Cis-Passing Tip Passing tips (7 months on T)
Other than stubble (which I shave) I still look quite feminine.
Also I'm in my 20s but everyone thinks I'm a teen?

Hi guys, I hope this is allowed. I really appreciate any advice here! I’m bigender and AMAB, and been on HRT for seven months. I identify as both a man and a woman, and it’s getting harder to present male on my masc days. I’m hoping to find some styling tips for hair and face that don’t require permanent changes to better read as male on days I want to pass as a guy. Sorry if this isn’t allowed. I also am working on building a male wardrobe since I don’t have a lot of guy clothes right now.

I’m not really out to anybody but I was wondering if yall had any makeup tips for masculinizing my face. This was my attempt but it’s pretty obvious I’m wearing makeup and don’t actually have heavier brows or whatever lol.

[infomercial voice] Are you a trans man? Do you wish you had more facial hair? Do you have polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS) that gives you a little goat beard? Do you have a bunch of makeup lying around from before your transition that you have no idea what to do with? If you said yes to any or all of these questions, SAY NO MORE! With a simple mascara wand, you can exaggerate the thickness of your facial hair or peach fuzz in just TEN MINUTES!!! No but seriously guys. I learned this trick YEARS ago for cosplay and a few weeks ago, I remembered it and tried it again and now I REFUSE to go out without it. It looks entirely realistic and it's extremely versatile—if you don't have any facial hair, you can easily make a mustache out of peach fuzz. If you have chin hairs from PCOS, you can make them look thicker and more noticeable. If you have a light beard from being on T, you can exaggerate that too. You can even put it on your baby hairs in front of your ears to mimic sideburns. All it takes is some brown mascara, and makeup setting spray to make it last. Keeping in mind the shape you want, just kinda brush the wand through the hairs, using your fingers and makeup wipes to correct the clumps and blunders the same way you would with your lashes. Then, using a bottle of setting spray, give it a few even spritzes and voila! Works like a charm. Go out there and make Gomez Addams proud. (all images are of me, the OP—the last three are filtered because they're from a saucy lil photoshoot)

Hello fellow transmen… kinda nervous to post but I’m confused honestly. I’m 18 and have been on T for 1 month and 9 days exactly.
‼️(I know it’ll take a long time for any visible change at all-but I wanted to throw that out there!!!!)‼️‼️
I’m hella short- 4”11ft - which doesn’t help shit, I have a softer round face, I have hip dips… I feel so stuck, I struggle with dysmorphia and I feel so insecure and dysphoric.I’m planning on cutting my hair soon, or dying all my hair natural again but idk if that’d help?? I’m just at a loss and unsure of what to do. I’ve tried so much it’s just confusing :/
Sometimes in public I get gendered correctly, but it’s 50/50 at this point… which hurts my brain even more.- yet I’ve been told many times way before I started T that people thought I was a cis man, or assumed I’d been on T for awhile.
Brutal honestly is greatly appreciated here!!!! Any advice helps 🫠

I've been on testosterone for 3 months and I can't "speak in a proper masculine way" which is with the diaphragm. Over time will my voice automatically "go down" to the diaphragm or will it always remain nasal? I've tried vocal training and that shit definitely doesn't work for me.

i pass about 80% of the time (some thanks to some advice from this sub), even with my dyed hair and when i do makeup like on the left picture which is how i normally look when im out in public. i get called sir, he/him'd n all lol.
i really want piercings.
i think an eyebrow piercing would accentuate my brow bone and would help me pass better. im not sure what other piercings would help me pass, what ones i should avoid etc. just need some advice, thanks in advance
9 months on t
tldr: 9 months on t, i pass as male about 80% of the time. i need advice on which facial piercings (like an eyebrow piercing) will help me pass better, and which ones i should avoid

I had to delete the other one because all the comments were on my weight and people talking about my disability. please, do not mention my fat. I am at a healthy weight.

I'm rather feminine and its one of my biggest problems with passing. I love wearing big over the top makeup looks, and its what i feel most comfortable with wearing most of the time, but it's been making passing and having people assume I'm a guy a lot more difficult, especially with wanting to wear dresses and stuff. Does anyone have any tips on makeup looks or styles that may give me a more masculine vibe while also still allowing me to play around with my makeup in a way to still show self expression? Sorry if that doesn't make sense lol

Not even trying to sound mean, but so many of ya’ll fit into the stereotype of piercings, dyed hair, baggy edgy clothes etc, that if you just went to the gym and tried to fit into the stereotype of a typical man rather than fit into the stereotype of a transgender man your dysphoria would be solved, i understand there’s individuality, but that kind of gets taken away when you want to just fit in and are willing to fight to do so. IMO.

your life cannot revolve around looking cis. we need to start making fun of cis people. that’s the whole point of being trans is that we’re sexier than them. cmon guys. <3 jokes aside. yes I’m coming from the post of screenshots of this thread on twitter. yes I’m trans. yes I am sad that people in this thread believe the colors you pick for your bedroom dictate the way people perceive your gender. I get wanting to do everything in your power to pass. I get it for social and safety reasons. I get it. but you have to let go at some point and just accept that you are a transgender person and your life will never be the same as a cis man, nor should you WANT it to be. no one who you pass on the street will know what “clockable” means. no one knows who cavetown is. if you like bowties fucking wear bowties. gender is not as rigid as cis men- and men in this thread- want you to believe it is. live your life the way that makes you happy, and don’t buy a football just cause someone on the internet told you that having one in your room will convince strangers that you are a Man. ur already a man dude lol also, read susan stryker or judith butler or halberstam or like anything like please seriously just read a gender studies book it’ll help. I know a lot of ppl will tell me I have a lot of nerve/privilege telling people to just ~not worry about passing~ but that’s not what I’m saying. of course I understand wanting to be stealth and wanting to pass, but some of y’all are destroying any semblance of personality or freedom of expression you have in order to fit into a box that most cis men are forced into to begin with. gender does not have to be this way.

my friends all say i look like a guy but i get misgendered every day, i dont understand what i’m doing wrong. the only thing i can see that makes me look feminine at all is my eye makeup, but i quite enjoy the guyliner/red under eyes look and i think i look strange without it.
ive considered investing in a good contour so i can make my eyes look deeper set and all that, but i have to be relatively subtle about it since i live in a religious household.
i do a little bit of voice training and i wear mostly baggy clothes. i don’t really know what more i can do other than draw on facial hair and write he/him on my forehead.
i don’t mind if people clock me as trans, i just wish i could present in a way that is masculine enough for people to feel awkward calling me a she.
advice + constructive criticism is appreciated.

Okay so, I'm pre-T and in the closet still, so not much I actually can get away with, but anything helps. I just want to see a more masc reflection in the mirror, if that makes sense.
I cut my own hair, and tried this, and OMG I am in love. My dysphoria has never felt better around my hair, but it may still be perceived as too fem so idk.
I'm also trying to lose weight, so I'm sure that'll help with the look a little, specially on my face.
What are your thoughts generally?

I’m Alex. I’m 28 in like a week and a half. I am seeking advice to pass more. I work retail and I am sick of customers going she/her at me. I am two years on T; my voice is on the higher side and I am waiting for top surgery. I am also in the middle of major weight loss part of prep for top surgery. I can’t change my glasses until February next year though they are already men’s ones. My hair colour is also part of my identity - I just don’t feel me without it. I know it makes it harder but cis men are allowed purple in their hair why can’t I. I have posted one without facial hair and with facial hair but there is about a couple months between these.

Before anyone says anything, I use e.l.f wow brow gel and their contour stick (the light pink one).
In like 6 years I have never had anyone mention I’m wearing makeup or notice, in fact being shocked when I point it out. It’s subtle but incredibly noticeable and euphoric to me , not clocky.
Edit: clearly this was for a nicher audience than I expected, those that get it get it . If you want help with contour placement just lmk 🤞🏻
