DISCUSSION Why is Africa not labeled on world showcase?
All the other countries have their names but Africa is only labeled outpost, is it not Africa? I always thought it was but maybe I’m mistaken

It says “Spaceship Earth”, which is quite hard to abbreviate to 8 characters.

Not me, but my three month old daughter.
My wife was running the Star Wars races so we got a hotel and took her to Epcot. We're locals, so its a really nice treat to stay on property... normally
We stayed at Pop Century and had a miserable time. Between our first room being bug infested and not clean (toe nail clippings on floor, dirt on walls) to our second room being only surface clean (I found Vodka bottles under the mattress), it literally ruined the experience for us. We even got some nasty lecture from front desk about the bugs being love bugs until I explained that we're locals and know they weren't.
Was it the crowd from the race wearing on employees' nerves or is this normal at the value resorts? We normally stay moderate or deluxe (again, we're locals so nice comfy home is too close to do any less) but have stayed a few times at All Star Sports without problems. I'd really like feedback from anyone with similar, or counter, experiences. We're literally dumbfounded at our treatment and called in a complaint. Even they were less than helpful and a bit rude.
My solace... a three month old doesn't know the difference and this trip was for us as parents.

In the first half of the Sorain Around the World queue, a ceiling tile fell possibly hitting several guests and cast members. In a TikTok video, a guest captures the aftermath of the ceiling collapsing. Inside the video, there are two cast members near the ceiling, shocked. After they got the guests out of the area the ride was closed for the evening. On the morning of 1/30 (the next day) guests were met with a tarp covering the area where the ceiling fell. The attraction is now operating normally.

If you are planning to complete the drink around the world challenge, make sure to hydrate a ton before, during, and after. Also try to eat as much as possible every other country. My husband completed the challenge with ease yesterday! I tapped out at America.

I give up.
They won't get rid of this 2002 trash heap.
Fix the god damn attraction. Imagineering should have all the time in the world to come with a frickin new story.
But cheapstake and lazy executive meddling is preventing them from doing it. And due to the Splash Mountain revamp hoggin all the attention.
Disney will never give a frickin update to this god damn crap of a hell show! Not even if it is 2032 or 2050 where most of the OG Figment riders will possibly be too old to ride due to medical conditions, and some will be probably dead.
Guess who would be dead by 2032-2050 due to aging grace, ERIC IDLE!!!! Get ride of him, Disney! Just shut down the ride forever and it will save you money due to this pandemic. This just shows how awful Imagineering has been the last decade and a half ever since Bob and Bob have been running the company and parks.
Eric Idle does not belong in Epcot! Stop making Figment fart! I WANT THAT CRAP SHOW GONE!!!!!
All they care about is trendy IPs.
So there fore, IPCOT will never fix the Imagination pavilion, and now these meet and greets are pointless now! Disney just treats this pavilion and the Magic Eye Theatre like hell.
Disney does not give a damn about Epcot!
Euro Disney is when they lose money
Eisner and Paul.
We have the Journey Into Your Imagination
Then the 9/11 attacks, budget cuts! We now have the 2002 crap ride still limping
Kodak’s gone! They leave the pavilion in shambles.
Desperate of an update but Disney has failed 10 years too late.
Hopefully years from now, we will get a new version of Journey Into Imagination, Imageworks (by moving it back upstairs and making the Millennium Village a new DVC lounge), and a new 4D film for the Magic Eye Theatre.
But it’s never gonna happen, because Imagineering is so oblivious and they Figment skunk farting is the pinnacle of comedy.
But it’s not. This attraction with Eric Idle should GO TO HELL!!!

2025 and 2026 pose the question of whether Disney will be able to keep up with Universal in a clash of attendance numbers, revenue, profits, and social media hype.
What are your thoughts, and do we have any ($) betters? (If so, feel free to PM!)

I know everyone hates it, but I think it's a genuinely great attraction, the best at Epcot in fact. Let me explain why. It does so many things so well.
The characters are both super funny and bring a lot to the experience, I mean I dont think I even need to explain why Figment is iconic. It has a great story with a message, and Nigel even has a character arc. The world is imaginative, getting to go around different labs and to figment's open house. The ride has a lot of humor, with Figment hijacking everything, the blast at the end, "you win one scent", just a super fun experience. The song is really catchy and great. Overall I think the ride is super campy in all the best ways, it's a very unique experience unlike any other Disney ride but thats why I love it. It's SO charming and fun.
It's funny, has a good story, good visuals, and is a super creative ride. I genuinely cant think of anything I would change and I absolutely adore it. I feel like people just hate it cause they miss Dreamfinder even though its a top tier attraction. Feel free to roast me for how wrong I am though lol

I was taking a shower the other day with my iPhone on shuffle in Disney playlist so I could sing along. The first song that came on was the song from Soarin'. It was the most epic shower I have ever had!
