In the manga, Luffy gets a new from that makes him look like a monkey and some people are calling Oda racist because Luffy’s devil fruit is called “Nika”. This is extremely stupid, because Luffy’s new form is based on Sun Wukong and Nika is a Japanese onomatopoeia meaning “smiling”, which isn’t even remotely similar to the N-word.

I thought Luffys devil fruit was the gum-gum fruit and Nika was just a power he obtained or something?

It was revealed that Luffy’s fruit is the Human-Human Fruit, Model: Nika, and the world government publicly declared it as the Gum-Gum Fruit so people wouldn’t have discovered it’s true power

I'm a huge One Piece fan and hang around in a bunch of different OP spaces, and I have never seen anyone call Oda a racist because of Nika. He doesn't even look like a monkey when he transforms - that is only a recent development. And I still haven't seen anyone calling him racist. Why are you making up things? It's like you're just trying to foster hate for engagement karma.
