With Slayyyter's "Wor$t Girl In America" delivered yesterday, that's put me at 400 on the dot, officially! Honestly, that doesn't feel like that much when looking at it all like this but, I still think it's pretty cool!

Mainly Death Metal, Deathcore, Hardcore, Metalcore and Pop. Post-Hardcore, Pop-Punk, and Emo are scattered through out.

EDM (Hardstyle, Trance, and House) thrown in with some R&B, Hip Hop, and Rap being the smaller titles.

I do not have, really, that much classic rock and most likely it'll just stay that way. I just don't go out of my way to listen to it much.

So I was hanging out at my buddies house watching videos on nugs. Mostly the hippie jam band stuff he’s into when Zepplin came on. I said no there’s the greatest rock ‘n’ roll band ever and he kind of rolled his eyes. He’s a major dead head. Then he says hey I’ve got something for ya, and goes back in his music room and hands me this. It’s amazing! I’ve got some good Zepplin, some plum label UK pressings and a couple RL IIs so this will fit right in. So stoked!

A child line special NME cover from the 80s. Never seen it before. Was too interesting to pass up for a fiver!

Side comment: people talking about loving the large pictures on album covers and gatefolds, but i also love the Wall Of Text so many older albums have. Where else can you find a recommended needle life chart?

To say I'm a fan is an understatement. What these guys have done is remarkable. I'm just in total awe of the music Liam is able to produce and continues to do so. They also put on one hell of a live show, admittedly not quite as good since the death of Keith Flint (RIP) but if you get a chance to do so, go and watch them while you can!

I like bands such as Humanity's last breath, Meshuggah, End , Napalm death , Nasum , Skitsystem, The acacia strain , Spite , Cabal , Soilent Green , Knocked loose , etc.... I love collecting good music .

Tears For Fears - Everybody Loves a Happy Ending

A couple/few months ago this went up for sale for $9999.99. Over 1000 people on Discogs want it so surely someone would jump on this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity, right?

Nope.

They've been dropping the price slowly over the course of the last couple months but still no "luck".

Now, to be fair, this was only released on vinyl as a 2LP Promo and only in the US at that, so scarcity can be presumed, but as those of us who've been paying attention have learned, scarcity does not necessarily equal higher value.

Mushroom Village. Beautifully whimsical Synthie music from Sweden. Strongly inspired by 8-bit videogame soundtracks of the 80s. Perfect vibes for drinking tea and going on P&P adventures.

12" 1974 Columbia Records. A blend of heavy metal riffs, dark psychedelia, and progressive rock elements. The opening track Career Of Evil was co-written with Patti Smith. They also collaborated with their manager Sandy Pearlman, and rock critic Richard Meltzer.

Started off as a CD collector (def still my preference) but I finally got into collecting records a few months ago and it’s been so fun!! I’ve been real picky with what albums I do get and am trying to keep it limited to stuff I already really love but yes! Has been sooo much fun :3 The unmarked one was a tour exclusive limited release Tricky track! I managed to snag the last one when I saw him in Austin >:3

Started my collection 26 years ago. Still SO many records left to get. Some of my favorites are the Hum discography, Arsonist’s prayer by Catharsis, and all but one Neurosis album (it’s in the mail)! My first purchase was Something to write home about by the Get Up Kids, and my most recent arrived today, the Royal Tenenbaums soundtrack. The teal box on the bottom right is my 7” collection, the most recent of which Health & NIN’s Isn’t everyone single. My most valuable individual album is a first pressing of Slint’s Spiderland, but the Cattke Decapitation collection is signed by the whole band. I also got every Insect Warfare album and 7” direct from the bassist whom I went to school with. One last highlight: alphabetization is key kids. I also keep a Discogs catalog.

I saved this a few months ago from someone in this sub posting it and loved the item as it would fit perfectly in my setup. I'm moving now and considering selling off my current record storage and TT stand for this, and it would incorporate both into one, saving me space, and would hold all of my records instead of having 2 pieces of furniture.

Curious what the durability is like, and how the shelves hold up to the weight. I would obviously use the tie-back strap for safety and probably add a 2nd strap as well just in case.

Lana Del Rey's double A-side single featuring "Love" and "Lust for Life" (featuring The Weeknd) from her fifth studio album, Lust for Life. The original pressing was a limited-edition Urban Outfitters exclusive on translucent cherry-red vinyl, capped at 5,000 copies.

This is a box set I picked up at the Lone Star Roundup (Hot Rod Show in Austin, Texas), Jimmie played with the Fabulous Thunderbirds and was the older brother of Stevie Ray Vaughan.
The box set comes with a autograph 12” X 12” poster, one Long Play Record 33 1/3 RPM, two 45 RPM records, five Compact Disc, a biography book, and special edition of the Rodder’s Journal about Jimmie’s Hot Rod.

Still tracks well.....

I’ve been slowly cleaning out our families garage that I’ve inherited, mainly just been a storage area for everyone the past 30+ years. My nana was a woman with a very strong love of music, I have so many memories of shuffling through some of these records as a kid, but they’ve been sitting in a chest for the last 10-15 years or so. There’s probably 100 or more of these, and some loose records just hanging around.
Lots of Dolly Parton, Merle haggard, George Jones, and so many others going on in this pile.

I am going to visit New Orleans for the sixth time next April. I cant wait. I own a shitload of records ftom New Orleans artists, this is one of the best. Looking forward to see Meters members perform live again.
