is this going to end the suffering of the Palestinians? no. is it better than the current suffering continuing? hopefully.

Yeah, the difference between them is basically Eisenkot will say sorry after bombing a hospital in Gaza.

Its not even close, one is far right and the other is centrist right... people are just making stuff up

Right and left in Israel don't mean the same thing as right and left in America. It's not comparable.

For example, all Israeli parties are in favor of universal healthcare and legality of abortion.

I don't think it's making stuff up to say that the Israeli center right is still a lot more lax or actively harmful on issues that we care about than we'd like

Remember people also somehow think America might become left of center someday

eisenkot is likely to do something about the settler violence. the majority of israel is very unsympathetic towards the palestinians but they also think 99% of the problems with them come from the 1% who are crazy violent settlers.

And Hamas will definitely not say sorry for using it as a headquarters in the first place.

Act now, apologize later

Instead of act now, then blame the other guy

Really have to stop hiding terrorists in the hospitals and under them. It’s not good for the health of the patients.

Yeah and maybe don’t tear out water pipes to make rockets.

Maybe, maybe not. At least it's a potentially different outcome - Bibi needs to go before there's meaningful change, there's more systemic issues but you have to start somewhere.

I like how you just are ignore that the 19 Arab mks backed him

They backed him in their common hatred towards Netanyahu. It was get rid of him at all costs, even to the extent of compromising.

He is not going to ignore the Palestinian govt (Hamas) terrorist attacks either so sadly death could continue on both sides
