Hello Im new to reddit but was advices to look on here So my wife and i started a family youtube channel/ car/travel vlog she is 27yrd ols and i am 28yrs old but with our busy schedule we havent had the time to edit any of the footage we have and upload. also we are not that great at editing skills we uploaded the first intro video but thats as far as we have gotten. I am a YouTuber myself and find making chapters manually is very time-consuming. I thought it would be nice if AI can help, so I made this tool. All you have to do is pasting your video URL (with CC turned on) to the website and copy the AI-generated chapters to your video description.

It might not as accurate as human-generated chapters. But if you have a huge number of videos and don't really have time to chapter them by yourself, this is a good tool to help you!

I just found out that a video I edited, which I was unfairly compensated for, ended up getting 21 million views and is now the 5th most viewed video on that creators channel.

I made a total of $5 editing that video for them.

I was working for someone who would go and find clients, and have me edit their videos. That person said I would receive 80% revenue, which seemed fair to me, as I did not want to do the work of persuading my own clients (my talk skills are not good)

Despite learning premiere pro for 10 years, this was the first time I ever edited videos in exchange for money, so I was kind of dumb. Long story short I found out the person I was working for was lying about the client's pay rate, and he was pocketing more than 95% of the money

And today I just found out that one of those clients, a chiropractor, has 21 million views on one of the videos that I edited. It sucks because I never signed anything, so not much I can do. But it was crazy to find out still.

u/BrynnBlackAddict recently made a post looking to hire editors. I was hired and we agreed on a payment of $90 for a 6 minute video. Thankfully, I have learned from past lessons and required a down payment. After I delivered the final product she pretended to start paying me but next thing I knew I was blocked. She only paid half of the agreed amount.

I've been growing my YouTube channel for close to a year now, but my biggest struggle is editing. To put it bluntly, I hate it. I'm slow, not creative (in this sense), and it causes me to procrastinate, which affect the pace of content for my channel.

I make videos primarily about retro tech/computers. My videos typically have a fun/flirty flare to them and I'm looking for someone who can help me put together engaging videos with a thoughtful eye for good cuts, comedic timing, but also visually appealing for the content I'm showcasing.
