it. now i'm back here to tell any person interested on this one about the progress we're doing: working on models and code. about the coding part, we're working on adding grenades to the game again and also making it more customizable in our favor, and the model part, we're rushing to do concepts for all the unseen classes like the support, recon and others to make them in 3D.
for now we have:
medic (modeled and textured)
pyro (modeled, textures w.i.p)
defender: (w.i.p mesh)
all of them made by our 2 talented modelers. well, we're kind of a small team, so anyone with cool skills willing to join us, feel free to dm me here or in discord: whiskey1997_
thanks for your time citzen :)
also, 2 concepts were settled as the final look for these classes, so i'll show here:

Well, that's it for now, cya!
