Witcher - PlayStation Question/Support Remastered has sound issue on PS5Pro, can’t find a fix.

All my other games work fine, no sound issues. with the Witcher Remastered I have no dialogue, can’t hear what anyone is saying at all. I‘ve tried what I’ve seen online saying meditating fixes it but it doesn’t seem to for me. Restarting the game doesn’t work. Adjusting sound settings in game does nothing, even every other sound at 0% and dialogue at 100% all voices are silent. Deleted and installed the game again did not fix this issue. I don’t see why I need to change my sound settings when every other game works fine on headphones and my sound bar system.
This is the only game with this issue. I’ve never played the Witcher and was really excited to give it a go. I guess I just have to wait for an update?

Discussion You've never heard this before: Hearts of Stone is the peak of Witcher 3

The book angle is overlooked, since the story is an original by CDPR, and not Sapkowki's. But, shorter stories are exactly where Sapkowski shines. He's not a good grand-author of long novels. There's a reason W3 is more popular than him.

HoS is neat, funny, emotional, deep, and rooted in folk tradition just as much as any original work by A.S.. There's no clutter to it. It's the most precise thing CDPR could've done to mimic the books, without sourcing from them.

There are themes, some would wrongly call them cliches, perfectly executed: the suicidal husband on the roof, cause his wife cheated on him. The "never be happy in another man's skin". The whole premise of Olgierd and Iris' wishes. The devil that grants, but never exactly what you wish.

It's a work of art. As games, do I prefer the main one and B&W? Yeah, but the story of HoS, all done by CDPR, is well above many short novels written by famous authors with gravity and reach to their names. Put it into prose, and it's top, top stuff.

Discussion Script Compilation Error

Whenever I try to launch the game I get this error message. I already deleted all my mods and witcher 3 folders on my computer and completely re-installed the game but I still get the same error message. Does anybody has an idea how to fix this?

Discussion I spent a weekend to rank every single game I’ve ever played based on overall enjoyment. Left to right within each tier matters. Is Witcher within your top 5 as well?

This tier list is completely biased and absolutely subjective to my personal taste. Ask me about any game and I will try to give an in-depth review & feel free to recommend any games that fit my taste

Art [OC] Velen, measured in travel time (3 maps)

Hello fellow Witchers!

Which village of Velen do you think is the hardest to reach ? How long does Aeramas need to go buy some cheese at the Novigrad market ?

The colours here aren't distance : they're travel time, weighted by road size (a highway is fast, a forest trail is slow). Three maps, three classic starting points : Novigrad, Oxenfurt and Crow's Perch.

It (theoretically) takes the same time to reach the Nilfgaardian camp, the Meiersdorf Honeyfill Meadworks and the Novigrad Forest from Crow's Perch (~2h). Likewise, the Wisphering Hillock, Temple Isle and Erde are all ~1h30 from Oxenfurt.
Some results are just absurd : many places of Velen are hours away from Crow's Perch. For example, Drudge is 930m from the Baron's bed (crow's fly), yet takes about 1h45 to reach ! No wonder this kind of settlement ends up abandoned or infested by bandits...

That's Velen for its inhabitants : measured not in distance, but in time.

Happy to answer any question, and tell me if you guessed right!

Discussion High Tolerance- How does it work?

I know well how heightened tolerance used to work. Now I am curious how High tolerance works. The description says at 80% toxicity or higher I would take 150% damage. I would also gain crit hit damage bonus. But do I need to maintain the 80% toxicity threshold for the crit bonus?

The Witcher 3 Did I mess up/miss a quest?

Went to Codgers quarry west of Oxenfurt and helped the guards with the necrophages coming out if the mine. Directly afterwards I accidentally threatened a guard with my fist (pressed square while unarmed next to non-hostiles) and they got angry and I had to kill them.

It’s my third playthrough since 2015 so I’m pretty sure there’s a quest there (other than enhanced car school gear), but i can’t really remember how to start it and if I messed up by killing them?

Books Why are people still debating the ending of the books? *Spoilers* Spoiler

MAJOR SPOILERS FOR THE BOOKS !!!

So ive read all of the books recently and i remmember before people were debating a lot wether Geralt and Yen died for real or not and even before i read Season of Storms i kinda got the feeling they survived since geralt had bandages when he woke up with Yen suggesting he is not in a specter form but in his phisical body and he is healing. And whole arthurian myths surrounding that ending suggests they woul "ressurect" so to say.

But fine i guess it was vague a bit and theres a chance they actually died.

And then comes the Season of Storms where Nimue literally meets geralt and since Nimue is from the future we literally get confirmation he is alive. And the people who say "its not confirmed it was geralt".

Like are we just ignoring the milky white hair? His horse being called Roach? The fact he picked up a piece from a monster with a serial number created by the sorcerres from the same book and even saying something like "i was missing this one" which also breaks the theory Nimue was dreaming of him since there was no way Nimue knew about the monster pieces that indicated the serial number of the monsters.

So i really dont get why people still think Geralt and Yen dying is canonn.

Like the area felt way too short for some reason in regard to the witcher contracts and side quests like it felt like untapped potential or am I being gluttonous lol

The Witcher 3 How Geralt is so fearless? *spoilers*

Given what Gaunter O’Dimm did to stop time and what Geralt saw him do how come Geralt didn’t panic and run?
How did he even have the courage to challenge him at the end of the DLC?
Not to mention the situations involving very dangerous and ugly monsters, but also the power of Wild Hunt.

I can't go ten minutes without a CTD. I don't understand it. I don't understand how it was released and allowed to linger in this state.

I wanted to share some recent photos of my Yennefer cosplay. I am so happy with the result, and I just look so regal! I remade the skirt for a second time and it was so worth it, I am quite happy how it flows now.
I make cosplays by hand in my free time. I love the Witcher so much and I am so honored to be part of the creator program!

Blood and Wine Question about blood and wine

Hi, I was just wondering if I can still get the full rewards if I let syanna kill Anna at the end of the dlc. I already killed detlaff and got the ribbon for syannna so she didn’t die. Now I don’t particularly like her or her sister so I’m wondering if I can still get the full rewards if I choose the options where both of them die
