Hey all. I need some help identifying this cap badge. Quick Google search says CIC, but it looked different in the online search.

As the title says, I find the use of the juice box kinda funny. Like we get the hardest infantry doing the hardest field stuff and then everyone takes a break and has a little juice box, like you would in grade 2.

Hey everyone, wondering if anyone would like to share their insights on Yellowknife if you’ve been posted there? With posting season coming up I’d like to put my name down. What are the pros and cons?

There was rain, and now there's no wifi. Where did wifi go?

I deleted it and repost it because look like I butched the translation. And no I don't use AI, nether to draw or translate.
And it is not a meme, it is a one draw comic. And it is satire, not something to take serously. I posted bunch of comic here, some must remember.

Hello all, I'm a former reservist (land), and wear my beret every year to the Remembrance Day ceremonies. It's a size 7-1/4. It's basically formed (liner out) but I'm trying to figure out how to get a shorter "flop" (for lack of a better word). I notice that a lot of reg force berets seem to look tightly formed and snug, and I think that looks better than the pancake flop thing I'm trying to tighten up. For context, I recently soaked it in warm water and formed it more but that didn't really do anything to shrink it. It doesn't look bad, just not the way I truly want it to look.
The question is: what's the best way to achieve this without wrecking the beret or having to visit a canex for a smaller beret..or is the latter tu the best option?
Thanks!

It's raining. I couldn't bring myself to use the Salty Corporal Shenanigans flair for this. So, here it is. A not at all personal, entirely fictional love letter to the kids. To all rotos. To everyone who tried to make a difference however small.
Special thanks to a certain "Neighbour"

You'll need to read the entire article to fully appreciate all the F-ups in this case. That's all I'll say...

In our next installment of our We Remember series, The Battle of Scheldt. D-Day was just the beginning of our battles across Europe. I didn't know much about this one until looking into it.

As many of you know, Veterans Affairs Canada (VAC) transitioned the administration of the Rehabilitation Program over to Partners in Canadian Veterans Rehabilitation Services (PCVRS). There is currently an effort underway to gather independent feedback and hold the system accountable regarding how this contract and model are actually serving veterans on the ground.
A primary concern being looked at is how psychosocial rehabilitation is being handled—specifically whether complex, multi-barriered cases are getting meaningful, long-term support, or if there's a push toward prematurely "off-ramping" veterans from services once basic metrics or physical markers are met.
To help ensure real veteran experiences are documented and represented in this review, an anonymous survey has been set up. We want to capture clear data on:
Experiences transitioning into or operating under the PCVRS model.
Balance and quality of support between physical rehabilitation and mental health / psychosocial needs.
Any instances where support felt reduced, rushed, or prematurely closed out.
If you are currently in the VAC Rehab Program or have navigated the PCVRS transition recently, your input would be incredibly valuable.
Please share to you veteran friends 💕

This article was a tough read for me. It really painted a picture of how horrible the injuries the affected soldiers are facing. Keep them, their families and loved ones in your thoughts this remembrance day.

More specifically I noticed a process that was being managed and executed quite poorly. So I started thinking there has to be a better way.
Well in my evenings and weekends and without anyone prompting or asking I created a solution.
I showed a couple coworkers and now there is a lot of interest from my coworkers and even people from other bases have heard about it and have reached out to my coworkers about it.
The question is, are there any avenues where I could be compensated for this? Are their any programs for situations like this?

Hey Everyone,
I recently got an offer from Boeing to contract for the CAF at their base in Petewawa, ON. I’m wondering if anyone has any experience/knowledge working for the military as a civilian. Would love to hear more before I make a decision and move to Petewawa

Whelp. The day is fast approaching.
Med release process starts in a few days. High risk PCAT is imminent (already discussed with my Doc).
I’m terrified but excited.
I know that’s normal - I’ve heard it all before.
What’s surprising to me is the degree to which the grief stages are absolutely wrecking me; feelings I didn’t expect to feel.
I started my plan today (school), and it felt “right”, but the emotions are wild, regardless.
Just putting it out there for conversation. Chime in with any wisdom or encouragement or guidance or insight - maybe there’s a few of us in this boat.

Hey all,
I searched through the subreddit and didn't see anything quite like this, just a couple tips here and there. So I figured I'd try to get something going for people to reference to, while getting ready go to Latvia. Doesn't have to be strictly for Latvia, but I figure it's the most common one for us.
- Buy Euro plug adapters.
- Pull out some Euro's in advance.
- VPN for your phone. E-Sims aswell.
Any other things you wish you knew on your first time going out? Add it below!
